Chapter Fourteen
“I think we need to let her have a break, guys,” Michael said a few minutes after we all collapsed in a pile. I crawled off Michael and stood up, only to find my legs didn’t want to support me.
“What the hell?” I asked as Tristan caught me against his chest with a quick move.
“It’s just a side effect of a good fucking.” He grinned down at me, all charm and nonchalance. “Your legs are just tired, Nicolette. Why don’t you sit on the couch, and I’ll find you another drink and order us all something to eat.”
“I’ll make my way to the bathroom first, I think. Excuse me, fellas.” I pushed away from Tristan’s hard but oh-so-wonderful chest and wobbled my way down to the bathroom. I could feel muscles I didn’t even know I had protesting but thought a few minutes of rest would make them shut up. I hoped.
I cleaned myself up with a quick shower, wrapped myself in another towel from the stack by the walk-in shower, and couldn’t help but look at myself in the mirror. I saw the self-satisfaction in my eyes, the way my lips wouldn’t stop tilting up, and a tilt to my head I don’t remember seeing before, but other than that, I didn’t look any different.
I felt incredible though! Relaxed, almost satiated, but still far too curious to stop. I brushed my hair out with a comb on the sink with the logo of the hotel on it and then stepped back to look at myself again.
I was a full-grown, degree-holding, true woman now. I knew what sex was, I knew what it felt to be desired and to desire someone else. Even better, I knew what it felt like to find release with a man. It was… breathtaking.
“You alright in there, Nic?” I heard Tristan call out with a knock on the door.
“I’m fine, Tristan.” I opened the door the let him see. “Just thought a shower was in order.”
“Ah, good. We were going to suggest that. You got a bit coated back there.”
“I was.” I blushed, remembering the evidence someone left on my shoulder. “I’m curious though, how was my, um, technique?”
“With your mouth, you mean?” His left eyebrow quirked in an intriguing way and I felt my heart race in reaction. It wasn’t to his words, at all, no sir.
“I mean with my everything?” It was a question I didn’t want to ask, but I had to know.
“You’re a virgin. Well, you were.” He smirked for a second then it disappeared into a gentle smile. “You have stuff to learn, but your eagerness made it all incredible. Teaching you how to suck my dick was probably one of the best moments of my life. I’ll never forget the look in your eyes as you looked up at me, so hungry for my cock.”
Their open use of such forbidden words didn’t bother me at all now, I kind of liked it actually. I looked down at my feet, pleased that he’d enjoyed himself.
“Oh, and Nicolette?” He tilted my chin back up with his index finger and looked straight into my eyes. “Coming in your mouth as you swallowed my load? Incredible!”
I wanted to look away again, but he wouldn’t let me. I smiled instead, pleased that he’d got something out of my efforts. I mean, he obviously had, but it was nice to hear it.
“Let’s get something to eat,” he said, and I took the hand he held out.
I followed him into the dining room where the brothers all sat around a table. There was a selection of drinks on the table that ranged from beers I didn’t recognize to bottles of juice and water. I took a bottle of water and sat at the long black table with seating for 12.
I’d thought the chair was metal, but I soon found it was wood when I pulled it out.
“How are you feeling?” Daniel asked his gaze on mine. My first sexual partner, I thought as I looked back at him, the man that made me a true woman.
“My muscles are going to hate me tomorrow, but I don’t feel bad. I feel happy, I guess, more than anything.”
“I remember that blog of Amanda’s,” Michael said cautiously, and I felt my body go tense. Amanda had written very awful things about me in that blog and I would always hate her for it.
“I tried to have it taken down but came up against a wall. I couldn’t prove it was about me, so it was left up.” I took a sip of water and tried not to let hate rule my heart. “She was, is, in need of love that I’m afraid she’ll never find.”
“That may be, but that blog is one of the reasons I went along with the plan we all had cooked up,” Michael responded with his heart in his eyes. “I wanted to tell her to take that shit down, but I knew I’d give something away if I did. She’s cruel, heartless, I suspect and she had to think we were too. Pity for her she didn’t understand that heartless wasn’t a turn-on for us.”
“I see,” I nodded and took another sip. Room service arrived then, and we stopped talking to dig into the food.
They’d ordered a huge selection, but I played it safe with a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. I didn’t want to upset my tummy or have a meal that was too heavy, not when I was here for all the sex I could get.
“Have you all graduated now?” It was just a conversation starter as we finished our meal.
I smiled up at Daniel when he went into his room and came back with a t-shirt that was way too big for me but covered more than my towel did. I slipped on the dark blue shirt with some European soccer team’s logo printed on the front and sat back down at the table.
“Yeah,” Tristan finally answered me. “We’re off to work in Daddy’s firm in a couple of months. We have a trip to Spain planned for July and then we’re supposed to be thrust into the real world.”
He said it was a hint of irony in his voice. “You don’t seem pleased?”
“It’s not that, it’s just that we’re being given these cushy positions that we haven’t necessarily earned. I like a little bit of a challenge when it comes to work. The illusion of being useful doesn’t suit me, or any of us really.”
“Is there something else you want to do?” I inquired, curious to know a little more about them.
“Well, we wanted to open a non-profit organization for disabled kids in our community. We wanted to create a place where they could all come together and play, get to know other children that have their own disabilities. It was also going to be a place where the parents could come and be with parents that understood their lives.”
“It sounds like you had a plan?” I just wanted him to keep talking. His plan sounded great.
“Yeah. We all focused on different areas of running the business. Michael did a non-profit organization and business class. Tristan did child development. Adam studied accounting and I studied special education. We knew we’d have to hire staff, but for the most part, we trained to operate this project ourselves. Dad nixed that. We’re not even trained to work in tech industries, but he insists. All we want to do is play baseball. The one thing that we’ve ever wanted to do.” Daniel looked peeved about it and I could understand that when I considered how much work they’d done.
“We even have the entire organization model set up for it, a building selected, staff chosen. We were working towards this one goal, but Dad won’t have it,” Adam sighed at my left side and I turned to look at him.
“You know that you could get involved in both types. Stick to playing baseball, but have your own business and work on things that way.”
I hadn’t spoken to Adam a lot, but he was just as intriguing as his brothers. That scar over his eye made him look a little… I don’t know, rakish was the only word that came to mind. I smiled at him, despite his annoyance.
“Are you sure you don’t want to defy him?”
“He has us over a barrel. We don’t have the money to do this without our trust funds, and he’ll freeze those if we don’t play along.”
“Maybe you could try to get community support? I’m sure part of your classes were fundraising techniques?” I asked and looked at Michael on the other side of the table.
“It’s something we plan to talk about more over the summer. Spain is a break we need, but I have a feeling we’ll be working through most of it. Fuck! Even our starting contracts would be enough to do what we want to do in time.” he added, finishing the last of the steak he’d had, and put his fork down. “It’s not completely dead yet. If we can do some fundraising, then we might be able to walk away from Dad’s money.”
“Would you really want to do that, though?” I stared at him, fascinated with the idea. “I grew up with a single-parent struggling to keep it all together for us both. She worked her ass off to make ends meet, and I couldn’t imagine giving up this life for that.”
They all looked surprised at the question and four sets of very similar gray eyes locked onto me.
“Go on,” Daniel prompted gently, and I blinked. What did he mean, go on?
“Well, life was hard. I could see giving up money to follow your dreams, but now that I see this place? I couldn’t imagine actually doing it. Going from having every want and demand met to working your ass off to make ends meet? It would be hard on all of you.”
“You have a point,” Tristan said, his serious face on now. “It’s one of the reasons we’ve decided to wait until after going to Spain to decide what we really want to do. We all need to think about exactly what we’re about to give up.”
“I don’t know if I can help, but I’m a Communications major and I’ll do what I can.”
“You’re not going to run off to Hollywood to follow your dreams?” Adam asked with a playful wink.
“No, I’ve taken a job in Charlotte so I can be close to my best friend.” The minute I thought about Brooklyn, I missed her. I’d be seeing her in a few days, though.
“You must be really close,” Adam murmured and caught my attention. His lips looked so warm, wet, and kissable that I leaned towards him.
“We are,” I whispered, but someone cleared their throat, so I pulled away with a blink.
“You need to rest a little bit, Nicolette,” Michael instructed softly. “You are eager, and you are incredible, but you’re only human. Let’s watch a movie or something on television for a while before we wear you out before you even get started.”
He softened the instructions with a smile and a look of fascination.
“Thanks for being considerate,” I replied just as softly. “I am eager to learn, to experience it all, but you’re right. I need to pace myself, I guess.”
We all cleared the table and then went into the living room area. There was a large black sectional sofa that matched that weird table that had been used as my sacrificial table. I’d forgotten about that stray thought but thought about it now.
I settled down on the couch, my feet tucked up under me with Adam at my side. I let my head fall to his shoulder, a familiar touch that would have seemed odd hours ago but now felt natural.
I had offered myself up to these guys. They were far more than the four cocks I thought I was in for. They were far more than attractive. They had passion, drive, and hopes that I’d never thought they’d have. I’d assumed they’d be shallow men, filled with egos bolstered by their father’s wealth.
Instead, I’d met men that were seriously considering leaving the life of luxury they lived in order to serve others. I’d met men that treated me like I was a treasured gift they’d been given, delicate and fragile, something to be adored. I looked over at Tristan, the other brother I hadn’t had sex with yet.
He looked deep in thought, lost to the movie we’d chosen to watch. That led to me looking at the others. They weren’t watching the movie, they were thinking. I smiled because I barely knew these guys, but it seemed that I’d had an impact already.
I sighed, as happy as could be as the sun went down and Vegas came to sparkling life. I must admit, I forgot to watch the movie as the city lit up all over again, as it must do every night. But tonight, that glittering haven that beckoned like a mistress left too long on her own, lit up just for me. At least, in my mind it did.
I left the couch, enthralled by the fountains that came to life in the light. By the way the lights danced and jumped to form words and pictures below me. It was so modern, full of life and promise that I couldn’t help but try to get near it. I stood against the cool glass that eased my aches a little and watched the dry, barren desert become a fantasy world.
I knew down there in the bowels of those glittering lights, that badness happened, things some would call evil happened. But up here, for this short time, Las Vegas was a beautiful place that offered hope. It was the place where I’d come to hope for far more than the lonely life that faced me before I came here.
I didn’t know what the future held but I had a feeling these men were going to be a part of my life for a very long time. I turned to them with a sudden twirl and gave Adam what I hoped was a very sexy grin.
“Ready boys?”
