Chapter Eighty-Five
Chapter Eighty-Five
Jason
We found the car they had left with, it is battered beyond repair. At this point my prayer is that the girls are still alive because I don't know how anyone can survive the kind of rack the car experienced. Worse is that there is blood everywhere which worries me so much. I am not ready to lose my wife. Although I will never be ready for something like that if it's to happen.
Dimitri has been running phone calls to people he knows. He sent his guys to inspect the place he suspected the girls were taken to and they came out empty. Unfortunately I don't know anyone here or I would have made some plans too. Joe said they don't know anyone here either. I called Landon when we arrived at the scene because he's the most sensible one of Olivia's brothers. He said he'd get back to me. I don't know with what honestly, although I know the guy has connections.
I'm trying not to panic, I really am but it's getting harder by the minute because we don't have any information. And when I think about all the blood I saw in the car it gets worse. But one thing is for sure, I am not going to leave the people who have my wife alive. That's a promise I am willing to keep. For her and our children.
My phone rings and the caller ID shows a number I don't recognise. I don't usually answer numbers I don't know but at this point I'm thinking that maybe my wife was able to get a phone somewhere, so I answer it.
"Mr Osbourne, this is Lorenzo. I received a call saying you need my help. I'm going to need you to give me your location so that my guys can pick you up." The voice on the phone says.
"And who might have informed you that I need your help?" I ask him, although I suspect it's either Landon or Joe.
"Mr Willow, sir." He answers proving me right.
"Let me send you my location. How long would it take you to find them?" I ask before I send him my location.
"My guys are already searching through this city and the next. Two to three hours, give or take."
I turn to Dimitri, who is busy also making plans with his guys, and tell him what is going on while I send Lorenzo our location. I'm still trying to see if I might see something about her location on her tracker when we hear a chopper coming toward us from the sky. A guy steps out from it and hurries towards us.
"Mr Osbourne and Adamo, please join me in the chopper so that we go to our headquarters." He says to both of us loudly so we can hear him over the sound of the awaiting chopper.
We both agree and run towards the chopper without a word. We've already spoken about this, his guys will still look for our wives even without us present and we will still communicate with them to find out what they know.
Twenty minutes later we land on a rooftop of what looks like a hotel. When we descend, I realise that it actually is a hotel. We don't see much because we went down a staircase then we were in a room that had way too many computers and even less people. One guy who is standing walks straight to me with his hand out to us and introduces himself as Lorenzo, putting a face to a name.
"I'm going to need both of you to give me access to your wives' trackers so that I can bypass the encryption to locate them. We've found the car they were taken in but it was abundoned in a hotel closer to your warehouse Mr Adamo. And at least five cars left at the same time from the hotel going to different locations. We're still searching all the cars that left the hotel and that stayed and left at least thirty minutes to an hour of the time frame." Lorenzo says all of this while showing us all the action on the monitor.
"Fuck, this was planned. And whoever planned this is either still in the house or is out there. But this was planned." Dimitri says after we've given Lorenzo all the information he wanted.
"Yes sir it was. I've sent a team to your house. Currently, it is under lockdown. Mr Osbourne your children and nanny are on the way here though. Mr Adamo, I would suggest you clean house. I don't mind helping you collect dirt on everyone that works for you. Although we already have almost everyone under surveillance." Lorenzo says and i feel a portion of my stress go down because my kids will be safe.
Ten minutes later, I'm holding two of my children who have at least stopped crying, which I hope is a good thing. They are sleepy because apparently they haven't slept at all. After I put them to sleep in beds that Lorenzo had put there, I go back to help with what I can with my computer skills.
From what we noted, two cars went to the same location. One car that had left about five minutes after the second car of the kidnapping left and another that left twenty minutes later. We suspect that the ladies were out in two different cars. Which is reason for two cars.
We had cars cameras hacked to help us with the search. We now know where the ladies are. We are still searching to see who the warehouse belongs to. It's covered under a lot of names and companies. Dimitri suspects that the kidnapping was planned by someone close to him. He even suspects that it has something to do with Desiree's pregnancy. I fucking hope it's not true.
We finally found a name of the owner of the warehouse, a woman's name. Candice Bloodstone did a lot to cover her tracks. The same woman who had been at the house helping with the triplets. Also an ex of Dimitri's. Who also happens to have a brother who works for Dimitri. And Dimitri is pissed.
She's already made an escape from the house. We suspect she is on her way to the warehouse. Which is why we haven't barged in yet. We want to see if she will go there. And right we are, she went straight there.
We have an opening, the guys can just walk in there and out without getting hurt. From what we've noticed, as much as she planned this, she doesn't have a lot of people covering her. Which begs the question of whether she did this for Money or not. Irrespective of her reasons, we check that our guns are still fully loaded, I kiss my kids and we are going up again to the helipad.
It's been long since I used a gun. I don't like the reasoning behind me using it now, but the time is as good as ever.
