Chapter 109 A New Union

After the return of Queen Portia with the dragon egg, peace travailed the Polish monarchy on cosy evenings when the world outside seemed to disappear; Bea, Emily, King Leo, and Queen Portia loved spending time together. They would gather in the drawing room after a delicious dinner, sipping on warm cups of coffee or tea, playing games and challenging each other.

During the weekend after Portia's return from her treacherous trip, Bea couldn't hold it in any longer. With a serious expression, she spoke up, "Can we have a serious talk?"

Curiosity piqued, and Leo and Portia exchanged glances before nodding. "Of course, Bea. What's on your mind?" Portia asked, a hint of concern in her voice. Bea took a deep breath, her eyes shining with excitement. "Tanner and I have decided that we want to have a winter wonderland wedding." Portia's eyebrows furrowed slightly. "But, my dear Bea, everyone loves a spring wedding. The flowers, the warmth—" Bea gently interrupted. "I know, Portia, but we feel that waiting until spring would be too long. If we have a winter wedding, our families can attend. It would be in the Christmas Holidays, and the older Beta, Gamma, and Delta can stand in for my parents while our friends and extended family celebrate with us."

Leo leaned forward, his eyes filled with curiosity. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, Bea. But where would you like to have the wedding?" Bea sighed, a slight frown on her face. "That's what I need help with. Tanner is making all the arrangements, but we can't decide on the perfect location." Leo thought for a moment, his mind racing with possibilities. "Well, since Tanner is the Prince of Norway, perhaps the wedding could be held there? It would be a fitting location, don't you think?" Portia's eyes lit up, an approving smile spreading across her face. "Norway would be magical for a winter wedding. The snow-covered landscapes, the enchanting aura of the mountains—it's perfect!"

Bea's face brightened as she considered the idea. "You're right! Norway would be incredible. I'll talk to Tanner about it." Portia glanced at the clock. "When do you plan on leaving for Norway, Bea?" Bea hesitated, then smiled. "Actually, Tanner's taking care of all the details. He insists that I only need to focus on enjoying the wedding preparations. He's such a sweetheart." Leo chuckled. "Indeed, he is. And you deserve all the happiness in the world, Bea."

As the conversation continued, Bea felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She knew that her family, her chosen friends, would support her no matter what. The location of the wedding was just a detail. What truly mattered was the love and joy shared on that special day.

And as Bea looked into the eyes of her brother and sister-in-law, she couldn't help but feel grateful for their unwavering support. She knew that no matter her challenges or nemesis, they would always be by her side. The story of Bea, Leo, and Portia was far from over. It was a tale of love, family, and the beauty of embracing life's twists and turns. And as they laughed and cherished each other's company in the cosy drawing room, they knew their journey was beginning.

Beatrice couldn't contain her excitement as she boarded the plane to Norway the following week. It was finally time to begin planning her dream wedding. She was greeted by Aunt Ruth- Cassandra, or rather, Queen Cassandra, who couldn't hide her delight at the prospect of her step-grandson marrying her nephew's daughter. Beatrice wasted no time. She picked up her phone and called her mother and grandmothers, eager to share the exciting news. She explained that they would all meet in Norway to discuss the wedding plans. Her Scottish grandmum immediately promised to bring her measuring tape and show Tanner and Bea the designs they had in mind.

With Roseann, Bonnie, Azalea, and Bea's mother by her side, Queen Cassandra assured them that together, they would create the wedding of the season. The room buzzed with ideas and anticipation as they gathered around a table filled with sketches and fabric swatches.

Conversely, Tanner promised to coordinate with the groomsmen and send all their measurements to Beatrice's grandmother. They were determined to spare no detail in making this wedding perfect. As the arrangements continued, Azalea, the talented seamstress, had her work cut out. She would fly back to Scotland to begin designing and sewing the bridesmaid dresses, ensuring that each would fit perfectly. Her studio and Fashion house will be full of activities for a while.

Both sets of grandparents chimed in, insisting that no expenses be spared. Being responsible for the decor, Roseann shared her vision for a winter wonderland wedding, promising to create an enchanting atmosphere that sweeps everyone off their feet. Dowager Queen Cassandra, known for her impeccable taste, ensured the Royal family of Norway did not hold back on the wedding expenses. She had already been in contact with the King, who was more than willing to make this event a Royal affair. Amidst the arguments and discussions, they all agreed to give each other creative freedom, knowing that the combined efforts of their talents would result in a truly magnificent celebration.

As the planning progressed, Beatrice couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. This was a wedding and the merging of two families and two hearts. It was a celebration of love and unity, and she couldn't wait to walk down the aisle, hand in hand with Tanner. But for now, there was work to be done. Beatrice, with the support of her loved ones, dove into the wedding preparations with unwavering determination. Nothing would dampen the joy and excitement that filled her heart as she imagined the day she would become Princess Beatrice of Norway.

And so, as the days turned into weeks, the plans took shape, and the anticipation grew. The wedding was on its way to becoming a fairytale come true, and Beatrice couldn't wait to see how it would all unfold. But the story doesn't end here. There were still adventures, lessons to be learned, and challenges to overcome. The journey of Prince Tanner and Beatrice was beginning, and it would continue to captivate the hearts of those who witnessed it, for love knows no bounds, and their story was destined for greatness.
