Chapter 14 Upgrade!

Chapter 14 Upgrade!
When Mira arrived in the garden, Luna Rosie was already waiting for her, smiling devilishly.
“Let’s talk inside the gazebo. Follow me,” Mira ordered.
“Copy Luna,” Luna Rosie sneered, mocking her.
The women entered the gazebo and settled on the sofa, facing each other.
Mira met Luna Rosie’s gaze and sighed. “Now that you have got hold of your phone, what are you planning to do? Are you going to send a message to your husband and reveal our soul switch? I have to remind you that he is going to war with his brothers to subdue the rogue rebels attacking the Silent Ridge Pack. He can’t be distracted by other things or else he will return home in a coffin,” she said, observing her face.
Luna Rosie’s face suddenly softens. “No. As much as I wanted to, I wouldn't do it. Now that my husband is going to war I will not reveal the truth. But once he returns home safe and sound I will definitely reveal your evil scheme!”
Mira took a deep breath. She didn't want to explain herself again to this stubborn woman because she wouldn't listen to whatever she told her. “Alright then, just do it. I will face you head on,” she finally said, readying herself for the inevitable. She sighed inwardly. Sebastian is powerful. If only he was willing to help her, maybe she has a chance of winning against Luna Rosie.
“You pretend that you have lost your memory. You are lying! You are a pathetic liar!” Luna Rosie insulted her again.
Mira sighed and ignored her insults. She was tired of arguing with her. “If you win and Alpha Gideon believes your claims, what are your plans for me? Let me remind you that in this world no one is powerful enough to undo the soul switch, which means I will be inhabiting your body for as long as I can and you will stay in my body for a long time. Unless you can find the one who can switch back our souls...”
“My husband and the royal family will find a way to rectify the situation and once I’m back in my body, I will have you punished severely. I will throw you into a dungeon to never see the light of day ever again. That is your punishment for stealing my life!” Luna Rosie hissed, her nostrils flaring in anger.
Mira watched Luna Rosie’s face calmly. “You are too cruel, Luna Rosie,” she commented with a sigh.
Luna Rosie smirked. “You deserve my hatred because you stole my life!”
Mira was about to tell her that it was not her fault in the first place, but it was useless. She could only bite her lower lip out of frustration because Luna Rosie had already painted her as the bad guy. She shifted her attention to the blooming flowers surrounding the gazebo, trying to gather her scattered wits.
“Your undies are worn out, horrible and disgusting. I need my undies!” Luna Rosie blurted out. “I hate wearing your cheap clothes. They are dirty and smell really bad! And your bed in the servants' quarters is so dirty. So yucky!” she added. Her nose twitched in distaste.
Mira suddenly laughed amused by the wealthy woman’s reaction to her meager clothes and belongings.
“What are you laughing at?” Luna Rosie asked, annoyed.
“I’m amused because you are not used to living the life of a servant so your whining is normal. I fully understand your reaction,” Mira explained, laughing softly.
Luna Rosie shoots daggers into Mira’s eyes. “Stop laughing or I will dig your eyes out of their sockets!"
Mira laughed even more. “Wow, savage! But let me remind you that it is your body that you are trying to hurt. Besides, if you do that, your unborn child will frown at the viciousness of her biological mother. Your baby will not be proud of you when she grows up. So I advise you to restrain yourself from nurturing murderous intentions in your mind. Whatever evil things you are planning in your mind for me, your body will be the receiver of your brutality. So think twice about hurting me. Do you understand?"
Luna Rosie was livid with anger. “Your annoying attitude irritates me. How can you, a mere servant act like you are above me? What kind of black magic have you done to me?”
Mira sighed. “I repeat, I don’t know black magic. I’m just a pathetic servant. I died in my bed miserably and woke up in your body. I told you the truth several times but you refused to believe me. It’s not my problem anymore.”
Luna Rosie glared. “I refuse to believe your innocent claim that you didn't do anything to inhabit my body. You have done something evil to me. You snatched my soul and planted it in your body so you can get my body for your own personal gain. That’s what you did—I’m sure of it!” she said accusingly.
Sigh. ‘It’s no use having a sensible conversation with this woman,’ Mira thought to herself.
“How long will the war go on?” Luna Rosie suddenly asked.
“Alpha Gideon told me the war would probably last for two weeks but it could go on much longer. The outcome of the war is unpredictable," Mira responded grimly, fearing for her husband’s safety.
Luna Rosie fell into deep thoughts for a few minutes. She wanted to stay in the mansion because it’s much cleaner there, the food is delicious and she is closer to her husband. “I want an upgrade!” she demanded.
Mira raised a brow. “Huh? What upgrades are you talking about?”
“I can’t stay in the servants' quarters anymore. I hate it there. There is dirt and mold everywhere. That place is full of shit!” Luna Rosie ranted.
Mira snorted. “Now you see what I see every day. With all your wealth you have failed to improve the lives of the servants who are serving you. That old structure should be destroyed and a new servants' quarter should be erected to improve the lives of the servants living there. You haven’t thought about it because you don’t care about their lives at all!”
“Before you scold me, I have to remind you that the servants' well-being is not my responsibility. Go blame the royal couple, not me!" Luna Rosie yelled angrily.
“OK, fine. Now that I'm Luna, I will suggest to the Luna Queen to renovate the servant quarters at the back of the mansion,” Mira said casually.
“I don’t care about the renovation. I have no plans of staying there any longer!” Luna Rosie declared. “But there is one thing you can do for me to improve my living condition,” she said mischievously.
“What do you want?” Mira asked, wondering what this spoiled woman was thinking in her mind right now.
“Kick Lena out and promote me as your personal maid. Do it ASAP!” Luna Rosie ordered authoritatively.
“Whaaat?” Mira’s eyes widened in shock, surprised by such an outrageous demand.
