Chapter Eighty-One

Chapter Eighty-One
Olivia

It's been a hectic few days. From planning a vacation to visit Desiree, the kids growing like they are being watered. Now I need to find a nanny will be able to travel with us. Albeit one who understands that it will only be just for this trip. That after the trip is over, they will have to go back to their usual lives. It's proving difficult finding someone suitable though. Because I need to consider whether the triplets will like the person.

"I was thinking that maybe we should just take someone the triplets are used to." I tell my husband the Saturday before our departure.
"Babe we can't take your mom or Mrs Belle everywhere with us." He replies, although he is not refusing the idea.
"Oh no I am not talking about those old ladies. I was thinking more about Kennedy or Sheila." I tell him.
"Oh...who?" He asks and I laugh.

I knew this question was coming. I don't know if Jason does this intentionally or not. He never knows the names of the people who work for him, unless they work closely with him like Mrs Belle. I doubt he even ever notices them in fact. I guess it's also because they all came at Mrs Belle's recommendation. But honestly it's a bit rude.

"Are you ever going to learn the names of the girls who help us around the house?" I ask him and he scratches his head guiltily, not even meeting my eyes anymore. We've had this conversation before and it's always the same. He really doesn't care about them, I'm pretty certain on that one.

"Well I guess now is as good time as ever seeing as you've decided to take one of them with us." He replies.
"No, not decided. I am suggesting we take one of them. We both need to make the decision." I reply.

We're sitting in our bedroom. We haven't actually left the room except for to eat. We've been playing with the kids since morning, bonding more like. And since we are practicing them on sitting, we figured out bed is a good place for them all to sit on. Jason is sitting with Ric and Issa infront of him while I have Liam on my lap rubbing on his back.

"I think he is sleepy." He says looking at the baby on my lap. I know for a fact he is. It's something I noticed he enjoys whenever I do it.
"Yeah, I know. He lives it when I do this." I say smiling.
"I know you were suggesting. And I was saying it's ok if that's the decision you've made. I honestly don't care who we take at this point. I just want to leave this city." He says and sighs deeply.
"You know, we can always just go to Mountain View..." I take out another suggestion.

I love the place honestly. Which is why I told Jason it wasn't necessary for us to travel to another continent just for relaxing. It's been too long since we've been in Mountain View and I miss the place. But my husband says it's not a trip if we're just going to be in the house just like here.

"You've been hunting about that place. We will go when we come back. Don't you want to have a change of air? Come on babe, don't you miss Desiree?"
"I mean I do miss her, but this is not going to be us having our us time. Have you thought about that?"

God, we're newly married and yet we don't even have time to ourselves. And it's all his fault for wanting kids this early in our relationship. I love my kids, really I do, but I miss having this man all to myself. I miss having to spend time by myself or even with my brothers at the club. But I guess it's the bed we made. I just hope he learned from this lesson. But I guess it's good thing first children is only once.

"You want only us time?" He asks with a smile on his face and I already know what he is thinking, which makes me smile in return.
"You know I do." I say and bite my lower lip, telling him with my eyes exactly what I want our alone time for.
"Ok, I promise we will get our alone time, whether it's there or at our house." He says coming closer to me and kissing my forehead.

We've been having sex, really we have been. But I miss the wild nights we used to have. The shower sex, and the sex we had when we woke up. These days it just feels like we're doing it just because we're married. I don't know if we've lost our spark or we just put it aside for the sake of the kids. I want to see if that spark is still there. I want to keep it alive for as long as I can. I mean I know Jason loves me and all but what's going to happen if we lose our spark.

The thing people say that a relationship is not all about sex has never been married or been in a real relationship. A relationship where you can't stop touching each other and wanting to feel your significant other close to you. It's all about chemistry really. And what is chemistry without lust, wanting to connect with ea h other body and soul? It's all about sex. And it's a good thing that my husband loves sex really, as much as I do if not more.

I also know that no man can be kept with sex only, but I don't have to worry about keeping him really. It's all in the heart, his heart really. So for now I'm good. But it's not really "for now', with how obsessed he is with me, it's a no gamer he will never let me go, that he will love me till eternity. And I him really. I would ever survive without him.

"Ok, then I hope we won't be staying long there. Let me put baby Liam to bed." I say and stand up, cradling him to my shoulder and heading to their room.

Honestly, I've thought about us putting a door between the wall dividing the two bedrooms, but with Jason and I back to sleeping naked, it's not a good idea at all, especially when it's time for them to start walking and running around in the house. And I can't imagine us going at it like dogs and one of them opens the door and finding us in that.

When I come back in the bedroom, Jason is giving Ric and Issa their bottles. My baby girl has grown so much more than the boys since she started eating earlier than them. The boys haven't started feeding yet and it's honestly a good thing. I can't imagine having to buy milk, food and nappies. I know we don't lack for money but it's a bit too much.
