Chapter 127: Truly Tempting
Natasha sneered, "Of course it'll just blow over."
"Even though Uncle Henry threatened to cut off our allowance, it's just a threat. Dad said to let Uncle Henry withhold it for two months, and once things die down, we'll bring up the allowance again. I don't believe he can keep refusing."
"When Grandpa passed away, he made Uncle Henry promise over and over to take good care of our family. Plus, Grandma's still alive, and she won't just stand by and watch Helena push us around."
"Will that really work?"
Although this plan was pretty low, honestly, I was kind of tempted.
I had seen the power struggle between Helena and Rosalind in the hospital room.
But Helena didn't take Rosalind seriously back then, so now with so much money involved, how could she possibly just go along with it?
Seeing that I was interested, Natasha worked even harder to convince me.
"You don't know my grandma. She absolutely hates Helena. As long as I tell her you're my boyfriend—though it'd be even better if we could get engaged or married. If that happened, Grandma would protect you even more."
"If Grandma steps in, even if Helena doesn't listen, Uncle Henry definitely will. He's well-known for being obedient to my grandma. He won't go against her."
After hearing this, I was definitely tempted.
But I also knew what Natasha was after—she just wanted to use this chance to marry me. There was no way I'd marry her.
But pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend? That could work.
With that in mind, I agreed right away, "Alright, let's find a time. I'll bring gifts and visit your father myself."
As soon as I said this, Natasha lit up with joy.
She pressed her body tightly against mine and wiggled a few times.
"Knox, when can I come visit your family?"
I frowned slightly. Natasha was consistently foolish as always!
So many people had their eyes on our family right now. If there was even the slightest commotion, who knows what rumors would spread?
Besides, my parents would never agree to let Natasha marry me.
Since I had no intention of marrying her, why would I bring her home?
She might be stupid, but she had one good quality—she was devoted to me, and more importantly, she had no problem screwing over her own family.
Since she could be useful to me for now, I naturally had to sweet-talk her and go along with her wishes.
I pulled her close and roughly groped her chest a few times.
"Don't worry, soon. After I visit your family, I'll arrange for our parents to have dinner together."
"Really?"
With just one sentence, I had Natasha all smiles with joy.
She planted a hard kiss on my cheek.
"Knox, you said it yourself. From now on, you can't be with other women anymore. From now on, whether in your heart or by your side, there can only be me."
"Okay, okay, I'll listen to you. I'll do whatever you say, alright?"
As I spoke, I pushed her down on the couch and climbed on top of her.
"I'm not done talking yet."
I ignored Natasha's resistance and ripped the buttons off her blouse.
I took her nipple in my mouth. "Go ahead, I'm listening."
After letting out a moan, Natasha said, "I want you to fire Lucy."
Her words were like a bucket of cold water dumped on my head.
My desire instantly cooled quite a bit. She actually knew about Lucy.
My hands didn't stop moving over her body as I spoke evasively, trying to gloss over the matter.
"She's just an employee. Why are you bothering with her?"
Then I bit down hard.
The sudden pain made Natasha's body arch up, and she let out a series of screams.
"Knox, you dare bite me! I'm going to bite you back!"
Then the room filled with obscene sounds.
I don't know how much time passed before there was a knock on the office door.
"Mr. Pemberton, you have a meeting at five o'clock this afternoon. Don't be late."
Hearing Lucy's voice outside the door brought me back to my senses. I patted Natasha's naked butt as she lay on the couch. "Baby, let's take a shower together."
Without waiting for her response, I carried her to the bathroom in the inner room. Water from the shower head poured down on Natasha's head, and she let out another scream.
"What are you doing? I was so tired just now, I wanted to sleep."
She leaned into my arms and rubbed against me.
Seeing this, I had to patiently coax her, "Come on, be good. I have to go to a meeting in a bit. You don't want me to have a bad reputation at the company, do you?"
Hearing me say this, Natasha pouted reluctantly but cleaned herself up and changed clothes.
She plopped down on the couch. "Then I'll wait for you to come back."
Seeing that she still wouldn't leave, I frowned slightly and suppressed my anger. "Be good. Did you forget about me visiting your family? Go back and tell your father first. It'd be best if I could meet your grandma that day too."
Hearing this, Natasha finally broke into a smile. "Then it's settled. I'll go back and tell Dad first, and I'll call you later."
I nodded. "Okay, hurry and go. I'll wait for your call."
Only then did she happily leave.
After she left, Lucy walked in with a stack of documents and silently placed them on my desk.
After doing this, she turned to leave without a word.
I quickly pulled her into my arms and kissed her ear lightly.
"What's wrong, jealous?"
Lucy squirmed uncomfortably. "How would I dare be jealous of your future wife?"
"You're saying one thing and thinking another. What future wife? I never admitted that."
I smiled and tapped her nose.
"She's just a difficult woman. If I don't keep her happy, who knows what trouble she'll cause. She's just useful to me, that's all. Don't take it to heart."
"How would I dare?"
Lucy tried to get up, but I held her down firmly so she couldn't move.
Seeing her stop struggling, I cupped her face and kissed her passionately.
I kissed her until her cheeks were flushed red before finally letting her go.
Watching her shy expression, my heart stirred, and my penis started acting up again.
"Lucy, if I didn't have a meeting coming up, I'd have sex with you right now."
"Mr. Pemberton, you should show some restraint."
Lucy pouted in dissatisfaction. "The noise from your office just now was so loud it could be heard outside."
"You can't blame me for that. Natasha wanted it. She doesn't satisfy me like you do."
I kissed her cheek a few more times. "Just wait, tonight I'll take you out for some fun."
Hearing this, her face turned red as she pushed me away and stood up, smoothing out her skirt. "Mr. Pemberton, you should get ready. The meeting's about to start."
The business suit looked so good on her, showing off her straight, firm figure. It made my blood boil.
So tempting.
