Chapter 405 Calling the Police
"When I took over Celestial Jewels, it wasn't making any profit at all. That's exactly why Hayden was willing to give Celestial Jewels to me, wasn't it?"
Isabella sneered, "Don't make your actions look so ugly. Now that you see Celestial Jewels doing well and making money, you want to take it back from me? Impossible."
After saying this, Isabella hung up directly.
After hanging up, she turned off her phone.
Olivia stared at the disconnected call, her face immediately turning sour.
"She's rebelling!"
She really didn't expect Isabella to be so disobedient. The Taylor Group was about to go bankrupt, and she was still abroad, not even coming back to take a look.
She just wanted to use a little money from Celestial Jewels' account, and Isabella wouldn't even agree to that?
Was this her good daughter?
"Mom, what do we do if she won't come back?" Kieran couldn't stand seeing Isabella being so heartless. Acting like he and she weren't siblings, weren't family.
He was clearly her third brother, yet Isabella was so cold to him and wouldn't listen to him.
Kieran felt very uncomfortable.
"Yves, call some people over and come with me to Celestial Jewels," Olivia said coldly.
Kieran looked at her in confusion, "Mom, what are you going to do?"
"I'm going to smash up Celestial Jewels. After all, it's our family's own store. I don't believe that after I smash up Celestial Jewels, Isabella still won't come back."
She couldn't tolerate Isabella being so cold to her, as if Isabella had never had her as a mother.
She had to make Isabella come back, had to see Isabella.
Gabriel had just come in from outside when he heard this, and his brow immediately furrowed.
"Mom? What are you talking about?" Gabriel walked over quickly. "What do you mean by sending people to smash up Celestial Jewels? Just because Isabella won't come back? If you smash up the store, who's responsible for the losses? Aren't you afraid of legal consequences?"
"Why would I face legal consequences?" Olivia sneered, "Celestial Jewels was opened by your father in the first place, just temporarily given to Isabella to run. Can't I smash our own family's things?"
Besides, she wouldn't have them smash valuable items; it was just to make a scene for Isabella. She just wanted to force Isabella to come back.
What was Isabella living on abroad? Hayden hadn't given her living expenses, so wasn't Isabella's income from the store's business?
If Celestial Jewels couldn't operate normally, she didn't believe Isabella could stay calm.
"Mom, if you want Isabella to come back, you can talk to her nicely. What kind of thing is smashing up the store?" Gabriel strongly disagreed. "What you're doing is illegal. If you have people smash up Celestial Jewels, Isabella will call the police soon, and the police will come and take you away, believe it or not?"
"She wouldn't dare!" Olivia said with a stern face. "I'm her mother. Would she call the police on me? That's absolutely impossible."
Olivia immediately set off for Celestial Jewels.
Gabriel watched Olivia's back, irritably running his hands through his hair.
He was truly speechless!
——
Olivia felt that Celestial Jewels was Isabella's lifeline.
Without Celestial Jewels, Isabella's source of income would be cut off.
So once something happened to Celestial Jewels, Isabella definitely couldn't just sit by and watch, and would come back soon.
As long as Isabella came back obediently, she would treat Isabella well, make it up to her like a real daughter, and never favor Bianca again.
Olivia brought bodyguards to the entrance of Celestial Jewels. Olivia specifically instructed: "Don't smash the jewelry in the display cases, just smash the store decorations, smash the cheap stuff. If any of you smash valuable items, you'll pay for it yourselves, understand?"
Seeing Olivia arrive with so many bodyguards, Dione was startled and quickly walked over.
She naturally recognized Olivia. After all, no matter what, Celestial Jewels was the Taylor family's business.
"Mrs. Taylor, this is..." Dione was confused, thinking something had happened.
Olivia looked at her coldly, "You should be able to contact Isabella, right?"
"Tell her to come back from abroad immediately, or I'll smash this store."
Dione was stunned.
"What are you standing there for?" Olivia said impatiently. "Hurry up and contact her! Tell her clearly, if she doesn't come back, I'll smash the store!"
"Mrs. Taylor, did you and Ms. Taylor fight?" Dione was still confused. "Whatever conflict you have, you can't joke about smashing the store. After all, it's our own family's store..."
"I don't have time to listen to your nonsense!"
Olivia raised her hand and said directly, "Smash it!"
As soon as she finished speaking, there was a loud crash at the entrance - a bodyguard had kicked over a person-high glass vase with a plant in it.
The store employees were startled by the flying glass shards.
The bodyguards picked up things and started smashing them on the ground, hitting and kicking.
The store's security guards went forward to stop them, and the two sides started fighting.
The scene immediately descended into chaos.
Dione was completely dumbfounded. "What are you doing?"
She turned to Olivia: "Mrs. Taylor, make them stop! We can talk this out. Why destroy our own family's store?"
"I'll say it again," Olivia raised her chin and said coldly, "Get Isabella back here, and I'll have them stop right now."
If it were anyone else, Dione would have called the police.
But Olivia's identity was special - she was Isabella's mother. She couldn't possibly call the police to have the boss's mother arrested.
Dione hurriedly fumbled for her phone to contact Isabella.
The call finally connected.
"Mr. Taylor!" Dione said into the phone, her voice very anxious. "Mr. Taylor, your mother brought a group of people to smash the store. She says you're abroad and wants you to come back immediately. What should I do?"
Dione really couldn't understand - a mother bringing people to smash her own daughter's store, this was the first time she'd encountered such a thing.
She didn't know how to handle it.
"Don't you know how to handle this kind of thing?" Isabella said coldly. "Someone's smashing the store. Why don't you call the police?"
"What?"
Dione was stunned. "Can I call the police?"
"Why not?"
Isabella frowned. "Call the police right now. Tell them someone is robbing our jewelry store."
Saying it was just causing trouble was too light.
Saying it was robbery - that changed the nature of things.
Dione hesitated for a moment. "Should I say it like that?"
"Yes."
"Okay, I'll call the police now."
Since Isabella had spoken, although Dione didn't understand her thinking, she had to do as told.
Olivia saw Dione finish the call and assumed she had conveyed everything to Isabella, so she walked over and said coldly: "Well? Is she ready to come back?"
Dione glanced at her and said nothing.
She turned around and then dialed the emergency number: "Hello, is this the police? This is Celestial Jewels jewelry store. Someone is robbing our store! Please come quickly!"
Olivia's expression changed. "You called the police?"
She couldn't believe it, her voice becoming shrill. "You're crazy? You actually dared to call the police? Don't you know who I am? You dare call the police on me?"
Dione put away her phone and looked at Olivia. "Mrs. Taylor, calling the police was Ms. Taylor's idea. She said this kind of thing should be handled by the police."
"Isabella told you to call the police?" Olivia's eyes widened in disbelief.
"I'm her mother!" Olivia shouted. "I'm her mother! What daughter calls the police on her own mother?"
She really couldn't believe that Isabella had actually called the police on her!
Olivia was furious!
Just then, a stern order came from the entrance:
"Quick, arrest them!"
The police response was incredibly fast.
A group of uniformed police officers appeared at the store entrance. At the lead officer's command, the officers immediately restrained the bodyguards who had been fighting.
Even Olivia was held down by the police.
Olivia was shocked and hadn't reacted yet. "Why are you arresting me? This store is mine. Can't I smash my own store?"
The lead officer looked at her coldly. "You say this store is yours?"
"That's right, this store is my daughter's! My daughter's store is my store!" Olivia said.
