Chapter 40 - The Chosen One

**Lily** (***A Day Later***)

"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." His deep, seductive voice brings me out my thoughts. I blush furiously and slap his arm away when he reaches for the blanket covering my naked body.

I can say I'm satisfied with my choice.

At first, it was hard but then these thoughts came to my mind and they made more sense to me.

He places a light kiss on my shoulder blade causing another tingle of excitement to surge through my body. I smile and lay on his naked chest, tangling my legs with his.

"Do you regret your choice?" His voice is soft and curious, a trace of doubt in his voice. I pick up his hand and kiss his knuckles lightly.

"No." I don't hesitant. I can feel him smile in my hair and that's all it takes for my heart to do flips.

That's it.

His small touches cause this powerful feeling to surge through my body. It makes me want to attack him like a savage beast and devour him.

His eyes stare at me with such love and affection that I thought could only be real in books and movies. They also hold this seductive look he only shows to me.

His words are so meaningful and so honest it causes my legs to wobble at how deep yet seductive they sound.

He's handsome but he doesn't use it as an advantage to manipulate and seduce girls.

He's sexy and he knows that but he doesn't dare place his eyes on another girl.

"Why are you so gorgeous beyond words can describe?"

I blush at his words and can't help but giggle at how honest he sounds.

He makes me feel like the most gorgeous girl in the word.

"Why are you so handsome?" I fire back and play with his fingers. They're so long!

His arms tighten around my waist. "I asked you first and lying is a sin, baby."

I smile. "Then don't lie to me." I whisper the words softly under my breath and yelp when I'm suddenly under him, his eyes serious.

"I wouldn't lie about something like that." His eyes stare into mine. "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, no exceptions."

I stare right back.

How is it that someone can make you feel so superior than someone else? So special and so unique in a good way?

I love this feeling and only he can make me feel this way.

It's not fake. It's not something that was arranged. It's *not* a mate pull.

"What are you thinking about?" His voice brings me out my thoughts. I didn't even notice when he laid beside me and wrapped his arms around me.

I stare into his eyes and smile. "I'm just glad things turned out this way."

"Me too." He smiles back.

After I decided that Jeremy was the one I wanted to stay with, I told Chase first. He was disappointed and pained at first but after I told him why, he agreed.

I told him Jeremy liked me from the start, since he first laid eyes on me. As for Chase, we've crossed paths many times and he never spared me a glance, at least not until we discovered we were mates.

Chase bullied me from the start for a reputation that wouldn't last. Jeremy didn't even think about that, he didn't even think it would damage him. Hell, he didn't know he had a reputation at school.

Jeremy didn't try to grab my attention by kissing girls and sleeping with them. He patiently waited for me and respected my thoughts and ideas. And when disagreeing, he would listen to my side of things.

I told him I wanted a real relationship where I wasn't with him because we were destined to be together. I want a relationship where the guy actually likes me for me and not for a pull that can be broken by a simple rejection.

Chase loves me because he has to. He would have never dated me if we weren't mates.

He agreed that our mate pull isn't strong anymore, it kept on weakening everyday since I defeated my uncle. After I explained everything to Chase, he gave me a small smile and I accepted his rejection. And just like that, our pull was gone.

I should have accepted his rejection in the first place. It would have saved me the trouble but a part of me wanted to make him suffer. In the end, it lead me to Jeremy, my family, and my friends.

When he hugged me to say goodbye, the tingles were gone almost completely but there is still a small part of me that cares for him as a friend.

"I can't believe you picked me." Jeremy chuckles lightly and places a soft peck on my forehead. "It feels like a dream."

"But I did and I'm not letting go."

"You better." His voice is playful but his face has no place full expression on it.

"Are you threatening me?" I pout.

His eyes soften up. "No, I was playing I swear." His eyes widen.

The door slams against the wall.

"Oh my gosh! Lily, you won't bel - "

"My eyes!"

"Wow."

"My virgin ears!"

"It's your virgin eyes, Victor!"

I awkwardly bring the covers to my chest and blush furiously.

"She was right, *again*." Megan scowls and glares as Keely and Exel come inside with proud smiles.

"About what?" Jeremy stares at them in annoyance, not bothering to cover his chest.

"Keely said you guys were having s*x. So we bet ten dollars that you were not having s*x since you weren't moaning like a p*rn star." My jaw drops in shock. Megan continues speaking. "Well you clearly were." Megan reluctantly gives Keely a ten dollar bill and sits on my computer chair, sulking.

I glare at them. "We weren't doing that and I do not moan like a porn star."

"Aha!" Megan snatches the ten dollar bill from Keely and shoves it in her pocket.

"Then explain why you're both naked?" Exel raises a brow.

Jeremy smirks. "Actually, we had s*x an hour ago." My jaw drops and I slap his arm.

"Hey!" He pouts and rubs the spot where I hit him.

"Don't tell them what we did!" I grumble and tighten my grip on the blanket.

Suddenly I'm completely naked under the sheets.

Oh Wait, I Am!

"Not like you had to. It smells like it all the way from the hallway." Exel chuckles.

"No!" I place a pillow on top of my head and groan into the pillow.

"I know right! What was it? Anal or Oral?" Victor asks with a grin. I grab a pillow and throw it at him.

Jeremy smirks and opens his mouth.

I quickly slap a hand over his lips. "Open your mouth and I swear I'll rip off your dick and shove it up your ass." He pales at my threat.

"How are you going to have do it then?" Jesse laughs at my reaction.

"Anyway." Keely glares at Jesse. "We have exciting news. It's scream worthy."

I sit up and clutch the blanket to my chest. "About what?"

Keely grins, jumping in her spot in excitement. "Remember how our parents said they didn't want to see you *only* on the holidays?"

I nod at Keely's question. "Mom cried for an hour." I grimace. It was horrible because she wouldn't let go of my arm, she even left a scratch mark on my arm. "What about it?"

"Guess," She whines and shakes me by the shoulders. "It won't be fun if you don't guess." She pulls my arm.

I clutch the blanket tighter in my hands, blushing when it almost slips out my fingers.

"Just tell us, women." Jeremy rolls his eyes and sits up.

Megan pushes Keely into Exel's arm. "The Red Dawn Pack is moving in between out lands!"

"How is that a good idea?" Jeremy tilts his head, confused.

I shrug. "I'm just as confused."

Keely shoves Megan away, jumping in front of me. "It means that we will be within thirty minutes of each other!" Keely jumps in her spot with her palms hitting each other.

"The Royal's aren't that close to us though," Jeremy says, eyes narrowed.

"We own *alot* of land." Keely twirls a strand of hair on her finger.

"Seriously?!" I squeal.

"Yes!" Keely exclaims and tackles me on the bed. Megan joins her.

I laugh, trying to keep the blanket over my chest and shoulders. I'm awkwardly squished between them, naked and trying to breathe. "Help," I choke out.

"You're Killing Her!" Jeremy snaps.

"Am not!" Keely and Megan snap back at him.

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

I start coughing, trying to push Megan's butt out my face.

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!" Axel, Victor, and Jesse join in.

"Am not!"

My eyes twitches just as Keely's hand slaps my face. "Get off, I'm dying!" My voice cracks. They jump off and scowl at the guys. Jeremy pats my back as I cough furiously.

"What's up?" Chase glances from me to Keely and Megan. Alexis enters behind him.

I'm so glad Chase and I can remain friends, it makes it easy to keely my friendship with Brandon, Alexis and Joanne. And Chase, after all, he's been nothing but amazing and supportive of Jeremy and I.

"Crap, why is Lily looking like she's about to cough up a lung?" Chase's eyes widen.

"These fat girls - " Jeremy begins.

"Hey!" Keely and Megan protest angrily.

" - almost killed my girlfriend." Jeremy wraps his arm around my waist.

Chase chuckles and shakes his head, smiling in amusement.

"I missed you guys." Alexis sighs. "Joanne's kind of boring." Alexis whispers. Joanne slaps her arm.

"I did too!" Keely wraps her arms around Alexis.

Megan shrugs. "I didn't."

"Are you here because of the news?" Jeremy rubs his face. "If you are, we heard." He fakes a smile. "Now leave so I can make out with my girlfriend."

I sigh. "Here we go again."

"Ew!"

"Gross!"

"Can I see?"

"Victor!" We groan.

"If Lily wants to." Jeremy glances at me from the side of her eye.

Hell no!

Megan and Keely tackle him again.
