“I can help you,” Ivanna said as she nodded her head, stunning everyone as they never expected her to say that.

“But on one condition,” Ivanna added, making the smile that was on Mr Baker's face freeze.

“Tell me,” he said as he really hoped that he was saved.

“You ruin your daughter’s face and make her a cripple,” she said coldly, and the atmosphere froze.

To all, Ivanna was always the softhearted, thus when they heard those words, they were stunned and unable to react.

Mr Baker looked at Fiona and looked stressed. That was his daughter, Ivanna was talking about.

“No way! I won’t let you harm my daughter. Old man, let me tell you, if you agree to her words, then you will have to go through me!” She shouted sharply as she glared at Ivanna and Mr Baker.

When she saw how hesitant Mr Baker was, she sneered. She felt that she had been naïve. She always believed that it was all because of the benefits the latter brought to him, but at this moment, it was obvious that he really loved his daughter.

In her previous life, Fiona had ruined her face after she had gone outside with heavy makeup. Fiona panicked and felt that she would still her spotlight. She had taken a knife and ruined her face. After that, it was thought that she had not done a great job and was immediately ordered to pour sulphuric acid on her. That ruined all her hopes of getting her face treated. They had locked her up in the room. However, how could she give up easily? She tried to escape, but she was caught. Her legs were broken before being through in that small room. She had been engulfed by depression and wanted to end her life. However, she didn’t know why, but every time she had some hopes of living and taking her revenge, she started plotting. She stole a phone from a maid who had come to bring her leftovers and called one of the maids who had always been kind to her. She knew that even if she ran away, they would still find her with all the connections; thus, she just requested the woman to send some things to her room.

Soon, she started learning designs. The maid who had been given the duty to always bring her food found the papers and informed the family. They saw that she had some good use. They would take the designs she had drawn and use them under Fiona’s name. One day, Fiona went to a design competition; she wanted to use that chance to ruin Fiona’s image and get out of the family. When Fiona took that design she was going to present, she added some invisible words and a signature of her name, where she currently was.

Who knew that one of their people would discover it?

The man in front of her always pretended to love her, but it seemed that he didn’t.

Mr Baker lowered his eyes and had a glint in his eyes. To him, he owed Fiona too much. Though he didn’t think too highly of her, that didn’t mean that he didn’t treasure his daughter. When he heard Ivanna’s words, he was shocked, filled with regret, thinking that she was a good child. It was so obvious that she had a dark heart. At this moment, he didn’t even believe what they had said about Fiona causing trouble for them. To him, they had obviously stabbed his daughter cause they wanted to! To show off their power.

He didn’t want Ivanna’s help anymore. He felt that with the money he had saved, it was enough for the siblings to live their lives in the future.

Just as he was about to say his decision, Fiona stood up, with a limping leg, and walked towards Ivanna. No one thought that she would do anything, as she was in pain, so they weren’t on guard against her.

Mrs Bakers, on the other hand, had already felt that the girl who resembled Ivanna was the biggest bother. Also, she had whispered, asking Fiona who had stabbed her, and Fiona had pointed at the latter. She was filled with hatred. She immediately took a bottle of wine that had been on the table and ran towards Isley.

All this happened suddenly, cause everyone’s eyes were on Fiona wanting to see what she wanted to do, they didn’t notice what was happening on the other end. However, Isley and Mr Alessandro were alert. The moment Mrs Bakers lifted the bottle to knock it on Isley’s head, a sound of gunfire was heard, startling everyone, and they looked over.

Fiona also turned. She was in disbelief when she saw what had happened. When she saw the broken bottle on the ground and how close her mother was to Isley, she immediately understood everything. She didn’t know what to say or think.

Nonetheless, a sudden idea clouded her mind. ‘Since you killed my mother, someone must accompany her!’

She suddenly hugged Ivanna and stabbed her with a knife she had taken when a waiter was passing by as she was being dragged into the room. No one had noticed that she was hiding something. When Isley stabbed her, she had been caught off guard and couldn’t react to it.

Ivanna was stunned when she felt something piercing her heart and the sudden hug. Fiona had taken the chance when everyone was concentrating on her mother and was asking questions to stab her.

Ivanna opened her mouth to speak, and Fiona took out the knife and stabbed her once more. Ivanna held the person who was close to her, as she was afraid that if she opened her mouth, Fiona would continue with that.

“Ivanna!” Floyd shouted when he realized something was wrong. Cause Ivanna had been wearing a mask, no one had realized that something was wrong with her.

“Why are you hugging her?” Kyrell hurriedly shoved Fiona off Ivanna, and Ivanna staggered backwards.

“Ivanna,” multiple people screamed at the same time. Floyd embraced her as his eyes trembled at the sight of the blood and the knife on her heart.

Koul hurriedly ran over.

“We need to rush her to the hospital,” he said when he saw the situation and knew that Ivanna had a chance to live if they hurried up.

Isley had immediately held Fiona, who had been thrown backwards.

“You dare scheme against my sister?” she asked coldly, her eyes were already red out of fury and maniacal.

“I will make you pay,” she said as she started slapping her as if she had lost her mind.

Mr Alessandro was filled with regret and guilt. He immediately understood that all of their plans had been planned. However, he shook his head, feeling that they shouldn’t have known that he would fire a gunshot.

Mr Baker was frozen on the ground, his face pale when he saw everything. He wanted to shout at his wife, but when he saw the lifeless body on the ground, he understood that she was already dead. She had been shot in her heart.

He opened his mouth to speak, tried to say something, but nothing came out. He understood that their lives were ruined. How would Ivanna’s family, who seemed influential, let them go? He was so sure that he and his daughter won’t escape prison.

The family had run after Floyd, who was carrying Ivanna.

At some point, Ivanna’s mask fell off, and her face was revealed. Outside, there were still reporters who were roaming around wanting to interview Ivanna and Isley, who would have thought they would get to see her face? They started taking pictures of her crazily.
