Chapter 84 Brother, Sister-in-law is Done!
"Isabella losing is inevitable, the outcome was decided long ago. What's there to discuss?"
"She's so pretty, I kind of feel bad seeing her get messed with by those international class people..."
"Who told her to be so full of herself? She brought this on herself!"
These kinds of voices were everywhere along the way.
Violet was furious.
These people had nothing better to do all day than stick their noses in other people's business!
What did this have to do with them? What was there to discuss?
Elizabeth and her friends passed by Isabella, gave them a sideways glance, and laughed mockingly.
Violet frowned, glaring at Elizabeth with eyes practically shooting fire, as if she was about to rush over and tackle Elizabeth to the ground the next second.
Isabella pulled her back. "Alright, alright, stop glaring. Your eyeballs are about to pop out."
Violet looked away, annoyed. "Did you see how smug Elizabeth and her friends looked? Elizabeth has always hated you. She just wants to humiliate you!"
"Have some candy." Isabella held a milk candy up to Violet's face.
She popped one into her own mouth too.
Violet looked at Isabella's calm face and felt like dying.
What should she do?
Could she really just watch Isabella get humiliated without being able to do anything?
"Violet, aren't you going to eat it?"
Aurora stared at the candy in Isabella's hand with bright eyes. "If you don't eat it, I will."
Violet snatched it away and glared at her fiercely. "Don't you dare take it. This is mine."
Aurora: "..."

William was handling business when he suddenly received a call from Sophia.
He learned from the phone call about Isabella's bet with Abigail.
"Bro, your wife is in trouble!"
Sophia said, "Abigail and her group are planning to take photos of Isabella and post them online, so everyone can laugh at her!"
After William asked about the details, he said calmly, "No need to worry."
"Bro, what can you do?"
"I don't need to do anything." William said while reviewing documents. "Isabella will handle it with her own abilities."
"How can she handle it? Whether she honors the bet or not, it's bad for her either way!"
Sophia was so anxious her head was about to explode.
William finally had a wife, and she couldn't just stand by and watch this hard-won Isabella get bullied!
"Remember? I had Joseph tutor her."
"What good is Joseph? Joseph can't raise an 800 to 1200 in half a month!"
William chuckled. "800 isn't Isabella's real score."
"Before school started, the first time Joseph went to see Isabella, he had her do a practice test to assess her level. The result was 1450."
Her grades were actually pretty good.
Joseph was even more surprised than he was. Joseph immediately said, why would she need his teaching?
So the daily tutoring sessions turned into chess games.
Speaking of chess, this was Joseph's nightmare.
Originally he wanted to crush Isabella at chess for fun, but unexpectedly, he lost to Isabella right away.
Then he kept losing to Isabella every day.
After Isabella went to school, the chess games moved from the city library to online.
Online, Joseph still lost.
In short, Joseph had never won. Now he called William every day crying, saying he didn't want to live anymore.
William had to take time out every day to comfort him.
Sophia was shocked. "1450? That high?"
Was she even human?
William's lips curved up, his mood inexplicably good. "Pretty high."
He had a sense of satisfaction, like watching his daughter grow up.
"So, Sophia, you need to work harder. Look at her..."
Sophia hung up directly.
William's face immediately turned cold.

Thursday, the grading room was bustling with activity.
Stellar High School valued efficiency. All the exam papers for the entire grade had to be graded that day, so the results could be printed and distributed to each class on Friday.
At five in the afternoon, Jeremy walked into the grading room with his hands behind his back.
He glanced at the teachers from each subject. "How's the grading going?"
"Everything else is done. Reading and writing is a bit slower, so the international class papers aren't finished yet. Probably another hour."
"So the regular class results are already out?"
"Yes."
"Let me see."
The grading team leader handed over a stack of forms, from Class 1 to Class 12, with class rankings and scores.
Jeremy narrowed his eyes and went straight to Class 11 with clear purpose.
He scanned from the bottom up.
He couldn't find the name he was looking for.
He looked faster and faster, until his eyes reached the top row.
Jeremy's pupils suddenly contracted, staring fixedly at the name "Isabella" at the top of the list.
After a while, he finally looked away from Isabella's name.
Jeremy looked at the grading team leader with a dark expression. "Come here. Look at this score."
The team leader didn't understand but came over to look.
Isabella: Total score 1440.
The team leader's heart jumped.
Such a... high score.
He had only been coordinating earlier and hadn't looked at the scores closely. Seeing this score now, he was shocked.
Teaching at Stellar High School for so many years, he really hadn't seen such an outrageous score.
And Rainey Ward, who had always been first in Class 11, came in second this time, more than thirty points behind Isabella.
Jeremy closed the roster, his expression cold.
If someone said Isabella got this score on her own, he definitely wouldn't believe it.
He had already looked at Isabella's previous transcripts. Her total score was only 800.
Before transferring to Stellar High School, Isabella's school was registered in a poor mountain area, with backward transportation, isolated from the world. Forget about education—people there had trouble even getting food.
Could such a poor place produce a 1440 score?
It was absolutely absurd.
Even if they had Isabella's former middle school teachers take the test, they might not get this score.
"As the grading team leader, you didn't notice such an obviously problematic score?"
The team leader's heart sank.
"Mr. Wright, this exam had two teachers monitoring each exam room, one in front and one in back, with 360-degree surveillance. After the exam, no monitoring teacher reported any student cheating, so..."
Even if he saw this score, he couldn't immediately assume Isabella cheated.
Jeremy's anger flared up. He threw the roster on the table. "So what? You can't figure out such an obvious problem? What's your brain for? 1440 points! Obviously she cheated! This is treating the school's teachers like fools!"
Hearing this, the surrounding grading teachers all stopped what they were doing and looked at Jeremy with some surprise.
"Mr. Wright, what are you saying? A student... cheated on this exam?"
