Chapter Ninety-One

Chapter Ninety-One
Olivia

It's been two days since we've been home, and I feel like every part of my body is only now feeling exhaustion and all the pains. Everything that I didn't feel whilst I was in the hospital I'm only now feeling. I have tried soaking my body with oils and salt but I'm still feeling the same, so now Jason has called for come and massage me. I told him that he could actually do it himself and he said that if he does it himself then we're going to end up having sex and I will be sore all over again.

I'm in the room we used the last time we had people do massages in. Jason called a different company than the one he called last time and I must say I'm having the massage of my life. It may not be better than the ones that I was getting well there was pregnant but it competes with it. By the term the lady that's massaging me is done I feel wholesome in a way and I also feel like I could sleep through out a storm.

My shoulders and back were very painful but now I feel like I could lift the world in my hands and not fall at all. It's a good thing also that I got this massage because with the triplets around I'm doing a lot of lifting. I guess they're making up for lost time. I'm also grateful that I've got all these people that are willing to help me with them because I don't think that I would be able to do it alone. As much as Jason helps I mostly do everything alone if that involves the kids.

Three days after my massage Jason and I take the kids and we go to Mountain View for the weekend. It's been a while since we've been here and I admit that I've really missed it. Jason and I were hoping to have alone time but with the kids with us we can't really have it. And so we settled to make this family weekend with hope that when the kids are asleep we will have our own alone time.

It feels so different walking into the house with three more people that were never here before. It feels more right though, like the pieces of a puzzle coming together. I think it's also the fact that I've always loved this place and that's why it feels more like home. Anything this moment that I feel like I should maybe convince Jason that we must move here and live here.

I mean the kitchen cooking because my husband says he misses my cooking. He says that every time we're here his reminded of the first time that I cooked for him and so he asked that I cook the meal that I first cooked for him because it is favorite. He said that that meal solidified his feelings for me.

The phone rings somewhere in the house and as I'm busy chopping vegetables a realized that it's the phone in the kitchen, I pick it up and answer it and I hear Jason's mother's voice on the phone and she's asking that I opened the gate for her. It is this moment that I realized that Jason has upgraded the security in the house and nobody comes in without our knowledge. When I look at the phone hook I realized that there's a button that says open and another one that says close and I press the one that says open.

I called Jason as soon as I'm done with the call and tell him that his mother is here. He seems surprised about the information and wait with me in the kitchen.

"Wait, where are the kids?" I ask him.
"They're playing upstairs."
"Jason you can't leave the kids alone." I scold him and he shrugs carelessly as his mother walks into the room.

His mother looks like she just walked off the cover of a magazine. She walks straight to her son and hugs him and then comes to me and because she looks like she's waiting for me to hug her I go for it even though I don't understand why all of a sudden she wants a hug from me. I guess she feels like maybe there's some peace between as because her son is here.

"My god I heard about your accident." She says to me after the hug and I realized that's the only reason she's here. "How are you doing?" She asks me and I realized that is the first time she sounds genuine to me.
"I'm okay it was nothing that serious." I say don't playing it because I don't really want to talk about it.
"Well no matter, I'm glad that you're okay and you're safe." She really does sound genuine and that makes me a bit happy.
"Uhh mother you didn't tell me that you are coming." Jason jumps in.
"Am I supposed to notify you every time when I come to your house? Can't a mother come and check on her son and her daughter-in-law?" She asks and the question sounds very weird coming from her.

Maybe it's the accident or maybe she really did have a change in heart because she sounds and looks very genuine. She also sounds a bit hurt from the question that Jason asked her. Jason tells her that no it's okay and then she turns to me and compliment me on my dish. I ask her if she'll be joining us for lunch and she says yes.

Jason goes up to fetch the kids and his mother goes to the den and place with them whilst I finished up cooking. When I'm done I dish up for everybody and visit down and eat.
