Chapter 60 I Want to Report Violet
"Why isn't Isabella back yet?"
Aria came out of the bathroom after her shower and glanced at Elizabeth. "Elizabeth, you don't think Wren and the others actually beat Isabella to death, do you?"
Elizabeth frowned when she heard this.
Wren and his crew didn't know when to hold back. Isabella was no match for them. If they really beat her to death or crippled her, things would get messy.
After all, Isabella was part of the Taylor Family.
"I'll send them a message."
Elizabeth's fingers flew across her phone screen.
[Wren, go easy on her. Just grab the watch and that's it.]
After sending the message, it was like throwing a stone into the sea—no response came.
Elizabeth was about to send another message when the dorm door suddenly opened.
Elizabeth and the others immediately looked over.
Isabella walked in from outside, holding a black umbrella.
Elizabeth breathed a sigh of relief.
Isabella wasn't dead.
As long as she wasn't dead, it was fine.
She noticed the watch on Isabella's wrist was indeed gone and figured Wren must have gotten it. She smiled smugly. "Isabella, if you knew it would come to this, why did you do it in the first place?"
Isabella stared at her. "You hired those thugs?"
"Of course!" Elizabeth lifted her chin proudly. "Did you really think I couldn't deal with you?"
Seeing Isabella's face darken, Elizabeth assumed she was still shaken from being threatened by Wren and his crew, still scared!
Seeing Isabella looking so defeated, Aria snorted coldly with contempt and disdain. "Didn't you think you were so great and powerful? No matter how tough you are, can you beat Wren?"
"Look at you all so proud of yourselves. Relying on a few small-time thugs—you seem to think that's something to be proud of?"
Isabella sneered. "It's just using others' power. But mountains crumble and people run away. When you can actually achieve something on your own merit, then you can show off."
Elizabeth's face immediately darkened. She snapped angrily, "You're just jealous that I have backing! Besides, having people help me is also my ability!"
"As for you, you still don't know to keep your head down! I'll teach you a lesson!"
Elizabeth raised her hand to punish Isabella.
She was sure that after being dealt with by Wren, Isabella wouldn't dare fight back.
But the next second, her hand was caught firmly in mid-air.
A force landed on her face, snapping her head to the side.
Elizabeth froze, staring at Isabella in disbelief. "You still dare to hit me?!"
"Of course." Isabella looked at her coldly. "I'll dare to hit you anytime."
With that, she released her hand and pushed Elizabeth to the ground.
Aria was stunned. It took her a while to recover. "Isabella! Are you crazy? Do you want to live or not?"
She actually hit Elizabeth again!
She really didn't know what was good for her.
Looks like Wren's lesson wasn't enough.
Zoey helped Elizabeth up and asked quietly, "Elizabeth, are you okay?"
Elizabeth's bottom hurt from hitting the ground. She cried and shouted, "Bitch, I'll have Wren deal with you."
She crawled over and grabbed her phone, angrily messaging Wren.
[Beat Isabella within an inch of her life tomorrow! Beat her until she can't move!]
Isabella ignored her, turned off the dorm lights, and went to bed.
——
The next day after school, Charles came to Class 11's door to pick up Violet.
Although Charles was in Class 1, almost everyone in Class 11 knew about his relationship with Violet. When the girls saw the tall, handsome Charles waiting at the door with snacks for Violet, they all looked over.
"Violet's boyfriend is so handsome!"
"When will I get a boyfriend like that?"
"I heard Violet and her boyfriend have known each other since childhood, childhood sweethearts. So jealous."
Charles would bring Violet breakfast when she hadn't eaten, help her clean the blackboard when she was on duty, and run alongside her during sports day...
Everyone had seen all this.
"Charles is such a good guy! Violet is so lucky."
"Isabella, Charles is here to pick me up." Violet whispered in Isabella's ear. "I'm going to the bar later. Today's my first official shift. Charles will be with me, so don't worry."
Isabella glanced at Charles outside the window, her expression very unpleasant.
Violet was full of joy, her attention all on Charles. She didn't notice Isabella's mood, packed up her things, and left the classroom.
After most of the class had left, Isabella took a deep breath, got up from her seat, and walked straight to Hannah's office.
Hannah was surprised to see her. "Isabella, what brings you here?"
Isabella looked at Hannah seriously. "Teacher, I need to report that Violet is working part-time singing at a bar after school."
Stellar High School didn't allow students to work part-time jobs off campus.
That's why Violet said the school couldn't find out.
This had reminded Isabella.
Since Violet insisted on going, the school would have to stop her.
If Violet found out, she would definitely hate her.
But she had to do this, because Charles wasn't genuinely interested in learning guitar. He would just spend a few dozen dollars on a fake guitar to fool Violet, then use the rest of the money on games and luxury goods.
Moreover, in her past life, Violet had been sexually harassed at the bar.
Isabella couldn't just stand by and watch. In her past life, when the Taylor Family was on the verge of bankruptcy, she had no money to buy medicine for Jessa. At that time, Violet's HIV status had been exposed, she was completely blacklisted from the entertainment industry and faced various lawsuits. Despite barely being able to take care of herself, she still transferred all the money in her account to Isabella without hesitation...
When Hannah heard Isabella's words, her expression immediately changed. "You're saying... Violet is working part-time at a bar?"
Isabella nodded. "Yes, she's already gone. I know which bar it is. If you don't believe me, you can go see for yourself."
Hannah's face immediately became serious. She quickly asked Isabella for the bar's address and hurried out. "I'll go find Violet right now."
After a few steps, Hannah thought of something and turned back to look at Isabella. "Isabella, don't worry. When I find Violet, I won't tell her you reported this."
A place like a bar was full of all kinds of people. How could a young girl work part-time there?
She knew Isabella had Violet's best interests at heart.
