"What did he do?" Daniel asked quietly.
York replied, "After James left the country, he behaved for two days, then had someone impersonate him in his apartment while he secretly came back home in disguise. He met with Ophelia privately. Our people are still tailing Ophelia to see who she'll meet next."
Finally, Ophelia was making a move.
All the effort spent secretly monitoring her was starting to pay off.
"Make sure to record their conversation. And don't tip them off. Keep following them after they split up."
Daniel's eyes narrowed, giving off a dangerous vibe.
"Got it!"
York stepped back and issued the orders.
Meanwhile, James had just met up with Ophelia.
Seeing Ophelia, he thought he was mistaken. "Sorry, this place is taken. You must have the wrong spot."
Suppressing his irritation, he spoke to Ophelia.
Ophelia didn't get angry. Instead, she sat down across from him. "I didn't come to the wrong place. Maybe the person you're waiting for is me. Let me introduce myself. I'm Z."
When James contacted his associate, they used the code name Z. Since he hadn't told anyone about this, he was practically convinced.
"I didn't expect it to be you! Didn't you win first prize in that medical competition? Are you still working for Daniel?"
He was trying to test Ophelia, hoping to gather the information he wanted.
Ophelia saw James as a useful pawn and was particularly patient with him. "Yes, I'm still around Mr. Smith. But he's heavily guarded now, making it hard to make a move. However, it's not impossible. If we could poison him once, we can do it again."

"If you can achieve your goals, why do you need me? You can't poison him while being close to him, and I'm not in his favor, so it's even less likely for me."
"Don't worry. Poisoning is a professional job, and it should be done by professionals. Otherwise, it would be a waste."
Ophelia was referring to Yara.
When Yara was caught, their people failed to react in time, resulting in many being captured. They suffered heavy losses.
James sighed in relief and asked, "What do you want me to do? And what do I get in return?"
