Chapter 152 CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE

Chapter 152 CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE
ROMAN’S POV

“Emily…….. No…” I screamed loudly like a manic, diving into the deep sea water, swimming to my love being taken away from me, again.

I can’t.., I can’t.., i can’t lose you again..

That was the only thought running through my head as I pushed against the waves of the sea, trying to swim my way to Emily, tears of frustration mixing with the water.

My body is jerked back, as Castor tried to drag me back.

I screamed loudly, thrashing widely. Other warriors joined, and soon enough, they dragged me screaming and thrashing out of the water.

“Are you bloody crazy…” Castor screamed out, his chest heaving up and down as he stood before me, dripping water.

I sat there, staring at the ship getting smaller with the distance.

Emily…. I whispered out, breaking down in front of the remaining surviving warriors as I cried like a baby.

It wasn’t fair, I just barely grasped her, no proper time after how many months, and now she was gone again.

“We have to go back, I need to treat Anthony properly.” Rachel voiced carried out loud through the harsh wind as she walked closer, her hands soaked in blood.

“Everyone, count our dead, gather them together. We can’t leave them like this,” Castor called out. “And for the captured hunters, we will deal with them personally, make sure they are properly restrained.”

“Sheila…” I croaked out, “I am taking her body back to the pack. She doesn’t deserve to be burnt here.”

The warrior closer to my right, Bellamy, crounched down. “Luna Fisher, it doesn’t bode well to come back with one body. Every men and women fallen today have someone back at the pack, waiting for them. I know Sheila was really important, but if we bring only her body back, it feels like she is more worthy than the warriors that have fought bravely today.”

I turned to stare at the him, a long hard stare. “She is going home with me.” I growled out, standing up. “Show me the hunter captured,” I growled out.

Most of them glance at theirselves nervously, while Castor sighed out loudly.

I followed Castor entering a tent where three tightly restrained hunters where, the two flanked at the side where badly injured, but the man at the middle knelt down, his head held high as he stared at me.

Before he could say anything, my fist was flying hard, hitting him repeatedly as I unleashed my anger and pain at him.

A grey wolf growled at me, barreling into me, the both of us rolling to the side.

I was confused at first, at who would dare do such a thing.

But the wolf changed back, Rachel breathing hard as she stood in front of the hunter.

“Please…, calm down Roman, please don’t hurt him, please.” Rachel cried out.

I stood up slowly, dusting my trousers while everyone stood still, watching everything.

“I don’t want to think about the repercussions of what you just did, get out of my way Rachel.” i sneered out, “I don’t want to hurt you.”

“I can’t.” Rachel whispered, tears in her eyes as she shook badly. “You don’t understand.”

“Then make me.” I roared out, kicking the chair in front of me. “Make me fucking understand why you would protect a bloody hunter, after what we just went through?”

“Because he is my mate.” Rachel screamed loudly. “My fucking mate. I don’t know what kind of sick joke the moon goddess is playing at, but this man Khalifa is my mate. Why do bloody fuck do you think he is tied up here instead of on that ship.”

Everybody was silent now, staring at Rachel in shock.

I laughed, hard. I mean this was funny, really funny.

“I am not any of you bloody dogs mate. Khalifa or whatever sneered out. I would rather die,” he says coldly.

Before he could open up his mouth again, Rachel groaned loudly, punching him hard, the force rendering the man unconscious.

Shit…, i don’t think anyone of us has ever seen Rachel like this.

“Sorry, but I hope you understand, I don’t want this bond anymore than him, but you know i have to research this, understand this better.” Rachel mutters out, running her hand through her hair.

The tent open up, Alpha George walked in, some of his men behind him.

“I am sorry we couldn’t save Emily.” he says, glancing around at me and everyone still standing there in shock. His eyes finally stopped at the unconscious tied up hunter.

I sighed, picking up the chair I had kicked earlier, before sitting on it.

“I am not giving up.” I say firmly, glancing at everyone. “Emily is alive on that ship, she is strong, and will withstand whatever that lunatic Zed throws at her. While we find a way to rescue her.”

“You still have your ship Alpha George, I intend to make full use of it. But first we burn our dead and the hunters too, we take whatever weapons we find, we go back to our packs and family, resting and preparing for war. This fight isn’t over yet, and it won’t be till Zed and his hunters are buried deep deep down the sea.”

“How are we going to track them? what if they take Emily somewhere to their human word? They could exploit her there, experiment on her and the baby more cruelly. Worst, Zed somehow succeed in creating his own superhumans, and then they come for us. What then?” Alpha George asked.

Two men barged into the tent, dragging a struggling Antonio behind them.

“Let me go you bastards.” he screamed loudly, thrashing about.

Alpha George smiled, and immediately Antonio saw him, he starts struggling even more.

“Please…. George, listen it’s….”

His voice cut of abruptly, his head rolling back as he slumped down unconscious from the force of the blow Alpha George threw at him.

I smiled, watching as Alpha George nudged him with his foot, shaking his head. “Coward..” he grumbled out, turning towards me.

I stood up. “You have a lot to deal with, so do I. And don’t worry, i have a mole on the ship, I can used the tracker implanted in him to track the ship.”

“Uh… about that.” Castor grumbles out, avoiding eye contact with me.

I turned towards him, frowning at his behavior.

“What is it?” I asked sharply.

“We no longer have a mole on the ship, Killian unfortunately didn’t make it.” Castor says gently, shattering whatever remnants of control I had.
