Chapter 32 - Unwanted Opinions

**Lily**

"They look similar... in a way?"

"What way?" I scrunch up my face, acting annoyed.

I still don't know how it happened. I met my twin sister in the woods, she transported us to the Royal's Castle, I had a talk with my birth parents for about forty-five minutes, and now I'm spedning the night in the castle. I don't want to stay here longer than possible, I can't talk with my birth parents without feeling like something is wrong with my universe. I get this feeling that ir won't last and I can't concentrate in talking like myself. So, like I said, I can't spend the night here in the castle any longer.

And now I find myself stuck in a huge spare room with six beds, a locker-type bathroom, and treasure chests at the end of the beds.

"I mean..." Debra taps her chin. "In the way, of like you share the same eyes with your mother and the black hair from your father. Your nose is more like your fathers but it could also be from your mother. Scary, right?" Her eyes sparkle.

I lean back. "Why are you smiling like... that?" She looks scary.

"I just can't believe your luck! You're a princess, you're rich, you can get away with anything once your on the council, and you can enter any territory because you're legally, a Royal." Her laugh turns bitter.

A course of anger hits the bottom pit of my stomach. "What did you say?!" My words make her flinch.

"LIke you aren't thinking the same thing."

"Guys, not now." Alexis hisses, her arms patting down the covers over her body.

"She's talking about me like I'm some type of gold digger!" I take deep breaths, mostly because I know I'm not feeling angry at Debra but at myself. Because for a second, I wished I was Keely and lived in a mansion (more like castle) and had everything she had. And worst of all, I killed her off without thinking about it for a second.

"Because maybe that's what you are." Debra crosses her arms, her face twisted into anger and jealousy. "Don't tell me you haven't thought about what would have happened to you if you were the sick one and not the healthy one?"

"What?" My arms reach out and grab Debra by the collar. I can feel my arms becoming someone elses. The pang in my chest isn't mine but my wolf's.

"You know I'm saying the truth." Her lips turn into a smirk as her hands try to pry my hands off her collar. "And you hurt them too. If you want to be rich - " My arms tighten on her collar. She coughs but continues speaking, "You shouldn't have broken their heart."

I snap. "Did you see how heartbroken they left me?!" The pang becomes bigger. I let go of her collar and take a couple steps back, closing my eyes. Maybe if I think about other things, I won't lose control.

"At least they're trying to get to know you. You *bitch*." Debra takes a step back, her face reminding me of the person I left behind when I left the Red Dawn Pack.

I stare at Debra in disbelief. Joanne drops her ice cream cone, Alexis' eyes turn hard, and Megan growls menacingly. In a quick movement, Debra is being held up against the wall by a growling Megan, her eyes pitch black and her form trembling. I stay still and take in her words.

Was I a *bitch* to my birth parents? No, I wasn't. Or was I? They apologized after dinner, staring at me intensively as if I'd leave them again but I still ignored them and acted like I didn't see them on the dinner table. I didn't mean for it to come out like that, but like I said, it's something that I can't understand at the moment.

So, Debra's right .But I don't know them and they expect me to hug them and forget nothing happened. But all these things are happening that I can't remember them. I need more time. Time to catch my uncle and get answers from him. Maybe I won't get the closure I desire but I think I deserve to at least try.

After all these years of keeping my feelings locked up, I need the release. I've kept the grief and hurt inside my heart and I think it's time to let it out. I just didn't expect for it to make me lose control. It's wrong but that's what all of this is doing to me. It's not their fault but that's a flaw I have to work out. Is it a crime that I don't want to work it out now?

"Apologize to her." Megan is about five seconds from popping Debra out of existence.

I watch in shock as Megan slams Debra against the wall once again. I want to stop Megan but my palms are itching for me do the same. And it doesn't matter who it is.

"What's going on?"

We turn our heads to the direction of the door. Keely is staring at the scene in confusion, eyes shifting towards the door. Surprise fills her eyes when Megan growls and pushes Debra's head to the wall. Debra whimpers. Alexis and Joanne try to pry Megan off by the arms but are unsuccessful.

"Debra?" Chase asks from somewhere outside, panic in his tone. Debra whimpers and the door flys open. Chase jumps inside the room and growls at the sight before him. He stomps towards them and pushes Magan away from Debra, growling. Megan growls back and takes threatening steps towards him.

"What the hell?" It's Jesse who says that.

Jeremy, Victor, Jesse, and Brandon step inside. I roll my eyes and take a peek at Keely, who is already staring at me with wide eyes. I quickly look away and try to focus at the situation in hand. If I look at her longer, I may break again.

"Tell her to apologize to *my* Lily!" Megan snarls this time, her nostrils flaring in anger.

"What did she do!?" Jeremy, Victor, and Jesse boom at the same time, rage forming in their eyes. I rub my face, exhausted by all the commotion that's about to happen. I know them well, they seem to always be prepared for any arguement or fight.

"I was telling her the truth." Debra defends herself shamelessly. She moves closer to Chase and Brandon, who stand guard in front of her. I never knew Chase was protective of Debra. I ignore the small flicker of jealousy that wants to explode.

"She's not a *bitch*!" Alexis fumes, joining Megan's side. I must say, I'm surprised Alexis is taking my side. She's always been a bit outspoken but even I remember her being extremely loyal to Chase and her friends.

"Listen here, *Debra*." Jeremy says her name as if it burns his tongue, "My girl isn't a *bitch*!" Jeremy shouts, his fists clenched at his side. But all it does is make Debra retreat and Chase to growl.

"So I went too far. Can you blame me?" Debra shrugs.

"I think you did." I hiss.

"Well - "

"Shut up!" Victor snarls, his eyes turning black.

I swear they treat me like a child and I appreciate it but sometimes I want to take charge. I can care for myself. I sigh and watch as everyone starts arguing back and forth with each other. I rub my face and bend backwards, my back suddenly aching.

"Are they always like this?" Keely asks, her eyes wide. I glance at Keely and nod, biting my lip. She nods back, eyes fixated on them as Jesse starts to scream profanities. "They're... odd."

"So I've been told." I mumble, feeling the corner of my lips lift. She smiles back, her eyes gazing at my features closely. After a few seconds, I begin to feel awkward and clear my throat.

"Can you... not look at me? It's creepy." I look away.

She giggles. "It's creepy staring at your look alike, huh?"

"Totally." I agree. I smirk when Jeremy flexes his biceps. It's been a while since we've had a date. I think I'm turning... thirsty.

"Maybe you should stop them, your boyfriend looks like he's gonna explode." Keely mutters.

I reluctantly tear my gaze away from Jeremy and take a step closer. I walk in the middle expecting them to shut up or to at least pause. Instead, Victor pushes me to Jesse, who pushes me to Megan, who pushes me to Keely who holds me steady. I feel like one of those tug of war things.

"Cover your eyes." I warn Keely.

"Ok - ay." Keely places both hands on top her eyes.

Here I go.

"Thanks for everything." I mutter awkwardly while keeping my eyes on the clothes Keely lent me. "And thanks for the clothes." I purse my lips.

"Do you need help?" The queen kindly smiles. "You can always give us a call and we'll make sure Keely picks you up. Or you can come back and we'll make sure the knights get you. Or we'll - "

The King pats her arm. "You are all welcome to come back any time. We'll make sure our guards keep a look out for you."

"Thanks." They smile back.

I look at her, my mother. She has a fake smile plastered on her pink lips probably thinking I can't see through it. I look at my father, he's trying to look brave but the dried tears and his slightly slumped form says otherwise. Keely's nibbling on her lip, looking left and right, fumbling with her fingers.

"Keely!"

I snap my head to the source and smile at the sight of Exel, Keely's mate, who's running towards us as if the devil was on his heels. Out the corner of my eye, Keely nervously shuffles on her heels but her eyes are bright. But to everyone's surprise (and mine), Exel halts in front of me and gives me a look full of mixed emotions. I give him a weird look not knowing what to do or say. Didn't he just call for Keely?

Exel grabs my hand. "Keely, baby, I understand now. And I'm sorry for not understanding your decision about looking for your sister." His hands tighten around mine. "I - I really am. I love you and I didn't want you to get hurt but then you left without anyone knowing - not even me." Exel inhales sharply. "I should have listened to you. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I'll look at things from your point of view from now on. I just love you so much." Exel rants looking at me in the eyes, desperation and love swimming in his bright blue eyes. I exchange a look with a smirking Keely and can't help but smirk back at her. It's just so amusing that he's so heartbroken, he can't feel that we share no bond.

"I'm flattered, really, but I can't." I state as I lift my head higher, giving him a grin. He frowns deeply as his eyes begin to swirl in gold flecks and blue. He backs away and blinks, a single tear rolling down his cheek. Great... now I made him cry, I really am *horrible*. From the corner of my eye, the rest are laughing quietly to themselves.

"W - why?" His eyes turn a darker blue. I give him a flat look. Shouldn't he know that I'm not Keely? There are no sparks between our eyes and my friends are right beside me. Is he blind? I wave a hand in front of his face, now genuinely concerned.

"I'm not your mate, I have someone else." I utter, motioning my hands towards my friends and family. Exel just shakes his head, his hands pulling at his hair. I point to Keely, whose talking slow steps toward him.

"Who is he?!" He grits out, looking like he might jump and karate chop me the air. Jesus, he's slower than Victor. I slap my cheek and rub away the stress, should I slap him?

"I don't know ask my 'boyfriend', Exel." I reply sarcastically, raising my hands in the air in fustration.

"Exel? You used to call me X." He growls, fists clenching and unclenching. I give Keely a pleading look, I might just hug him and I don't think Keely would like that right now. Keely nods, eyes shining brightly.

I cross my arms. "Look behind you, genius."

Exel's face scrunches in confusion but he complies and turns his head. Before he can say anything, Keely's lips come in contact with his own. I don't know what his expression is but by the thick lust in the air, I have a pretty good guess.

"Enough." The King orders, his eyes sternly looking at Exel and Keely. Keely blushes but Kxel just looks relieved and happy at the sight of her. I find myself smiling.

*Boom*.

"What the hell is that?!" Brandon shouts.

I exchange an alarmed look with Megan and Jeremy. It sounds like a bomb or a really large gun.

*Boom*.

The floor shakes this time.

"The hell?" I breathe out, feeling the small hairs on my body rise. Other sounds, like gunshots and metal clashing, get louder.

A guy in a blue and white uniform running inside, alarm and panic in his eyes. He bows and begins to speak, "Sorry, my King, we have intruders."

"Get rid of them." The King orders.

"It's the Red Blood Pack, King. They've come in request for the royal throne." He pauses and lets out a breath, looking reluctant to say the next part. "And they've killed about fifty men."

I exchange a look with Jeremy and then turn my gaze back to the Queen. Her eyes are glassy now, regret and panic pouring out in her tears. I can hear her heart beat get louder and louder.

"Wait, did you say - " I pause and then realization hits me in the face.

My *uncle* is here. I bite the inside of my cheek to prevent my curses from exploding. Fury, anger, and all kinds of emotions fill my brain. I clench my fists and feel my body shake from all the fury that can't wait to be released.

"He's a dead man." I grit out, running out the front door, hearing footsteps behind me. I stop at the horrifying sight, almost gagging at the metal smell in the air. Goosebumps arise on my skin.

Blood.

Everywhere.

My eyes watch the scene unfolding in front of me. Werewolves attacking each other in the front yard, just beside the front door to the castle. White werewolves verses black, brown, reddish, tan, and even grey werewolves. The Royals verses the Red Blood Pack. And from the smell, I can tell most of the Red Blood Pack are Rouges.

I've seen a lot and been included in a lot of werewolf wars but this one's different from the others. Not only is the tension more than suffocating but this war includes other werewolves, white werewolves. Royals. And in this war, the man who ruined my life, is somewhere here, fighting for a *stupid* throne.

"Oh hell." Someone whispers. And I couldn't agree more.

War's here and it's a *bitch*.
