Chapter 961
“Both Ian and I detest this past, especially lan! Don’t make him hate you, so never bring up this matter again!”
It was a commanding tone.
Robert not only didn’t raise any suspicion but nodded in agreement, “Don’t worry, I won’t mention it.”
He didn’t care much about how much lan disliked discussing it, but he would definitely respect Cathy’s wishes and not bring it up.
Seeing his resolute expression, Cathy finally let go of him, turned around, and walked out.
She didn’t want Robert to see her embarrassment. It wasn’t until she got into the car that she closed her eyes in pain.
Her eyes couldn’t hide the extreme blow and despair.
If that person was really Sherry…
Then what was she?
All the affection she received from Ian was stolen from Sherry?
Everything she had been proud of, which came from Ian, turned out to be given to her by Sherry?
If it were any other woman, Cathy might not have minded as much. She wouldn’t have had such a big reaction.
But Sherry was different.
The woman she had never looked at directly suddenly became her benefactor, and it turned out that she stole everything she had, which was even more humiliating than slapping her face.
No, it was a hundred times, ten thousand times more humiliating!
She was the noble and outstanding Cathy. How could she bear Sherry’s charity?
She wanted to immediately tell Ian the truth!
She wanted Sherry to know that even without all of this, she, Cathy,, was still the treasure in Ian’s hands!
Cathy quickly took out her phone and called Ian’s number.
But at the moment before pressing the dial button, she suddenly hung up!
In the end, she covered her face in despair.
In the past, she might have had a chance to win.
But now, Sherry was so outstanding that it was unbelievable.
Not only was she skilled in car racing, but she also had a close relationship with important figures like Jack Anderson.
Since their divorce, Sherry had repeatedly humiliated her, and she had been defeated several times already.
In this situation, she had no confidence in winning against Sherry!
Losing to Sherry would be equivalent to death!
Cathy’s mind was still in chaos, immersed in the humiliation brought by the truth and unsure whether she should reveal the truth to la
Suddenly, her phone rang.
On the other end, a female voice said, “Miss Willis, Mr. Kemnis has an important matter to discuss with you. Can you come to Creativity?”
“Okay.” Cathy’s mind was a mess, and she didn’t think about why Ian would ask her to come to Genesis Group.

She started the car and drove to Genesis Group.
When she arrived at the lobby, she quickly freshened up in the car, applying blush to her pale face and darkening her lipstick.
Seeing herself restored to her original bright appearance, she pushed open the car door and got out.
She headed straight to the top floor.
“Cathy, why are you here?”
In the corridor, Cathy ran into Linda.
Linda looked surprised and asked, “Did Mr. Kemnis call you?”
“Mr. Kemnis?” Linda pondered and recollected, “No, he didn’t.”
Linda was lan’s most trusted assistant. If he needed to find Cathy for work, he would definitely go through her. If it was a private matter, lan could have made the call himself.
“You… might have been deceived.” Linda was sensitive enough to reach out and hold her, “Come in with me first. I’ll find out the situation before calling you.”
Linda led Cathy into the client room.
As they reached the door, someone suddenly appeared from the side, blocking their way. “Why are you in such a hurry? What are you hiding from?”
It was a stunning figure, dressed in luxury from head to toe, with excellent fashion sense. However, her picky expression made people uncomfortable.
“Second Miss?” Linda was the first to call out.
The person was none other than Diana.
“Why are you here?” Linda asked, probing cautiously.
Diana’s eyes fixated on Cathy. “I came here specifically to check on Miss Willis.”
“So, you called me here?” Cathy realized.
Diana smiled, seemingly harmless. “Yes, I heard you had a problem with your eyes, so I specially invited a good ophthalmologist to treat you.”
She pointed to the doctor beside her.
Cathy’s head exploded when she saw the doctor. Her face turned pale again, and she couldn’t hold it together. Linda’s expression also turned sour, but if it weren’t for her usual exposure to emergencies alongside Ian, she might have collapsed already.
She quickly suppressed her nervousness and faced Diana, saying, “Second Miss is really considerate, but I’ve already arranged a specialized eye doctor for Cathy. You don’t need to worry.”
“But, I have already invited the doctor. I can’t return empty–handed, can I?” Diana’s smile seemed ambiguous.
Her expression was calm, but she hated Cathy to death inside.
She had just acted on Sherry’s words and sought out Jenny, who had confessed many things. Diana had thought she had cleverly used Cathy, but it turned out to be the other way around!
Not only was she used, but Cathy also revealed the conflict between Sherry and the CEO of Starlight Media to Jenny, using her as a tool to deal with Sherry!
Diana was not particularly smart, but her pride was strong. She couldn’t swallow this humiliation. She had invited the eye doctor to completely!
“My eyes are fine, no need for examination!” Cathy, having regained her composure, coldly refused. As long as the issue of her eyes being “not fine” wasn’t leaked, she was confident that Diana wouldn’t cause trouble.
Upon hearing this, Diana nodded lightly, as if she already believed it. She lifted her foot to leave.

Chapter 98
Cathy and Linda were about to breathe a sigh of relief, but then they heard her call out, “Brother, did you hear that? Chby raid boy tveg fine and have no problems!
At that moment, lan walked out from behind another door.
Both of them were speechless.
lan walked out with an expressionless face, his eyes lingering on Cathy with mixed emotions. Though he didn’t say anything, the intensity of his gaze made her struggle to breathe, almost losing her balance if not for Linda’s support.
Linda subtly shook her head, telling her not to be nervous.
“I heard some people spreading rumors that Cathy has eye problems. If this gets out, her fans will start guessing.” Linda said with a hidden meaning clearly warning lan not to let this matter spread.
Ian remained silent, and Diana spoke again, “Cathy, don’t you love showing your vulnerability in front of your fans? Even a small injury on your finger needs a live stream to seek sympathy. Now that you’ve lost an eye for the man you love, why hide it?”
“If you make it public, your fans will pity you even more, and they might even pressure my brother to marry you.”
“This…” Cathy’s mind was filled with hate, but she pretended to look down, unwilling to show too much emotion.
Her fingers were clenched tightly, showing how much she was holding herself back.
“Cathy cherishes her relationship with President Kemnis very much. How could she want to let her fans get involved? Her fans are so crazy that they might do something. If they really do something like forcing them to get married, their relationship might change. Don’t you think so?”
Linda was quick–witted and quickly came up with something, seamlessly integrating everything perfectly.
Cathy nodded, “Diana, I really just want to keep my relationship with your brother lowkey. Can we resolve our matter privately?”
“Nope.” Diana shook her head.
At this moment, Cathy hated Diana to death. Her nails sunk into her palms.
She looked at Ian with teary eyes, portraying a pitiful image.
She hoped that Ian would help her drive Diana away.
