Chapter 41: Epilogue Two

**Lily** ***(9 Years Later***)

"Vroom. Vroom. Vroom." Zayden, my three year old son, makes car noises while moving his car around the carpet of Keely's house with Caleb, Keely's four year old son.

"Mommy!"

I glance at my right and smile at Hayden, my three year old daughter, as she makes her way to me with a sad expression. "What's wrong?" I crouch down and softly stroke her pink cheek.

"Drink!" She motions a hand to her lips and I laugh softly. I give her a sippy cup and chuckle at the look of concentration in her face.

"Me too!" Zayden abandons his car and makes his way to me extending his small hand. I smile and hand him his, straightening up.

"Oh no, I think Jayden wants one too." Jeremy sets our other three year old son down. Jayden immediately hugs my legs and I laugh, handing him one as well.

Nothing much has changed between Jeremy and I. We grew up and I went to community college close to here. I graduated, went to a four year college, and became a nurse and Jeremy became the Beta of Jesse. We got married right after college when I was twenty-four and Jeremy was twenty-five. A year later, I get pregnant with triplets. Two boys and a girl made by both me and Jeremy. I wanted to name them names other than Hayden, Jayden, and Zayden but I was too hopped on drugs to stop Jeremy so here they are.

"You smell delicious..." Jeremy hugs me from behind and places a small peck behind my neck. I shiver and tighten my palms around his arms.

"Ew, Keep it PG, you guys. Your children are here." Victor's teasing voice causes us to pull away with groans.

Always an interruption. Somethings just never change.

"We were just hugging." I grumble. Victor chuckles and places a kiss on my cheek.

"Aunt Lily!" A cheerful voice causes a smile to light my face.

I crouch down and open my arms. "Aiden!" Victor's five year old son runs into my arms and hugs me tightly. I laugh and kiss both his cheeks.

"I'm jealous. He never hugs me that way." A voice causes us to pull away. I look up and smile at Vanessa, Victor's mate and wife.

He met her at the grocery store when we went to Florida for spring break. It was funny because she was twerking on an old man in a wheelchair singing "Anaconda" by Nicki Minaj. Victor was so jealous, he began screaming at the old man for about ten minutes before realizing the man was blind.

Victor was upset when we left but he and Vanessa took turns traveling from pack to pack every weekend. When Vanessa turned nineteen, she moved to the Dark Moon Pack. She's almost exactly like Victor, teasing and a bit slow but more in the blunt side. She gorgeous too with brunette hair and brown eyes. They got married about four years ago when Vanessa was pregnant with Aiden. After Aiden was born, Victor accepted the duty of being third in command for the Dark Moon Pack.

I hug her and I pat her back. "You know he loves you." I shake her shoulders.

"I know." Her cheeky smile is so contagious.

"Vanessa!" Keely squeals, walking down the stairs. Vanessa shrieks and runs up to her, engulfing each other in a hug.

"Hello, Victor! Yes, hello Keely." Victor sarcastically speaks in a high pitched voice. Jeremy and I snicker but Keely waves him off. "Anyway." Victor sits beside me on the couch. "How are the triplets? Its been ages since I've seen them."

"You babysat them yesterday, Victor." Jeremy slowly says.

Victor nods, eyes glancing at his sides. "I knew I babysat someone yesterday! I thought I had babysat Caleb and Alyssa though." He taps his chin thoughtfully.

Caleb and Alyssa are Keely's and Exel's adorable children.

"Uncle Victor!" Hayden runs up to Victor and jumps on his lap, causing him to let out a grunt.

Hayden loves Victor which isn't much of a surprise since they are similar when it comes to character. Except, Hayden hasn't gotten to the part of being teasing and blunt but I know it's coming.

"What's up, my little sunshine?" Victor pinches her cheek and *coos* with a goofy face. Hayden giggles and I exchange a look with Jeremy. I don't think I've ever seen him act like this, not even with Aiden.

"Sunshine?" Jeremy scoffs and lifts Hayden off Victor's lap. "She's my princess and *my* daughter." Hayden giggles and pokes Jeremy's cheek.

Victor narrows his eyes, legs lifting his body. "What? But I'm her favorite uncle."

"And I'm her dad."

Here we go. Despite all these years, they still fight like little kids. It gets old fast but I learned to ignore and not enter into their petty fights.

A thunder of steps come running down the steps. I chuckle as Caleb, Aiden, and Zayden run around Vanessa and Keely who are now engrossed in conversation.

"Lily, your phone is ringing." Victor pokes my shoulder.

I sigh and press the "Answer" button on my iPhone. "Hello?" I don't even look at the caller ID.

"Hey!"

I pull my phone away from my ear because of the unusually high pitched voice of Joanne's. "Why are you loud?" I groan.

I hear her giggles through the phone. "I'm still not over the fact that Chase and I adopted children." She sighs dreamily.

Chase and Joanne got married but they didn't go to college. Instead, they made Alpha and Luna of the Red Dawn Pack their primary job. Chase was next in line anyway. After they got married, they tried for a baby but they couldn't have one. They were heartbroken but instead of weeping and moping around, they started the process for adoption. They adopted a girl from the Congo named Jael and a boy from India named Ravi.

I smile. "I know, they are so adorable!" And really messy.

Joanne chuckles. "I can't wait to see you. We are gonna land tonight. I was just calling to make sure our pack was okay."

It's my turn to chuckle. "You left Brandon and Diana in charge." There's a long silence on the other line.

Brandon met his mate when she moved here with her parents. She's a pretty one with brown hair and blue eyes, the complete opposite of Brandon but more talkative. They got married and had twins who they named Ana-Lilia and Ana-Lynn. Brandon and Diana became third in command for the Red Dawn Pack since Alexis' mate was better for the Beta position.

"What?! Chase told me you were left in charge!"

I scoff. "I turned down the Luna position for a reason, Joanne. I love being the Beta's wife and I'm not even *that* responsible to co-run a pack."

"I'm gonna kill him." I hear her heavy, angry breathing.

"Good luck with that."

"I'm home!" I hear Chase's cheerful voice through the phone.

"Chase! What's this about Brandon and Diana?!" Joanne doesn't greet him back and I hear Chase let out a squeak.

"W - what did Lily - she's on the line?"

"Damn right she is!" Joanne growls.

She's going to kill him.

"Lily!" I hear Chase growl at me through the phone.

"Bye!" I quickly hang up.

"Seems like we can have a day to ourselves today." Keely cheerfully says as she and Vanessa plop themselves beside me.

"How about our kids?" I raise an eyebrow.

Vanessa groans. "You had to ruin the moment." Vanessa almost pouts.

"Covered. A girl from my pack, named Jamie, will take care of them. She loves kids and has experience." Keely says casually, flipping her hair behind her shoulder.

"Did you tell her it would be fourteen kids including kids from the Red Dawn Pack and Dark Moon Pack?" Vanessa crosses her arms, lips twisted into disbelief.

"And until tomorrow night?" I add.

"Duh." Keely nervously laughs and waves a hand of dismissal. Vanessa and I give her a pointed look.

"I'll tell her now." Keely gets up and walks off with her phone in hand. Vanessa and I exchange a look and burst into laughs.

Yes, nothing has changed much between us.

(*Six Hours Later*)

"That's nothing! Remember when we survived the fire? That was one of the scariest things that has *ever* happened to me." Megan admits, cuddling up to her mate Hunter.

"I remember." Brandon's eyes are wide while he moves the logs around in the campfire.

"I think the worst part was when Jeremy and I found Jesse in ducky boxers mas - "

"Don't mention it in front of my wife!" Jesse interrupts me and covers Jenna's eyes, his wife.

Jenna pulls his hands down and stares at me with big eyes. "He what?" Her eyes seem to widen and I laugh along with the rest.

"Well, since we are suddenly sharing secrets, I found Victor making out with a hamburger... in Megan's dress." Jesse grins, sticking out his tongue towards Victor's direction.

I gasp along with the others at Jesse's confession. Even at night, I can see Victor's face heat up in the dark.

"It was a dare, I swear!" Victor stares at Vanessa with wide eyes and points a finger at me accusingly. "She made me!"

I glare a him. "Did not!"

"It was me actually." Megan admits with an evil smirk. "I was mad because you burned all my bras."

Jeremy shivers, face scrunched up. "In your dress?"

"It was Lily's actually."

"What?" I stare at Megan in horror.

Vanessa slaps his chest. "How could you?"

"I don't remember..." Typical Victor.

Brandon suddenly laughs. "It's funny how we always seem to walk in on Jeremy and Lily doing it." The others nod in agreement.

Jeremy growls, his aura getting dark. "It was so frustrating! All I wanted was to - "

Diana, Jesse's mate and wife, interrupts Jeremy. "Watch what you say. Virgin ears here." Diana covers her ears.

"You have twin daughters." Alexis points out.

Diana retorts, "I know but I didn't need to hear that unnecessary information." We chuckle.

I grab another marshmallow and place it on my stick. I watch as the flames lightly cover it and it begins to turn black. I think we've already eaten a hundred marshmellow bags.

"I guess my favorite part was kidnapping Lily." Jeremy winks in my direction.

"Why did you guys kidnap her?" Nick, Alexis' husband and mate, wonders with a laugh.

"She tried to go to the Royal's place alone. She was acting like a selfish whore." Megan states. The others holler.

I roll my eyes. "I didn't want to hurt you." I angrily chomp on my marshmellow.

"Or did you want the adventure all to yourself?" Exel nudges me in the arm playfully.

"Maybe." I smirk.

"I don't think I'll ever get tired of these days." I hear Keely whisper as she cuddles into Exel's arms.

We always have a bonfire in the Red Dawn's Pack cabin. We do it at least once a month so we can be together and share old memories but also to make new ones. We always have a blast and stay overnight, it's becoming a tradition.

"I hope this never ends. Old memories is what's bringing us closer." I whisper as Jeremy wraps his arms around my shoulders.

"As the present does. If we didn't live a few miles away from each other, I'd probably move on." Chase admits with a guilty face.

"Me too." Some of us chorus in agreement.

"It's only natural." Diana shrugs. "Far away relationships aren't for everyone. They definitely aren't for me."

"Or me." Victor mutters. "Being far away from home would be torture. We have shared so much, I'm afraid it'd feel like a piece of me was gone if I had to move away."

"Aw." Vanessa smiles at her husband and places a kiss to his cheek. Victor winks, tongue sticking out towards Jeremy's direction. Huh, sneaky son of crop.

"I know I don't know you guys that well but when Megan introduced me to you, I felt like I was going die. You all looked like you wanted to murder me." Hunter admits.

"We just wanted to scare you." I roll my eyes.

"I wasn't worried about you girls that much, no offense." Hunter quickly adds. "I was more worried about Jeremy and Jesse. They had much bigger muscles back than."

"We still do." Jeremy corrects but Hunter waves him off.

"How about me?" Victor acts offended.

I give Victor a look. "You were holding a *plastic* fork."

"That's only because I didn't know it involved "muscle" power." Victor makes quotation quotes with his fingers.

I face palm at his stupidity.

Nick laughs. "I'm glad I met you but I'm happy I ended up with the best mate in the world." Nick gazes at Alexis with a loving look.

"Lies." Jesse wraps his arm around Jenna's waist. "Jenna is the best."

"Sorry to interrupt but Lily is the best." Jeremy kisses my cheek. I don't hide my smile.

"Ahem." Victor grabs our attention. "The position to number one mate and wife goes to... Vanessa James a.k.a. my wife." Victor smirks.

"Aren't you gonna say it's me Hunter?" Megan pouts.

"Honey, lying is a sin." Hunter casually states. Megan elbows him in the stomache and crosses her arms angrily.

"Keely is the best, you guys. Especially in..." Exel trails off, eyes growing the familiar gold specks. Keely slaps his chest with a blush. I grimace at the horrible image that crosses my mind.

"Gross." Diana shudders. "I believe I am the best according to my adoring husband, Brandon. Right?" Diana gives Brandon a stern look.

Brandon blinks. "I do?"

Chase snorts. "Number one mate sleeps in my bed!" He celebrates with his hands. Joanne slaps Chase's chest but blushes.

"As if, Joanne is too bossy." Jesse shouts in protest.

"What?" Joanne's glares at him.

Victor snorts. "So is Megan!"

"Victor, how could you?!" Megan rises off her seat.

"You stole my bacon in sixth grade!" There's the Victor I know.

"I would never!"

I laugh as Victor and Megan begin to insult each other back and forth. Like I said, some things just never change.

"I am *not* a fatass! You know nothing Exel!" Jeremy spits.

"You eat beef like a pig!" Exel insults with a glare. Jeremy gasps.

And some things do change.

"How dare you insult pigs that way?!" Vanessa intrudes. Jeremy stares at Vanessa with his mouth wide open.

"Your ass smells like ass!" Alexis suddenly yells at Diana.

"It's an ass! It's suppose to smell like that!" Diana yells back.

"Not like yours does!"

Diana gasps and turns to her husband. "Brandon defend me!" Diana orders.

"That's too much work." Brandon looks away.

"This is bullcrap. Act like the adults you are." Hunter straightens up in his seat. Suddenly, a marshmallow hits his face but he calmly flicks it off his lap. "Very mature, Nick. Very mature." Nick laughs throwing another. This time it hits him in the forehead. Hunter stands up and crosses his arms with a stern look. Nick throws a rock this time and it pokes Hunter right in the eyes. Hunter rubs his eyes. "Fuck being adults." Hunter runs towards Nick with a growl.

"Ow! Why did you just smack me?" Chase rubs his cheek with a glare directed towards Brandon.

"I don't know." Brandon shrugs and smacks him again.

"Son of a - !" Chase grabs the bag of marshmallows and throws them at Brandon. Brandon opens his mouth, his mouth ready to welcome the sugary goodness.

Keely scoots beside me and nudges me in the ribs. "Want to spray them with the water hose?"

I stare at her for a few seconds before I smile. We run towards the hose connected to the cabin. I grab the hose and Keely twists the opening. I lift up the hose and make sure it's directed towards the bunch. Keely has her hand on the small wheel with an evil smirk. I mimic her face.

"Ready?"

I tighten my hands around the hose and plant my feet to the ground than glance at Keely, nodding. The hose makes a noise before water shoots out with a strong force that almost knocks them out.

Just making new memories.
