Not even ten minutes later, a small red mini car stopped in front of me.
A cheerful woman jumped out of the car.
“Boss, are you really leaving?” The woman, who was my best friend, Fredrica Bennet, immediately asked.
“Yes.” I nodded, opening the passenger door and getting in.
“Great!” Fredrica leaned against the car door and jumped into the driver’s seat, exclaiming with excitement,“You were originally such a proud person, but because of a person named Kemnis, you lost your pride and became a slave to their family. They not only don’t appreciate it, but also think that you took advantage of them, always treating you with ill intentions. I couldn’t bear it long ago!”
I closed my eyes for a moment, not saying anything.
I was not sad about leaving Ian. Instead, I felt that my ten years of youth had been wasted,
Fredrica realized that I was feeling uncomfortable, reached out and held me, “If you want to cry, then cry.”
I stayed in Fredrica’s embrace for a while, wiped away the tears in my eyes, and smiled, “Today is a good day, I want to go to the amusement park to celebrate.”
Half an hour later.
At a city center amusement park, I sat on a high–rise jumping ride, feeling the exhilarating free fall speed and screaming loudly.
After that, I participated in a series of thrilling and exciting games such as the spinning wheel, high–speed racing cars, and free fall slides.
I screamed vigorously while shedding tears.
In my mind, the scenes of the ten years since I met Ian flashed like an old movie, and then they were all cleared
away. It seemed that a heavy burden had disappeared from my thoughts.
The thrilling and exciting games truly had the effect of soothing me. After a round, I felt much more comfortable.
Wiping away tears, I completely removed Ian from my heart.
Then, with Fredrica’s company, I went to a fashion store and changed my entire outfit from the inside out, along with changing my pale straight hair to curly golden waves.
Fredrica looked at me, who had become fresh, well–fitted, and satisfied, and raised her thumbs up. “This is the real
you.”

Chapter 16
I looked at myself in the mirror. Elegant, beautiful, and confident.
No one could recognize that I had been a depressed, silent, and pitiful Mrs Kemnis for the past four years.
“Long time no see, Sherry,” I said quietly.
After a series of activities, it was already seven o’clock in the evening.
We two hungry women went to a restaurant.
“You sit there and wait for a moment, I’ll go find the owner to make some delicious food!”
Fredrica patted my shoulder and said before turning away.
I entered the reserved private room, and two handsome men walked closer.
It was indeed Ian and his assistant Erik.
On ordinary days, I might not have seen Ian for weeks on end, but once the divorce was finalized, here we were, facing each other again.
“Madam,” the assistant also noticed me and greeted me politely. “Are you here to wait for the president?”
I didn’t want him to have any misunderstandings, so I quickly explained, “I didn’t come here to find you. It was just a chance encounter.”
“This foolish approach won’t work on me!” Ian said.
For some reason, he couldn’t help staring at my eyes.
With my new hairstyle and new outfit, I looked bright and dazzling.
He couldn’t help but think: Does she appear in front of him like this to attract his attention?
Ian didn’t think that I really wanted a divorce. He believed it was just a trick to use the time for consideration as a means to play a trick.
The more I acted like this, the more disgusted he felt.
“Uh… Trick?” I didn’t expect that they had already signed the divorce papers, yet he still thought that way.
His words made me burst into laughter.
Thinking that he never trusted me, I didn’t care to explain and simply nodded thoughtfully, “Think whatever you
want.”
After speaking, I walked straight into the private room.

Chapter 16
Ian thought I would continue explaining, prepared to take a step forward, but unexpectedly, he heard this answer and involuntarily stopped, turning his head to look at me.
He saw nothing but my figure.
She… had left?
After finishing dinner, Fredrica, full of mystery, said, “Not only do you need to change your appearance, but also your mindset. I want you to become a Queen.”
I felt confused about what Fredrica had in mind until I was taken to the city’s largest bar, when I understood.
“Are you sure you want me to dance like this?”
I looked uncomfortably at the mesmerizing and passionate figures on stage.
“You’ve danced before, what are you afraid of!” Fredrica threw a red dress at me.
“With your skills, when you step on that stage, those professional dancers can only step aside!”
Hearing those encouraging words, I laughed and chose a relatively modest costume.
“I’ll stick to classical dance.”
After changing my clothes, I confidently danced on stage.
Under powerful music, my body was graceful and elegant.
The perfect costume showcased my flexibility as I gracefully danced like a fairy in the mortal world.
“What the hell? Someone came to the bar and danced classical dance?”
Someone in the audience spotted my different behavior and shouted.
“This dance really suits the rhythm of the music.”
‘Wow, so seductive and professional!”
Those who had previously criticized me had a change of attitude when they saw my professional dance.
They widened their eyes in astonishment.
They had never seen someone use classical dance to perform such lively music without any conflict.
The dancer who had been performing on the stage before was also captivated by these graceful movements and slowly withdrew to the side.
Under the lights, I was the only one spinning and dancing, my flowing dress fluttering, beautiful like a fairy.

Chapter 16
The other dancers twirled around poles, revealing costumes and powerful moves, serving as the backdrop for me.
Initially, Fredrica was worried that I would be criticized for dancing classical dance. But seeing this scene, Fredrical couldn’t help raising her chin, with a look of admiration on her face.
“Sherry is truly admirable, shining wherever she goes.”
I was immersed in my dance, oblivious to the gazes around me.
It had been four years since I last danced, and my patience had finally broken at that moment.
All I wanted now was to unleash myself.
My soft and seductive figure, combined with my gentleness and dexterity, made my dance with even more joy.
I climbed up an iron pole and performed dynamic moves on it.
My dance was not like that of other pole dancers, not too forceful, but it definitely brought freshness.
Watching me effortlessly and flawlessly perform one difficult move after another, the continuous applause resounded throughout the stage.
“Oh, a new girl with some skills.”
Off the stage, Ian and a few friends stepped forward, with one of them being captivated by the image on stage.
The more he looked, the more he felt that something was not right.
“That woman… she looks like your wife.”
Ian raised his head upon hearing this and looked at the woman dancing on the stage. His body was still, and his facial expression seemed a bit surprised.
