Chapter 16 Chapter 0016
•RAFAEL•
“Didn’t I warn you to stay away from Narra? Her father is dead, so what more do you want from her?” I asked when she opened the front door of her apartment.
“Gosh,” she scoffed, folding her arms across her chest. “You mean to tell me you came here to tell me this?”
“I want you to stay away from Narra, Polly. Her father has died, and I thought that would be enough for you instead of continuing to torment her.”
I was angry because she had no right to interfere in my business with Narra. It was none of her problem if I wanted to keep her around.
“Get off my face, Raf. My conversations with Narra shouldn’t concern you, not if you didn’t marry her because you had grown fond of her.”
“Do you think I would love the daughter of our sworn enemy?” I scoffed. “I just don’t want you to be on her case.”
“Tell me, brother,” she leaned toward me, narrowing her eyes. “Have you slept with her?”
I scoffed at her question. It made me think of how Narra felt when I was inside her. She was tight and wet when I entered her, and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t met someone like her before.
“That’s not the question you should ask me when you keep talking with her behind my back and threatening her,” I seethed.
“Sometimes you surprise me, hey,” she chuckled. “Aren’t you the one who told me we would get revenge on Ethan and his family for what he did? So why are you keeping Narra in your house? You chased me out of the house and from your office because of her, Rafael.”
“If you hadn’t brought Amari into my house to beat Narra up, I wouldn’t have lost my temper and chased you out. You know damn well what she did behind my back.”
“Whatever, Rafi. As for Narra, I’m still coming for that bitch. Tell her that when you’re fucking her ass.” She slammed the door in my face, and I shook my head as I turned around and walked to my car in the driveway.
“Rafael?” Narra got up from the couch when I walked into her bedroom. “I’m sorry about what I said. Polly probably didn’t mean any of what she said.”
‘Stupid Narra, why do you always apologize for everything?’ I thought as I closed the door and leaned toward her.
“I shouldn’t have—” I interrupted her sentence, grabbed her face, and kissed her.
She didn't push me away. I was craving to feel her body against mine, and I didn’t want to hold back.
I took off her clothes and mine before I laid her down on the bed and thrust into her. It turned me on when she moaned my name, clutching her nails into my back.
I then rolled down between her legs and sucked her pussy, wanting to know how she tasted, and she tasted so fucking good.
When I was done, I thrust into her and rested my head on her neck, listening to her soft moans in my ear.
“Ahh, fuck,” I groaned as I gave her deep strokes, and put my hands under her butt.
She felt so good around my length, and I couldn’t get enough of how tight and wet she was around me.
“Hmm,” she moaned as she vibrated underneath my weight, and I gave her deep thrusts before collapsing next to her after I had released inside her.
I closed my eyes and rested them. When I opened them, she was gone from the bed and had gone to the bathroom.
My cell phone rang on the counter when I was about to get up and go to my room.
Tyrion was panting when I answered the call, and I furrowed my brow in confusion as I got off the bed and put on my clothes.
“Tyrion? What’s going on?”
“It was a trap, boss. Keith and his men planned an ambush when we went to deliver the package. There was someone with him named Chris. Before they shot at us, he told me he had met you somewhere. He sounded like he knew Miss Narra. They killed all our men, boss. Draco and I were the only ones who got away.”
“Did he tell you where we met?” I thought of the man at Montelli’s nightclub who mistook Narra for her dead twin.
I felt angry because I knew I should’ve ended his life when we left the club.
The men he had killed were close to ten, and I wondered if he knew the trouble he had gotten himself into with me.
“I’ll come and get you. Send me your location.” I hung up the call as I left Narra’s room, went to my car outside the house, and drove to the location he had sent me.
When I got to the location, Tyrion and Draco rushed to my car and got in the back.
“Where’s the package?” I tilted my head and looked at them after they had closed the door.
“Keith took it before he retaliated against us. This was a setup, and we couldn’t tell. We should’ve known when he wanted a contact transaction,” Tyrion answered, and I scoffed.
“That motherfucker. We spent thousands of dollars on that package. He needs to pay for it.” I slipped my cell phone out of my pocket and called him.
“If we ever cross paths, you’ll be a dead man, Keith.”
“Oh, gosh, that’s funny!” Someone laughed on the phone, and I realized it wasn’t Keith. He gave his cell phone to somebody else because he was a coward and a loser.
So, I took a wild guess and scoffed. “Chris.”
“Rafael Sterling. You’re not as scary as I imagined when I saw you. People kept telling me you were a tall man with one eye, but when I saw you—” He chuckled. “You reminded me of my little nephew. You’re cute with little muscles, that’s all.”
“Where are you so we can end this?”
“I don’t want to spoil the fun, Mr. Sterling, but if you don’t want us to bump heads for a silly game, give me back what’s mine.”
“What’s yours?”
“You know her. Aneira Colombo. She’s my fiancée, and if you don’t want to lose your aunt and sister, you will give her back to me.”
