Thalina's POV
I can still feel his claws on my neck. It was still sore so I continued applying some ointment to somehow lessen the pain but it was too hard to treat my wounds on my own.
I frustratedly put down the ointment and stared at myself in the mirror.
While staring at my face I remembered how he acted earlier again. He became violent something I never thought I would get to experience.
"Thalina open the door," he called in his commanding voice.
I felt fear creep into my system once again.
After he walked away earlier leaving my offer unanswered I was overthinking if I made a wrong move again.
His eyebrows are furrowed and he looks mad as if he didn't like my offer so now I am confused and I don't have any idea if I should open the door or not but if I ignore him I might receive a punishment that's even worse than what I experienced earlier.
I took a deep breath gathering my courage and bravely walked towards the door.
My hand was cold as I held the doorknob and upon opening the door I saw King Thaddeus standing in front of my room with a first aid kit in his hand.
"How's your wound?" he asked as if he wasn't the one who did it.
"It's fine," I responded but instead of believing in my words he brushed off the hair that covered my neck and checked it himself.
"It's still bleeding. Let me clean it,"
I immediately shook my head and covered my neck again using my hair.
"It's fine I already cleaned it. You don't have to worry King Thaddeus I am fine. This will heal in no time,"
"It won't," he firmly uttered refusing to believe what I said. "You lost your wolf which means your ability to heal yourself will take longer than usual and it might leave a scar if it was left unattended so let me help you. Let me clean your wounds. I was the one who caused it anyway,"
Afraid that if I disagreed it might lead to another fight I just nodded and let him do whatever he wanted.
I widened the opening of my door and let him step inside. The moment he was inside I shut the door and followed him as he walked towards the bed.
He sat at the edge of my bed and tapped the space beside him.
"Sit here so I can clean your wounds,"
Like an obedient puppy, I sat beside him. I can feel my heart beating faster against my chest when his finger brushes my skin.
He scooped all my hair, putting it on my back, and inspected the wound on my neck.
After a while, I felt his finger gently put a cold liquid on my wound.
I can't help but flinch every time I feel the sting.
"Does it hurt?" he asked worry laced in his tone.
I took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, a little,"
After saying those words he started blowing air on my wound as he continued applying some ointment.
It tickles every time his hot breath touches my skin and for some reason, I feel heat traveling between my thighs.
Am I really that deprived of pleasure to act like this with his simple movements?
I bit my lower lip even more having a hard time controlling my desire.
My breathing started to get heavy and it started to feel hot. Before it could even lead to something I immediately stood up and took a step away from him leaving him confused.
"Why? Does it hurt?"
I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat and shook my head. I forced a smile hiding what I really feel inside.
"N-No. I just feel sleepy all of a sudden. Can I take a rest?"
He was still confused but despite that, he nodded and started taking the first aid kit from my bed.
When he was done he stood up and stared at my face for a few seconds before heading towards the door but before he stepped out he turned to me and it was my turn to get confused.
"Why?" I curiously asked anticipating what he was about to say.
"About your offer..." he started while looking at me intently. "I will take it," he added which made my mouth gape.
"Are you sure? How about Princess Atasha? I heard you were supposed to marry her?"
His reaction didn't change when I fired the question as if he was already expecting me to ask it.
"I will talk to her. I am sure she will understand besides I wasn't planning to make you my queen forever. Once I satisfy my desire and can control my wolf then I will dethrone you and have Atasha as the queen as they have always planned. You have no plan to be the queen for the rest of your life didn't you? You just want to make them pay right?"
For some reason, I felt something heavy inside my chest but I still nodded my head.
"Of course. I have no interest in power, King Thaddeus. All I want is to make them regret what they have done to me,"
He smiled at me and nodded. "It was settled then. You will satisfy my desire and help me remember my dark past and in return, I will help you with your revenge and I will also help you regain your wolf. That's our deal Thalina,"
I walked towards him and extended my hand. He looked confused so I smiled at him.
"I hope we both get what we want King Thaddeus,"
I hope this deal won't cause me pain and won't lead me to danger.
I hope this deal won't lead me to another nightmare I want to escape from.
