Chapter 56 ...
Chapter 56 ...
Selene's pov.
Ethan and I are now back together, not that we separated or anything before.
Mallory only came by once to say she was leaving with her mom to go prepare and I was more than happy to see her leave.
I let her hug me and the smile on my face was because she was going away from Ethan for sometime.
Everything about her was triggering, from her face to her body to even the way she laughed.
I was glad she wasn't around to ruin the remaining two nights of our vacation.
I knew that Ethan was sad to see her leave, that's why I am here, so that he doesn't think of anyone else.
Our last two days at the beach house were memorable.
We spent some time at the beach, playing different games, I even carved mine and Ethan's initials on a pebble.
"Are you doing this because of the cave incident?" Ethan asked after I was done.
"No, this doesn't have anything to do with it." I lied.
Thankfully he didn't prob further.
What I enjoyed most at the beach house was the nights when Ethan would come into my room and slide on my bed.
We spent long hours having sex, and I feel my body was already used to it unlike the first time.
Each night was more spectacular than the previous one.
When it was time to leave I was a bit sad, I have come to like this space just like Ethan does.
In the mansion, which was twenty times bigger, he could not even sleep in my room.
Just because the servants might start gossiping.
We returned to Wellsbury and it felt like we'd been away for years.
I flopped on the chair downstairs, too lazy to take my bag to my room.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't want to go to school tomorrow." I groaned.
"Did Selene Greasely just say she wants to miss school? The world must be coming to an end." Ethan laughed.
I threw a pillow at him,
"Get out of here."
He continued laughing as he caught the pillow.
"One would think you'd be happy to return, internet and all.”
"Shit"
I swore as he made mention of the internet. I just remembered Vale.
I rummaged through my bag frantically got my phone, the battery had died.
Thoughts of Vale never surfaced since I lost service on my phone.
He must have tried to reach me to no avail.
I plugged the phone to a nearby socket, I won't call him or check if he sent any messages.
I'd just see him tomorrow and explain.
Ethan was watching me closely as I plugged the phone.
"What?" I asked him.
"Nothing, just admiring your beautiful face."
I looked around a bit panicked, we were back in the house, he shouldn't be saying things like that out loud.
"Relax, no one's close enough to hear, I'm only saying the truth after all."
My face flushed hot red, his words have a way of heating me up.
I quickly changed the topic
"I hope you haven't slacked due to our little holiday?"
"Why do you have to spoil things bh bringing up academics. I'm good in that area, you can even ask me some questions now to test me." He insisted.
I won't, we just got back, I won't push it on him so early.
"You still have today to relax, from tomorrow, I'm going hard on you."
He relaxed on his elbow, a sly smirk curved his lips.
"That's one of your favourite things about me."
Geez, I need to get to my room before he has me undressed and fill my pussy with his cock right there on the couch.
I could feel the sweet throbbing between my thighs already.
I yearn for him almost everyday now, we need to be careful as our passion has increased due to the time we spent at the beach house.
The next day in school, Vale swept me off my feet like a baby.
He kissed my forehead, my heart raced as I was with him.
"I was worried sick." He complained.
"I'm sorry, there was no reception and there was just no way I could reach you till I got back."
"You returned yesterday right? A phone call or even a message would have sufficed. Do you have any idea how worried I was?"
He truly was, I could see it in his eyes, guilt pricked my heart and it bled out.
"My battery was flat when I got home, I had to charge my phone, then I slept for a long time."
He put his finger to my lips.
"That's okay, I can see that you are good, it's enough for me."
His eyes kept hovering over my body, like he wasn't sure of the statement he just made.
He observed me some more before saying,
"You look different."
I tucked my hair behind my ear.
"Different how?"
"Different in a good way, you're glowing, I must say the beach did you good.”
I smiled, then held my breath when he touched my neck.
"A mark on your neck, like a bit mark"
I covered it with my hand before he could look closer, the memory of how I got it flashed in my mind.
The first night Ethan entered my room and we got carried away by the waves of passion.
"Could be an insect while I was basking at the beach." I laughed nervously to cover it.
"Let's go eat something."
That was how I drew him from the conversation, I stayed back after school for an extra thirty minutes to watch Vale practice.
Then I let him drop me off at home.
"We are still having our date soon, don't forget." He reminded me as I stepped out of his car.
"I won't."
The first thing I did as I entered the house was go check on Ethan. I have kept him waiting longer than he should.
Before I could knock on the door, I heard soft laughter from within.
It wasn't just one person laughing, I opened the door without knocking.
Mallory was on Ethan's reading desk, his book on her lap and they were both laughing stupidly.
She cocked her head when she noticed me.
"Hi Selene."
