Let me see the death that made you
"No, I refused; I can't let you betray your friend. Octovia loves you more than I did. I don't want to use you." His tone was filled with sincerity.

"Okay, I won't force you. But I promised to always support you" she said, and the Agatha case came to her mind.

"Are you aware of the breakup between Sam and Agatha?" she asked, and he scoffed.

"Maybe that's good for them; it's for the betterment of everyone. I don't see the hatred between these families ending soon, not after they killed my father" he said, and Agatha tried to persuade him.

"But what about them? He cut her off.

"You said they broke up; that's a good decision to make. Let's end the discussion. It's not worth worrying about." He was dissatisfied with the discussion.

Luna Katherine walked into the Alpha Xander villa. He saw him lost in thought. She chuckled softly to notify him of her present.

"Mother, you are here"he said, swaying out of his deep thought.

"Yes, I heard everything concerning the decision made by the other packs. What are you going to do if they declare war?"Luna Katherine damanded her voice seeking answers. And he chuckled dryly.

"I am ready to have that war with them. Our great-grandfather worked hard to see that this packed get to the top and no one could take it away just like that. I will fight the war if that's what they want." His phrases sparked an eerie silence in the atmosphere.

"I wish I could help, but I couldn't. I spoke to Mrs. Smith several times, but she refused, saying she wasn't ready to go against her daughter. I understand her, but if her father were alive, things wouldn't have gotten to this. Right now, I just wish you would choose another mate for yourself and save the strength of going to war," she suggested, but all was in deaf ears.

"My decision won't change. I am not going to give up like that. You don't have to be sorry about me; rather, you should make the preparations for Khan's wedding; you know his family is against this. So he only got us. I will not choose any other mate. That's my final decision, and nothing is going to change it" he said with a tone of finality, telling her there was no room for discussion.

"You should be prepared to present your words in front of your cabinet. I don't think they are going to support you in any way, not when Roger has succeeded in poisoning their minds against you. I wish you could understand, but I can assure you that I am always there for your support. You are sweating in a well-ventilated house; you should go and take a bath to release your stress. I will be leaving now. And finally, you should try to speak with some of the Alphas that you know aren't against you, but I pray your words are convincing for them because it's a tradition that has been for a long time that an Alpha must have a Luna by his side because this adds to the respect they gave them." She said this before leaving, and he closed his eyes, gritting his teeth.

"She's right, every Alpha needs a partner because it's what completes them, but you are just too stubborn and full of yourself. You know I told you I wouldn't be talking to you until you made the right decision. " Mark her, "But you are scared to do that; screw you." Hus wolf groaned angrily.

"When you are done, you will keep quiet. This is my body, and you need to respect my decision. If you talk again, I will render you powerless by injecting a wolfbarn into my body" he threatened, and his wolf growled inwardly.

"You are a fool; you will be affected the most as you become an Omega. How are you going to fight a war without me? How will you transform into a wolf if you do that? Your threats aren't working on me; I guys, you should try another thing. I will stop talking to you until you make the right decision. I can't wait to mark her as ours." His wolf fights him inwardly.

"If it was so easy, why don't you take over my body and go and mark her? Stop talking to me, understand," he shouted at his wolf.

"I will not help you out with this war. You will use your body to fight. I guess you can fight with swords, right? Let's see how you take those wolves down with your arrogancy, fool," he said, and he chuckled.

",If you dare, don't take over my body when needed." He threatened before standing up to go and take his bath, then the lady locked up in the cell came to his mind. He needs to see her and know who her master was. He walked out of his room, going towards the cell. Immediately after he gets there, the guards in charge pay him their respect.

"Bring her out here." He ordered them, and they quickly rushed to bring her; she couldn't stand, probably.

"Why can't she stand on her own? Haven't you guys been feeding her?" he demanded.

"She always refused to eat, but sometimes we have to force her to eat by striking her." One of them explained.

"Put her on the ground" he ordered, and they did that, and immediately he raised his hand, signaling them to evacuate.

"I guess you will confess to me now that it's only me and you here." He slowly bent to her level, but instead a wicked grin played in the corner of her mouth.

"You are a good actor, but you aren't getting something. Just kill me because I won't tell you who my master is" An evil grin played on her lips.

"You can tell me, do you know a problem shared Is a problem solved? Imagine how your so-called boss hasn't tried to release you in a long time, and when he finally did. He asks them to kill you, which means you are now useless. Why don't you work for me? Do that so I can help you out. You are losing yourself, and I know your family is in agony waiting for you." He tried to calm her down to see if his trick might work on her.

"What family are you talking about? Who told you I have a family? My family was killed by rongues in my pack, and it was the same person you want me to expose who saved me and breaded me; I can't betray him" she said with reluctance.

"So he's a man; I think I got some details from you; tell me the person, and you will be free. He tried manipulating her to fall for his tricks.

"I am not going to say anything to you. The least you can do is kill me; your soft mouth won't work for me. Go and use it to convince your mate that rejected you. And stop trying to intimidate me. Her words solemnly got to him. He gripped her neck angrily, choking like off her

"I have always wanted this; the mistake you guys make is going easy on me, her words dripping despite the fact that she's being choked to death.

"You will see the other side of suffering since you have refused to cooperate. You are a fool who thinks her life belong to her master's when she has her own life. The least I can tolerate is a prisoner running her mouth. I guess you deserve to be treated to death. Idiot," he said, his voice brimming with venom as he ordered the guards to take her away.

"Don't give her food until further notice; whip her 30 strokes every morning and night until I give orders." His words were filled with wickedness as he walked out of the place. He doesn't know where to start; he has a lot of enemies now, and he can't always stay off guard. This time, he wouldn't let anything come his way. His phone rang, and it was an unknown number. He didn't want to pick up, but he retorted to do that.

"Alpha Xander, how have you been?" The voice came huskily from the other end.

"Who are you, and why are you calling? He demanded with a straight look.

"Because you have my business, haven't you kept my girl for a long time? Send her to me so I can pass my judgment on her' the voice replied, and Alpha Xander burst into a rancorous laughter.

",You are a fool to think you can threaten me" He smirks and tugs at his lips.

"I am not threatening; I am ordering you to send her to me or else" His voice came across as a threat.

"Or else what, motherfucker? If you think you are a true hero, why don't you see me in person? I don't like when you can confront me with your problems but rather shield me. Real men don't fight like that. Show me you are a real man" His voice came with a touch of vulnerability, and he burst into rancorous laughter from the other end.

"Haven't you heard that when you meet me, you meet your death?" He's phrases sending shivers down his spine. But rather, he took some with courage; he's a king and shouldn't be scared out by ordinary threats.

"I want to meet you and the death that made you" he said, but the call ended.
