Chapter 35 Isabella Is the Biological Daughter of the Taylor Family
Ryder frowned, "What's wrong?"
Indigo stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Adopting a deceased nanny's child - that's not unheard of, but which family would let a nanny's kid take over their own daughter's room?"
"Dad, would you do that?"
Ryder immediately shook his head. "Of course not!"
That would be completely putting the guest before the host, getting priorities all wrong!
Indigo couldn't help but recall the girl's arrogant demeanor from last night.
"Has she always been this spoiled at the Taylor Family?"
"Yes!" Abigail nodded. "Every time I see her at the Taylor Villa, she acts all high and mighty. I really don't know where she gets the nerve - she's just a nanny's kid, yet she's even more arrogant than Bianca!"
"If you didn't know better, you'd think she was the Taylor Family's daughter!"
"Isabella acts like this, and the Taylor Family doesn't do anything about it?" Indigo asked.
You have to understand, that Olivia wasn't someone to mess with. If that nanny's kid was really that rude and wild, Olivia would have kicked her out long ago. Why would she keep her around to annoy her?
Abigail snorted coldly. "The Taylor Family can't control her at all. She doesn't even respect Mrs. Taylor!"
She had seen Isabella argue with Olivia several times, and each time Olivia ended up red-faced and speechless.
Hearing this, Indigo became more convinced of her suspicion. She turned to Ryder. "Dad, this Isabella - her identity probably isn't that simple."
"She might be Hayden's illegitimate daughter."
Hayden had a sudden realization too.
Illegitimate daughters and sons were common in wealthy families.
The Taylor Family suddenly taking in a nanny's child was strange to begin with. Besides, if Isabella wasn't the Taylor Family's child, how could they tolerate her acting so wild?
"Look into this Isabella," Ryder ordered. "Focus on whether the Taylor Family really had a nanny who died of cancer, and find out where this Isabella came from. What's her real relationship with the Taylor Family?"

The next day, a paternity test report showing that Bianca was not Hayden's biological daughter was delivered to Ryder.
It was dated three months ago.
Coincidentally, Bianca had been injured and hospitalized needing a blood transfusion. That's when the Taylor Family discovered that Bianca's blood type didn't follow hereditary patterns.
Hayden was shocked and immediately did a paternity test, discovering that Bianca wasn't his biological daughter - nor Olivia's biological daughter either.
In short, Bianca had no blood relation to the Taylor Family whatsoever.
Hayden then began investigating the truth. Finally, he confirmed that the baby had been switched at the hospital with another family's child years ago. Through a series of mishaps, the child ended up being adopted by an elderly couple.
And Isabella was that adopted girl, and her birth date and blood type matched perfectly.
So Isabella was brought to the Taylor Family. The elderly couple knew about this.
They were getting on in years and knew the best choice was to return the child to the Taylor Family, to set everything right.
The assistant came before Ryder and said quietly, "Mr. Rodriguez, we sent people to visit them. The elderly couple said the Taylor Family took Isabella back a month ago."
"Isabella is the Taylor Family's biological daughter."
"Bianca is actually the fake one."
Ryder was greatly shocked.
Indigo frowned. "I didn't expect Isabella wasn't even an illegitimate daughter. She's actually Olivia's biological daughter!"
This kind of thing wasn't that rare though.
Some poor families, unwilling to let their children suffer, would switch babies at the hospital to get them into wealthy families - such things happened all the time.
"Dad, we can't just let Bianca get away with this!" Indigo looked sharply at Ryder.
"I've talked with that Bianca a few times. She's a scheming girl!"
The reason Indigo could become Ethan from the Martinez Family's fiancée was because she'd already seen all kinds of women and their dirty tricks - nothing surprised her anymore.
The first time she met Bianca, she could tell she was calculating and good at pleasing people.
It wasn't hard to guess - Isabella returned to the Taylor Family, so Bianca must be uncomfortable. Although the Taylor Family hadn't publicly announced that Isabella was the biological daughter, Bianca knew deep down she was the fake one and could be kicked out anytime, so she was playing dirty tricks.
"Abigail is an idiot who doesn't even know when she's being used. Yesterday she indirectly got me in trouble too," Indigo said coldly. "But this Bianca - she caused the Rodriguez Family to offend the Brown Family with such huge losses, and she gets off scot-free!"
Indigo had never been one to take losses lying down.
Being harmed by some seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl, losing face, and having her family business suffer heavy losses - how could she not hate her?
Indigo's eyes darted around. "Dad, I heard Bianca has an engagement with the Baker Family?"
Ryder nodded. "That's right."
The Baker Family had good standing. For the Rodriguez Family, they were a good match, and the Rodriguez Family had been trying hard to build good relations with the Baker Family.
Bianca and the Baker Family's son had been dating for a while - they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Indigo had heard this from Abigail, though the engagement seemed to have been set only half a year ago.
Indigo laughed coldly. "Dad, what do you think would happen if the Baker Family found out that Bianca isn't the Taylor Family's daughter at all?"
Ryder trembled slightly. "You..."
"Dad, Bianca caused us heavy losses, so we'll make sure she has no peace."
"When the Baker Family and Taylor Family start fighting, we'll just watch the show."
Ryder had been depressed about this disaster from out of nowhere. Hearing her say this, he finally found an outlet for his frustration.
He immediately called over his assistant.
"Buy a trending topic. Post about Bianca and Isabella being switched at the hospital online."

"Bianca! Why did you lie to us?"
Bianca had just finished dinner and returned to her room when she received a call from Abigail.
Abigail launched into a barrage of accusations.
"I treated you as a friend, but what am I to you? You hid something this important from me!"
Bianca looked confused.
"Abigail, what are you talking about?"
"What did I lie to you about? What did I hide from you?"
"Haven't you seen what's online? Everyone's saying you're not the Taylor Family's biological daughter at all, that Isabella is your family's real daughter!"
Bianca froze. "What?"
"What do you mean 'what'? At a time like this you're still playing dumb with me? Do you even consider me a good friend..."
Bianca couldn't hear what Abigail said after that. Her ears were ringing, and her vision nearly went black.
She steadied herself against a chair, hastily hung up, and went straight to the local news feed.
