Chapter 192 Kieran Didn't Recognize It Immediately
"Kieran, I was there. We caught her red-handed. Abigail confessed everything. Bianca really did set this whole thing up."
Hearing Chase's confirmation, Kieran said unhappily, "But that doesn't mean Bianca should have to kneel! Bianca just arranged for a man to violate her. In the end, nothing actually happened to her, right? Is it really necessary to make such a big deal out of this?"
Chase sighed, "Kieran, it's not as minor as you're making it sound."
What Bianca did was truly vicious.
Kieran only cared about Bianca's current situation. "So Bianca was really punished by kneeling?"
Chase nodded, "Yes."
Kieran frowned, somewhat angry. "Kieran, how could you just stand by and watch Bianca kneel?"
"I had no choice." Chase said helplessly. "I didn't want to see Bianca punished either. Tobias even tried to take the punishment for Bianca, but Isabella wouldn't allow it. What could we do?"
Hearing this, Kieran sneered, "She wouldn't allow it? That's ridiculous. Who does she think she is? What right does she have to not allow it? Does she really think she's the daughter of this family? I've only been away for a while, and she dares to bully Bianca like this? What is this? When I get back, she'll be sorry!"
Kieran leaned back in his seat and clenched his fists.
He couldn't even imagine what had happened during this time, how much Bianca had suffered. Just thinking about it made his heart ache.
What should have been a happy birthday, but Bianca was punished by kneeling. She must be feeling terrible.
Thinking of this, Kieran became even more anxious. "Chase, drive faster."
He had to hurry back and rescue Bianca.
Chase glanced at him through the rearview mirror. "Kieran, you've been abroad this whole time. There's a lot you don't know. I'm telling you, when you get back, don't be impulsive, don't..."
Chase considered his words carefully before saying, "Don't provoke Isabella."
Isabella was really not someone Kieran could afford to provoke now.
She had connections with the Brown family and the Parker family. Even Hayden didn't dare confront her anymore, let alone people like them.
Kieran laughed at that. "Chase, have you lost your mind? Telling me not to provoke Isabella? What is she? She's just someone from the countryside. Why should I be afraid of her?"
"Kieran, Isabella is no longer the Isabella you remember. She's changed," Chase said.
Kieran shrugged indifferently. "Changed? How much could she have changed? Now I'm actually curious. I remember the last time I saw her, she was so timid. I walked toward her with a dog, and she actually jumped in fright. So embarrassing."
It was just a pet dog, a tiny one at that.
He had no idea what Isabella was afraid of.
He figured Isabella had just spent too long in the countryside and was ignorant, which was why she was even afraid of a pet dog.
"Plus she had no idea how to dress herself, super ugly..."
Chase couldn't help but interrupt him. "Kieran, don't assume Isabella is still the way she was when you first met her. She's now..."
Chase didn't know what words to use to describe Isabella's transformation.
"What about her now?" Kieran smiled dismissively. "Does she think returning to the Taylor family makes her a princess?"
For the first time, Chase felt speechless toward Kieran. "You'll know when you see her."
——
The car arrived at the entrance of the Taylor Villa.
Before Chase could even park properly, Kieran impatiently got out of the car.
"Kieran, when you see Bianca, don't get excited. Don't rush to confront Isabella."
Before Chase could finish speaking, Kieran was already rushing toward the house.
From a distance, he saw Bianca kneeling at the entrance. His heart tightened, and he quickly ran over. "Bianca!"
Hearing Kieran's voice, Bianca turned around in disbelief and saw Kieran.
She immediately burst into tears. "Kieran!"
Seeing her like this, Kieran's heart nearly broke. He reached out to pull her up from the ground. "Why are you kneeling here so late? Get up quickly. I'm back now. No matter what happens, I'll protect you. I will never stand by and watch Isabella bully you."
Bianca refused to get up from the ground. She didn't have the courage.
"Kieran, I... I can't get up. Dad... Dad made me kneel here to reflect."
"Reflect on what? Because of Isabella?" Kieran was very angry. "Has Dad gone crazy? Making you kneel here for a daughter who grew up outside?"
Kieran stormed off to find Hayden.
"Kieran, it's no use. Don't go looking for Dad." Bianca had already witnessed Hayden's cold-heartedness. She knew Hayden would never relent.
She grabbed Kieran and sobbed, "Sister said either she leaves or I kneel. Dad had no choice."
"Then let her leave!" Kieran said angrily. "She should have left this family in the first place!"
Kieran went straight upstairs.
He strode to the door of the storage room where Isabella used to live and pounded on the door.
"Isabella, come out!"
No response from inside.
Kieran kicked the door. "Isabella, don't play dead with me. I know you're not asleep. Come out! Who gave you the nerve to bully Bianca when I'm not around? Do you really think this is your home?"
Isabella was lying on a spacious, soft bed, just about to sleep when she heard Kieran's voice from outside, accompanied by the sound of pounding on the door.
Of course, he wasn't pounding on her current door, but the sound was loud enough that she could hear it clearly from here.
Kieran was still kicking and pounding the door.
"Isabella! Come out!"
"What do you think you are? How dare you make Bianca kneel!"
"You're just an outsider. Do you really think coming back here makes you a princess? And you dare bully Bianca? You're asking for it!"
"If you've got guts, come out."
The sound of a door opening came from behind Kieran.
Kieran turned around and saw the door to the adjacent room open.
Kieran froze.
Wasn't this Bianca's room?
Isabella walked out from inside, wearing pajamas, looking relaxed, her gaze toward Kieran indifferent and cold.
"You're looking for me?"
Kieran stared blankly at Isabella walking out of the room.
Isabella had fair skin, smooth long hair casually draped over her shoulders, her brows slightly furrowed, and her beautiful eyes filled with impatience.
This was...
Isabella?
Kieran almost didn't recognize her.
It was just that Isabella's demeanor was so different from before, nothing like what he'd seen the first time they met. Instead, he saw in Isabella the kind of grace that only socialites possessed.
