Chapter 195 Suddenly Gained a Teacher

Chapter 195 Suddenly Gained a Teacher

"Getting someone out of there is no easy task. How do you plan to convince me?"

Knox looked at Bianca with a smirk.

Bianca bit her lip, looking both humiliated and stubborn. After what seemed like an eternity of internal struggle, she finally made up her mind.

"I don't have much to offer besides my skills in drawing and design. And myself."

She met Knox's gaze, her eyes resolute.

Knox sized her up like he was appraising a piece of art.

"Look, the one thing I don't lack is women."

The implication was clear: she wasn't good enough.

Bianca's eyes filled with tears of humiliation. "When I said 'myself,' I meant my medical skills. I know massage techniques, acupressure points, and wellness practices. I can help you stay healthy. What do you take me for? I've never considered selling myself!"

Knox chuckled, clearly amused. "Isn't that a bit contradictory? You say you'd do anything for Hayden, but now you're all virtuous. My time is valuable; I don't have time for games!"

He motioned to call the waiter to escort her out.

Bianca panicked.

She clenched her fists, making up her mind. "Fine, for Hayden, if you want my body, I'll accept it! Just promise me you'll save Hayden."

Knox gave her a long, appraising look. "Alright."

Bianca's heart leaped with joy.

She knew that with men, she could always get what she wanted if she tried hard enough.

Emily might have skills, but any man who liked her would eventually be hers.

If she could handle Knox, maybe she could try her luck with Daniel as well.

As she thought this, she started planning in her mind.

Little did she know that even her slightest expression didn't escape Knox's notice.

Knox smirked internally. Bianca couldn't hold a candle to Emily. The Johnson family must be blind.

"Go back for now. I'll arrange a meeting later for you to sign a contract. Once you do, I'll save Hayden."

"A contract?"

Bianca frowned, her voice sharp.

"What? You don't want to? You just said you'd give yourself to me for Hayden. Changing your mind already? Are you playing with me?"

Knox looked ready to get angry.

Bianca didn't want to fail. She thought of those novels where the heroine sold herself to the hero for her family's sake, leading to a love-hate relationship.

She would slowly win his heart.

"No, I agree. I was just surprised about the contract."

"Good."

Knox waved her off, signaling her to leave.

His gaze impatiently drifted towards Emily's private room.

Inside the room, the dishes had been cleared.

A few people had moved to the lounge area, where Emily was discussing the integration of embroidery and fashion with the master embroiderer Carl Ward.

"It's rare to find young people like you with such patience, interest, and talent. If you want to learn, come to my shop. I'll personally teach you."

Carl valued tradition deeply.

But this craft required both talent and the ability to endure hardships, which was difficult in today's fast-paced society.

Finding a promising student, Carl didn't want to miss the opportunity.

Emily was a bit overwhelmed and leaned closer to Daniel, whispering, "Mr. Ward isn't just offering to teach me because of you, right? I love this, but I didn't expect to find a teacher."

Just being able to learn was a great honor for her.

Due to her frequent contact with herbs, Emily had a faint herbal scent. As she leaned closer, her warm breath tickled Daniel's ear, sending a shiver down his spine.

Her subtle herbal fragrance was refreshing, making his heart race.

He suppressed his feelings and replied in a deep, husky voice, "It's not because of me. Your talent has made Carl eager to teach. Don't underestimate yourself."

Emily felt reassured by Daniel's sincere gaze.

She smiled at Carl, "I'm thrilled to become your student. I'm eager to learn and hope you won't find me too slow!"

Emily said humbly.

"Don't worry. I trust you, and I trust my judgment. As my first student, I have a gift for you."

Carl said.

Daniel's eyes immediately turned to Carl. He feared Carl might give Emily the gift he had prepared for her.

He wanted to maintain the surprise and felt it wasn't the right time, so he was nervous.

Knowing Carl's respect for tradition, it was unlikely he would do such a thing.

Fortunately, he didn't voice his concern.

Carl soon had someone bring a measuring tape to take Emily's measurements.

"Mr. Ward, you..."

Emily had a vague idea.

"With your excellent demeanor and figure, you can truly showcase the beauty of clothing. It shouldn't be wasted."

Carl said with a smile.

His handmade clothes, including the embroidery, were crafted with care.

Even Daniel, who was used to seeing the best, was delighted by Carl's decision.

Emily gained a lot from the conversation.

So, as she left with Daniel and the others, she couldn't stop smiling.

Daniel rarely saw Emily so genuinely happy and unguarded.

Seeing her this joyful, he felt he had made the right decision.

Emily was so happy she completely forgot about Knox.

She walked past Knox, chatting and laughing with Daniel.

Walked right past him!

Knox was about to greet her, but she ignored him.

Daniel was glad Emily overlooked Knox and certainly wouldn't remind her.

But Charles, feeling a bit sorry for Knox, couldn't help but speak up.

"Emily, did you forget something?"
