Chapter 336 Chapter 336 How much do you want? Name your price.

The surveillance footage played frame by frame until, finally, on the afternoon of the 17th, Myrtle Stevens appeared on screen. She was dressed in a black coat and wore an oversized, flashy hat, her face obscured by a mask.
However, Eileen Stevens recognized the bag she was carrying—it was a gift from Caelan Cooper, something Myrtle took with her everywhere.
Myrtle was cautious, likely afraid of being caught on camera. She kept her head down but nervously glanced around, as if waiting for someone.
A man stepped out of the elevator to meet her, allowing Myrtle to bypass the check-in process. She didn’t even have to remove her mask before heading straight up to the room.
Eileen pointed at the man on the screen and said, "Have Zavier Harding find out who this guy is. Myrtle is so picky; she wouldn’t just pick anyone."
Zavier Harding quickly sent back news that left Eileen stunned. "What? A male escort?"
Zavier reported in a serious tone, "Yes, he works as a male escort at a nightclub called 'Drunken Dreams.' I've already sent someone to bring him to Lynx for a paternity test."
Eileen Stevens and Niles Hawke immediately drove to Gaylen Hospital. When they entered the office, Lynx Black was sitting across from the man, looking troubled as he asked, "So you used to date Tara? Are you sure?"

Eileen leaned in and whispered, "Who’s Tara?"
Niles cleared his throat and replied, "She’s a model who used to date Lynx Black."
Eileen's mouth dropped open. "So, Lynx Black shared a girlfriend with a male escort?"
Lynx, overhearing this, shouted, "She’s not my girlfriend! No way! I’m not that blind!"
Eileen stifled a laugh as she walked in and asked, "So, what’s the result? Is it out yet?"
Lynx rolled his eyes and replied, "No! Just wait!"
Niles Hawke shot him a glance and said, "If you’re upset, go complain to Tara. Don’t yell at my people."
Lynx Black looked miserable. "What kind of bad luck is this? I swear I won’t touch a woman for six months!"
Niles scoffed, "You’ve made that vow before, haven’t you?"
Eileen Stevens ignored the bickering men and turned her attention to the public relations guy, who looked both confused and a bit scared. He seemed intimidated by Zavier Harding's presence and was sitting quietly.
Eileen Stevens asked, "What’s your name?"
The man shrank back slightly and replied, "Cheng... Cheng Ze."
Eileen raised an eyebrow, "What did you say?"
"Cheng Ze."

"Look up."
He lifted his gaze to meet Eileen's, and even in his nervous state, there was a flicker of admiration in his eyes.
Niles Hawke caught that unusual glint and said coldly, "Keep your eyes to yourself!"
The man immediately dropped his head again, but Eileen had already noticed. She remarked, "No wonder Myrtle Stevens is interested in you. Not only does your name resemble Caelan Cooper's, but you look a lot like him too!"
She pulled out a photo and handed it over, asking, "Do you recognize him?"
Cheng Ze glanced at it, nervously shook his head, and stammered, "N... no, I don’t know him..."
Eileen Stevens smirked, "If you tell me, she won’t do anything to you. But if you don’t, I can’t guarantee my people won’t take action."
Just the thought of Zavier Harding and his group of men storming into the nightclub and dragging him away sent chills down Chengze's spine. He couldn't shake the feeling that it might be related to one of the women he had previously served, perhaps caught by her husband, which had led to him being dragged into this mess.
Eileen Stevens pulled out a chair and sat down, saying, "So, tell me what happened."
Chengze spoke in a low voice, "About two months ago, she came to find me, saying she wanted to hire me for... you know, those kinds of things. We met a few times at the Lehai Hotel, which she chose, but there was something strange about her..."
Eileen Stevens asked, "What was strange?"
"She didn't use any protection," Chengze replied. "Even women looking for fun are usually careful, but she wasn't. Plus, she always smelled like medication and had a terrible temper. If it weren't for the money she paid, I really wouldn't want to deal with her."
Eileen Stevens understood now; she was starting to piece things together. She asked, "Do you have any photos? A phone number? Any information that could prove she contacted you?"
Chengze shook his head. "She was very careful. Every time she contacted me, it was through a landline, and she would set a time and place for me to meet her at a hotel. But..."
"But what?" Eileen Stevens pressed.
Chengze hesitated, glancing nervously at Niles Hawke and then at Lynx Black. "She was really odd. I’m afraid she might be cheating on her husband, and if he finds out, he might come after me, so I kept some evidence."
Eileen Stevens's eyes lit up. "What kind of evidence?"
Chengze lowered his head and fell silent. No matter what Eileen Stevens asked next, he refused to speak.
Lynx Black looked confused. "What does this silence mean?"
Eileen Stevens quickly pieced it together. "I see. How much do you want? Name your price."

Chengze finally looked up, slowly extending two fingers and tentatively saying, "Two hundred thousand?"
Eileen Stevens narrowed her eyes. "Are you trying to extort me? You haven't seen anything yet, and you're already asking for two hundred thousand?"
Chengze replied quietly, "I saw you on TV. You're that famous actress's manager. You have money to spare..."
Eileen was momentarily speechless. "Just because I have money doesn't mean I throw it around!"
Niles Hawke spoke up in a deep voice, "One hundred thousand."
His intimidating presence made Chengze fear that if he pushed for more, he might end up in serious trouble. He quickly agreed.
He pulled a small USB drive from his pocket and said, "I have the video. It’s enough to prove it."
Lynx Black clicked his tongue. "Who said that a woman's heart is the most dangerous? Look at this guy; he's ruthless too."
Eileen took the USB from him, while Niles instructed Zavier Harding to take Chengze away.
Just then, a nurse rushed in with the test results. "Director, the identification results are out."
Lynx Black glanced at the report and handed it to Eileen. "Here, just as you both expected, not a single detail off."
Looking at the small print on the report, Eileen smirked slightly. "If she comes looking for trouble, I won't hold back."

No sooner had she spoken than her phone rang.
She glanced at the caller ID and saw it was the landline for the Stevens Family. She answered, "Hello?"
"Eileen, it's me." The old man's voice came through, weary and aged.
Eileen Stevens was taken aback; she hadn't expected a call from her grandfather. "Is there something you need, Grandpa?" she asked.
There was a long silence on the other end before he sighed deeply. "Eileen, you should come home. Things have gotten out of hand, and everyone is waiting for you."
Eileen let out a cold laugh. "Waiting to judge me, you mean?"
Her grandfather sighed again. "Eileen, when you make mistakes, you have to face the consequences. This time, I can't protect you."
A sharp glint flashed in Eileen's eyes as she replied coldly, "Fine, Grandpa, just wait. I’m coming home— to face the consequences!"
