Adela reached out and touched the demon's head. Suddenly, everything returned to normal when she said something. However, the demon retreated while yelling, appearing to be in anguish.
Wilson and Francis averted their eyes; they sensed something had occurred to them but could not pinpoint the cause. Then, suddenly, they noticed the monster screaming. Alfred stopped there, his eyes widening. He was terrified of that awful thing, and they would not keep their daughter's secret any longer.
Adela was there as the imperial knights surrounded the demon. The barrier shattered when the monster struck it while wailing in anguish. People on that side fled. The demon flailed as it landed on the ground, and then it abruptly began to disperse. The body of the monster began to let out a dark vapor. Then it began gradually fading away from that point.
Everyone just stood there in disbelief. They couldn't believe Adela had driven the monster away. Alfred approached Adela and whispered, "What have you done, Adela?" while grasping her hand.
Adela gently turned her head in his direction and asked, "Father, did you guys control it? I don't believe so. Everyone would be dead in this place."
When Adela used the slow-motion effect, David and Camilla noticed the last scene. They noticed how Adela made the monster disappear. David sprinted in that direction, but Camilla was standing and staring at Adela.
When Camilla saw Adela acting that way, she was astonished. Did she spot the right thing? Did Adela truly make the monster disappear? There was another one in Camilla.
Camilla's inner spirit saw Adela and reasoned, 'Adela killed the demon; she also killed my snake as well. A stronger mage can dispatch enemies with ease, but I get a distinct feeling from it. Adela appears to be both able to control them and not able to kill them. It's just my speculation, so I'm not sure. But I must learn it at all costs. I need to learn what Adela is capable of.'
[Swoosh].
A burst of wind swept through the area. Draven's attention was fixed on Adela. He noticed everything. His eyes expanded to where he couldn't even blink. He appeared to have become a statue there.
Francis stated, "Adela, let's go. The place has to be repaired once again."
Adela turned her head and moved. They approached and halted close to the corner where Erin was receiving medical care. She got a cut on her abdomen. When Max got there with Adela and the others, he said, "Let me look at her wound."
He knelt down to look at it. When the healers were taking care of Erin's wound, she raised her eyes. "Adela, I didn't know it would happen," she said.
Adela folded her hands and replied, "It's okay, Erin. It occurs occasionally."
"The way you approach it, though, truly surprises me. I couldn't even disperse it."
Regarding Erin's question, Adela remained silent. Healers attended to her wound. Max followed up by asking if she was experiencing any inner pain. Erin nodded negatively, noting that her discomfort was now less severe.
"Can you stand up?" Max asked.
"I-I can try," Erin stammered in response.
Erin held the two wizards' hands as she gently rose. When Ron approached them, he remarked, "Erin, can you walk by yourself?"
"I-." She couldn't even take a step forward since her entire body was in agony. Adela caught Erin just before she was about to fall. She took her hand in hers and said,
"Senior Max, I believe there is only one girl who can help Erin, because there is still round 2."
Max understood the person Adela was referring to. "I'm taking her here," he said. After saying it, Max moved. As neither Adela nor Erin could beat one another, it would be difficult to declare the winner. Erin was therefore required to wait a little while on the field under the rule.
Alfred and David were away from where they were. David murmured to Alfred, "She is not harmed," resting his hand on Alfred's shoulder.. "Therefore, don't worry right now."
Alfred gave David a brief nod but kept quiet. David then re-asked, "You said Veronica would come here, but where is she? Will she attend the next round?"
While attempting to avert his sight, Alfred uttered the word "m-maybe."
"She'll be here soon,"
Alfred was unaware of Veronica's conduct in Targoviste. Alfred pondered whether she had found the prince as he eyed Adela.
'I don't know what to say to Veronica about it.'
[Targoviste]
When Richard struck the Lycan, it immediately caught the blade in its claw and gave him a vicious-looking stare. Richard was about to go when, suddenly, Lycan seized his throat.
"Prince." While engaged in battle with another werewolf, Aaron yelled. Levy turned his focus after hearing Aaron. The prince was being gently pulled up off the ground by the Lycan while being held by the throat.
Richard began to struggle to free himself from the Lycan's hold, but the Lycan only tightened its claws as he did. While glancing at Richard, the Lycan let out a slow growl.
They immediately heard a tremendous noise as the Lycan was gently bringing Richard close to it.
[boom][boom][boom].
As soon as they heard it, the fighting ceased. The cave in front of them began to collapse, which they noticed. When Richard saw the Lycan peering behind it to see what had happened, he took a chance.
Richard drew a knife from his belt and plunged it into the red eyes of the Lycan. Instantaneously, the Lycan's eyes bled, and it wailed loudly. It tugged Richard away and struck nails. The Lycan covered his eyes and screamed. Richard's back was hit with a stone, and he spilled blood from his lips.
[Cough].
When a werewolf tried to bite Aaron, he booted it out with the sword. "Prince, are you okay?" he said as he hurried toward Richard.
Aaron noticed Richard suddenly coughing up blood. He inquired after growing afraid and holding him.
"Prince, did something happen to you?"
Richard nodded in agreement that he was OK while coughing. Aaron, though, saw an injury to his neck. In the meantime, they heard a tremendous howl. It was an ear-piercing wail coming from the Lycan. He glared fiercely at Richard in response. One of its eyes began to bleed. Richard and Aaron exchanged glances with the enraged Lycan. When Aaron moved in front of the Lycan as it sprinted at them, it swiftly drove Aaron to the other side. Richard clutched his dagger. The Lycan lifted its hand to sever Richard into two halves. When Lycan's nail was ready to make it into Richard's face, something unexpectedly forced Lycan to slide aside.
(Boom)..
When the Lycan struck the tree, its force caused both the tree and the Lycan to blow up. Richard collapsed on the ground, struggling for breath. He unexpectedly heard a voice.
"Prince, are you all right?"
Hearing the voice, Richard turned to look at it. As soon as he saw the person, his eyes grew wide. He spoke in a calm voice.
"Duchess."
In front of his eyes, Veronica was standing with a fireball in her palm. The moment Richard saw her, he was taken aback. Richard stared at Veronica and pondered how she might have arrived here. "Duchess, how could you come here?" he questioned. "Is everything all right there?"
Veronica said this with a smile as she turned to face Richard.
"Everything is fine there, but I doubt everything is fine here. So, your master, Alfred, sent me here to help you."
Richard said in a surprising tone, "Master?"
"Yes, your master couldn't rely on anybody else regarding your situation, so he sent me here," Veronica said as she turned to face him. "Although it appears that I'm a little late."
Richard moved his focus and found that Veronica had arrived with the soldiers to help him. When Veronica was talking with Richard, the Lycan's howls suddenly interrupted them.
[Growl...]
The Lycan caught Richard and Veronica's attention. The angry Lycan thudded hard to the ground. It was snarling in rage. It was drooling saliva from its mouth. "Prince, back off," Veronica murmured, narrowing her gaze. "I'll have a look at it."
"Duchess, you can't take on that Lycan by yourself." Richard expressed his concern in a troubled tone.
Veronica laughed at Richard and said, "Boy, I'm your master's wife. Don't underestimate me, then."
Richard hesitated and pursed his lips. He couldn't put Adela's mother in jeopardy. He would not thus be seated there.
"Not at all, my lady. I can manage it by myself."
When Veronica overheard Richard say the same thing, her brows furrowed. She lowered her fireball and gave him a perplexed look while asking.
"You can't even move. But just now you claim you can fight. How obstinate you are. I warned you to get some rest."
Richard's eyes widened when he overheard Veronica reprimanding him.
