Chapter 46
There was a pause between them both, Eros was utterly stunned when he heard the words from his mate. 

He was definitely not expecting her to be pregnant so quickly but then he didn't think about that thought anymore. The only thing that he thought about was embracing his mate in his arms, because it was great news.

That is what he wanted, he wanted to be a father, to have children with his mate. Of course it wasn't a good time with the issues that are happening around the area, with the Rogues opposing the growing threat and for sure a war is going to happen.

Definitely not a good time but kind of also was a good time, it was mixed emotions to say the very least but Eros is very happy. He gently grabs his mate, giving her a deep hug and kissing her face. 

He broke away from her making her sit down on the bed where he brought his face to her stomach and kissed her stomach where the unborn child is growing inside of her. Emma was relieved by the reaction from Eros. 

She thought maybe he would be very angry with her with the news but he wasn't so she was very relieved. Eros looked up at Emma, " I love you", Eros said to Emma. 

" I love you too," Emma said with tears in her eyes. 

" I don't want you to worry, everything will be fine. We will find a way out of this war. I promise you that. " Eros said with determination all over his face.

Eros along with the others of the family left their home. They went with the King, their cousin, to the destination they needed to go.

That destination was going to be the area where they will have their War. 

But the king and Eros had a plan in mind, that plan is going to be very simple and hopefully successful. 

That plan was to challenge the new leader of the Rogues to a hand-to-hand combat. 

If the king and Eros won the rogues would have to leave immediately. But if the king and or Eros lost then the war would start. 

The king and Eros were hoping that the leader of the rogues would accept the challenge from them so that the war wouldn't happen. 

They were trying to look for a better opportunity so that nobody would get hurt. Both of the armies met on the field miles away from everyone else. Both of them were staring at each other across the field just waiting.

There was a long pause between the armies. Both of them were studying each other, finding the best ways in case the war starts on who to kill first.

Somewhere in their human forms some are not, the ones that are not in the human forms they wanted to be ready just a case that needed to fight.  Enough time passed between both of the armies, the king stepped forward to speak. 

" Where is your leader?" The king spoke

The leader of the Rogues step forward with a wicked smile upon his face. The leader of the rogues was very confident that he was going to start the war and win. But little did he know what the King was planning on in the end.

" I am right here, king" the leader spoke

" I have an offer for you." The king spoke

" And what is that?" The leader of the Rogues said curiously

" The offer is a trial by combat, hand to hand, shifting into wolves is acceptable. Myself and one of my choosing fights you and whoever you choose in a hand to hand combat. If we win, your army goes away from our lands. And if we lose the war begins as you so wanted." The king said

The leader of the Rogues was intrigued by the offer from the King. Without any hesitation he accepted the offer because he was very confident but also very cocky. He believes that he could win and that will be his downfall. 

The king chose Eros to fight with him. As the leader chose his one to fight as well. 

Both sides get ready to fight. To the death, that was the plan. 

Each of the armies watched as a vicious battle between four of them took place, those are the leaders of the armies' fight.
