Chapter 153
Blair quickly adjusted her strategy. Her eyes immediately welled up with tears, her voice choking as she hurried forward a couple of steps. "I heard Bianca got hurt. I was so scared! Bianca, how are you? Does it hurt?"
She cried with seemingly genuine emotion, tears streaming down her face, but her gaze couldn't help drifting toward Terrence with careful admiration, trying to stir even a hint of his sympathy.
Bianca watched her performance, the corner of her mouth curling up almost imperceptibly.
Just as Blair was about to reach the bedside, Bianca suddenly let out a soft hiss, her brow furrowing slightly.
Almost instantly, Terrence turned his head, his eyes locked on her. "What's wrong? Did you pull your wound?"
His voice carried a gentleness he had never shown to Blair.
Bianca leaned toward him naturally, her voice carrying a soft, sweet nasal tone, like a kitten seeking affection. "Mm... it hurts a little. Terrence, I want to eat an orange. Can you peel it for me?"
This obvious display of affection and interruption left Blair's outstretched hand frozen in mid-air, her sob stuck in her throat, her expression both awkward and embarrassed.
Terrence acted as if she didn't exist. Hearing Bianca wanted an orange, he immediately nodded. "Okay."
Then, in front of everyone—including the school administrators and the frozen Blair—Terrence focused intently on peeling the orange.
His fingers were long and clean, his movements unhurried and patient as he carefully removed the peel, then meticulously picked off every strand of white pith.
The entire hospital room fell silent except for the soft sound of him peeling the orange.
The school administrators held their breath, utterly shocked.
This Terrence Anderson, who was ruthless and intimidating in business, was now so patiently and carefully peeling an orange for his wife, right in front of so many outsiders!
This wasn't someone unwilling to go public with his relationship.
This was clearly someone so deeply in love that he was willing to lay all his tenderness and indulgence before her.
Blair's face flushed and paled alternately, the pain of her nails digging into her palms unable to suppress the jealousy and humiliation burning in her heart.
Bianca did this on purpose!
She absolutely did this on purpose!
Soon, Terrence finished peeling the orange and held a crystal-clear, perfectly clean segment to Bianca's lips.
Bianca ate the segment from his hand, her eyes curving slightly. "So sweet."
Only then did a hint of softness touch Terrence's cold features as he offered her another segment.
The natural intimacy flowing between them was like a slap in Blair's face.
Bianca ate the orange slowly, took the wet wipe Terrence handed her to clean her hands, and only then seemed to notice Blair still standing there. She looked up at her.
"Blair, you came at just the right time."
Blair's heart tightened as she forced a smile. "Bianca, you rest and recover. If you need anything, just tell me..."
Bianca interrupted her, her voice clear and resonant in the quiet hospital room. "There are some things I think should be made clear in front of the school administrators and Terrence."
She looked at Barry. "Barry, please show everyone what you found earlier."
"Yes, Mrs. Anderson." Barry stepped forward, took a tablet from his briefcase, operated it skillfully for a moment, then turned the screen toward the vice principal and others.
The screen clearly displayed screenshots of various transaction records, IP tracking analysis of forum posts, and even several screen recordings.
"According to our investigation, Ms. Ember has been spreading false information about Mrs. Bianca Anderson on campus through various channels. The main narrative is slandering Mrs. Anderson as a homewrecker who interfered in someone else's relationship, and suggesting she used improper means to attach herself to Mr. Anderson."
"Specifically: fabricating and spreading intimate photos with Mr. Anderson; anonymously posting in multiple campus groups and forums to guide public opinion against Mrs. Anderson; using her identity as Mrs. Anderson's stepsister to hint to some students that Mrs. Anderson has a 'complicated family background' and 'questionable character.'"
Barry pulled up another file. "Additionally, Ms. Ember is suspected of fabricating high-value transaction records to support her lie about having a close relationship with Mr. Anderson. The records have been retrieved and can prove her receipts were forged."
The vice principal and others looked beyond upset—they stared at the screen showing those terrible comments and forged records, then at the supposed victim who had just been crying pitifully, feeling both absurd and angry.
Blair's face turned ashen, her whole body beginning to tremble uncontrollably.
"No... it's not like that!" she shrieked.
"Those were all people framing me! Someone doesn't like me and deliberately forged them. Bianca, you have to believe me—how could I hurt you?"
She looked at Bianca with tearful eyes, then pleadingly at Terrence. "Terrence, you believe me, I've been wrongly accused."
Bianca watched her performance quietly, letting out a cold laugh. "Blair, from the day you and your mother stepped into the Rodriguez family, you started sowing discord and framing me. Do you need me to list everything one by one?"
"As for being framed..." Bianca looked at Barry.
Barry understood and pulled up an audio file, clicking play.
Blair's voice came through clearly—it was a recording of her plotting with her follower earlier, her tone smug and vicious. "Right, just say it like that. Say Bianca is a mistress, shamelessly clinging to Mr. Anderson. Make her sound as bad as possible. Let's see how she can show her face at school..."
Blair stood frozen as if thunderstruck, all color draining from her face.
The evidence was irrefutable.
The hospital room fell deathly silent.
The recording on the screen continued to play, Blair's smug and vicious voice particularly jarring in the silence.
She stood there stunned, the last trace of color gone from her face, her lips trembling but unable to make a sound.
When Terrence's deep eyes swept over Blair, it was as if she were merely a speck of annoying dust.
"Barry." His voice made everyone present tense up.
"Mr. Anderson." Barry immediately stepped forward, bowing slightly.
"Investigate every forged transaction record and defamatory post thoroughly. Collect all evidence."
"Contact the legal team. File formal lawsuits for defamation, damage to reputation, and incitement to cause harm."
"Also," his gaze turned to the ashen-faced vice principal and others, "security failure at the anniversary celebration—the carpet was tampered with, and no one noticed. The student advisor selection process involved suspected irregularities and abuse of power. I need the school to provide a resolution plan within three hours."
Terrence's voice grew even colder. "If the school's handling doesn't satisfy me, the Anderson Group will reassess all cooperation projects with Ravenswood University, including but not limited to the annual fifty million in research funding and three targeted training programs."
