Chapter 290 HEATED REUNION
Edeline
His nose brushed against my neck as he yanked the delicate lace from my hips, tearing it away with a primal hunger.
“Percival, the panty ripper,” I thought, breathless.
His lips brushed against my ear, our bare bodies tangled together. His breath came out in strained gasps, and his deep voice caressed my skin. “You are getting ready to kick off your heat.”
I could not hold back; his bare hips pressed against mine, pushing me into the wall, feeling him against my stomach as his lips came down to kiss me again.
Something inside me snapped, and I pushed back against him, putting in some effort to drive him back against the wall next to us. I planted warm kisses down his tattooed chest, licking and savoring the sweet scents that radiated from his skin as I ventured lower.
He picked me up by my waist, his big hands wrapping around me, strong arms reaching behind my knees. In one swift motion, he spun around, slamming my back against the wall once more. This time, he lifted me so that our bodies were at eye level, his bare form pressing against my sensitive petals.
Someone looked me over for a moment while I caught my breath. His eyes were an intense blue—way bluer than any ocean. He was all over me, his lips on mine, our teeth slipping against each other, and I could feel his claws digging into my hips as I leaned into him, wrapping my legs around his back and sliding closer as he growled into my mouth.
Our hands moved eagerly, desperate to explore each other. My claws dug into his back, keeping him close while his mouth brushed against my jaw and neck, finally landing on my mate mark. His hands grabbed my ass, pulling me in even closer.
“Percival,” I gasped, the name slipping out as we lost ourselves in the moment. His teeth grazed my mark, and I let out a howl. My wolf was just beneath my skin, stirring with every touch. His face turned up to the sky, twisted in bliss as he pulled me closer.
He let me go, looking up at me with my blood on his mouth, and it sent a thrill through me. Before I could process it, he lifted me up like I weighed nothing.
We turned into hungry wolves searching for water as our bodies came together, completely uninhibited—bucking, losing ourselves in pure joy. I screamed passionately as he pulled me away, only to slam me against the wall before we came back together again.
The drywall crumbled behind me from how hard he tossed me.
“Percival!” I cried out, holding onto his strong shoulders while his solid arms supported me beneath my thighs, pressing me up against the wall.
I wrapped my arms and legs around him, clinging tight.
He explored every inch of my back, and I could tell he loved that part as he worked his way down. We were on the move—no, maybe it was him moving as I savored his passionate kiss. His arm slipped from my thighs, but I quickly wrapped my legs around him again, unwilling to fall.
He leaned over, and with a quick swipe of his arm, sent everything on his desk flying onto the floor. He plopped me down against the cool wood surface, still inside.
Pulling my arms back from him, I looked into those intense eyes filled with fire as he pushed me down against the cool surface. We had found a new spot on his desk, and his wild, frenzied movements had my muscles tightening. My hands flailed around, knocking a lamp over with a loud crash.
Sounds of thumps, bangs, and bumps echoed in the night.
We were the monsters.
The creature with a double backside.
I fell apart because he did not love me as gently as I had hoped. My body buzzed with excitement while my soul floated, then dropped back down as waves of happiness washed over us.
But he was not done with me yet; he tossed me onto the bed.
We were crazy, completely into it. He showed up for me without a second thought, diving into the depths of my soul. My teeth slipped out, sinking into his chest muscle, claiming him as my own.
A loud growl echoed through the room as he scrambled onto the bed, making his way to the center. He pulled me along, his knees sinking into the soft mattress, blood trickling down his skin from where I bit him.
He leaned down, hovering over me, his eyes wild with desire. He placed frantic kisses on my lips and neck, relishing every moment as if I were his lifeline.
We shared our happiness, and he put me in my place. My wild eyes locked onto his as his hands lifted my arms, sliding along the length of them to intertwine his fingers with mine, pressing my hands into the pillows above me. Kisses mingled with groans and growls, filling the air around us.
His teeth sank into my breast, and I howled, stretching my back as the pain transformed into pure bliss.
I thought this was his way of getting back at me for leaving him.
Taking a day off to rest in bed was just not happening.
He was definitely tough on me.
“Don’t. Leave. Me. Again…” he said through gritted teeth, moving quickly and making my little body go through a whirlwind of sensations.
My screams echoed around the room, and I could feel my throat growing sore before his mouth found my neck, sucking on my skin. Love bites dotted the unmarked side of my neck, a testament to our wild encounter.
“Percival! Chill out!” I gasped, but he just kept going, completely lost in the moment.
He did not catch what I said. Just one night to catch up on six months of separation.
The bed rocked beneath us, thumping against the wall and floor until it finally gave way, the bottom half collapsing as the legs gave out. I could only imagine how everyone in the pack could hear this. I had seen it coming from a mile away.
Something stirred within me, and he released my hands. My nails were growing long again, digging into his shoulders, sending waves of pain through me as I whimpered and moaned, clawing at the flesh of his back.
It was a brawl—a blend of fun and discomfort, driven by instinct and raw energy.
The sweat on our bodies mixed together, creating a sweet smell in the air that made me feel so blissfully happy.
“Edeline,” he said, his eyes closing as he gripped my hips, anchoring us together.
He reached up with one hand to grab the headboard for stability, but it splintered right away under his grip. Wood came crashing down, and I could not help but stare in surprise, my heart racing at the thrill of it all.
That knot in my stomach started to tighten, and then suddenly jerked tighter. I screamed out, my head thrown back in wild abandon, my raspy voice echoing through the room as that knot burst within me. The tension that had held it together fell apart, leaving me completely relaxed and shivering next to him.
His eyes widened, and with one last growl, his teeth sank into my mark again, while mine dug into his.
His hips suddenly paused as we held onto each other for a moment, our teeth locked together in a primal embrace.
Then, without warning, he collapsed, pulling me down with him so I ended up lying on his chest. Our legs got all tangled together, and we both breathed hard, rough around the edges, his chest rising and falling beneath me.
We relaxed in silence, the world outside fading away. I could feel the sting of pain inside as the happiness began to slip away.
He understood the unspoken message, pulling away slowly while I winced, sucking in air through my teeth. His abs tightened beneath me as he looked down at me, concern etched on his face.
“You good?” His deep voice came out a bit rough, eyebrows knitted together. He looked super hot, even in the aftermath of our wild night.
I was not feeling great, but I knew I would get better.
I had no idea it would turn out like this. I did not think our time together could even compare to what we had just experienced.
I frowned and nodded, resting my head against his chest, blood from my deep claw marks soaking the side of my face. I could feel the puncture wounds on my body aching, but I had definitely dealt with worse pain before. I mean, give breaking a femur a shot.
I shifted to the side clumsily, trying not to lie directly on top of him. I rolled onto my back as cramps kicked in.
He leaned over, giving my temple a gentle kiss. “Just chill here for a bit.”
I had no other option. I could not walk at all right now, and I knew my parents would not want to see me like this.
I would totally do it again in a flash.
The bed was a complete wreck—half on the floor, the headboard partially broken, and the white comforter stained with evidence of our reunion. There were two huge Edeline-sized holes in separate walls, drywall scattered everywhere, and papers strewn all over the floor by the desk. A lamp lay broken, a casualty of our wild night.
This was an awesome reunion.
No regrets here!
…
My body was sore, a heavy ache that had me feeling stuck. The bleeding had finally stopped, easing up the pain just a bit. But we really made an impact.
He had really messed things up, and I just went along with it. It was a delightful pain, one that I accepted without question. We had no idea how much it would hurt later on—too deep, a bit harsh, and way too quick. He had used way too much strength.
So good it hurts.
Percival finally got himself together, throwing on some boxer briefs before running a nice warm bath for me. I wanted something that would help me bounce back faster. He poured some fancy oils into the tub, tossing in a bath bomb specially made for wolves. The oils and foam were supposed to help with open wounds.
He gently helped me out of bed, and I winced, doing my best to hide just how much it hurt. Being in his arms made me feel alive, like every part of me buzzed from our skin meeting. Our connection had grown stronger with our titles and all the time we spent apart.
A happy sigh escaped my lips as my cheek rested against his chest, my nose brushing against his neck. I was totally unaware of what I was doing until it was already happening. His body tightened and shook as I leaned in, his hands holding me tighter as he let out a shaky breath.
That smell of his—something that lingered in my mind. I could almost taste it. It was super real and incredibly enjoyable.
“Sorry,” I said softly, my breath brushing against his neck and making him shiver.
He carried me to the jacuzzi tub, filled to the brim with warm, inviting water, and lowered me into its depths. I breathed in sharply as the heat enveloped me.
I kicked back against the tub, feeling bubbly and relaxed while he turned off the faucet, his gaze fixed on me. He was watching me chill out, checking me out like I was the most interesting thing in the world.
“You're really unique, but in a way, you're still kind of the same,” he murmured in his deep voice.
I had a ton of questions bouncing around in my head, but I looked up at Percival through my lashes, feeling shy all of a sudden. My cheeks heated up as I kept stealing glances at him. He stood there, staring at the ground, lost in thought.
We sat in comfortable silence, both of us unsure of what to say next.
Biting my bottom lip, I let my eyes drift over him. Wow, he was really different now compared to six months ago. The muscles in his arms, chest, back, and abs that used to be lean and defined were now incredibly ripped. His skin stretched tight over the bulging, meaty tissue, showcasing his strength.
His jaw had taken on a sharper look. That boyish charm he used to have was gone, replaced by rugged stubble that added to his allure. Those high cheekbones and that look in his eyes—it was all so captivating.
