"I'm just going right over there." His smile was one of the few I remembered that seemed so genuine, almost boyish.
He was my hero; arrogant and rude, frustrating and dangerous. But he'd bridged the fine line between good and evil, allowing his humanity to surface.
The gorgeous man slumped against the back of the chair, his legs spread wide open, his eyes narrowing. I watched his ragged breathing as I inhaled, drinking in the all-male scent of him. I was thoroughly aroused, longing for more than just a watchdog.
"That's not close enough." I eased off the bed, slowly removing my clothes, quivering from excitement every second. I'd never seen a man look at me with such lust in his eyes. But there was more. He'd become my protector, the man I could lean on, the very man I could surrender to.
Body and soul.
When I was naked, I crawled under the covers, turning on my side. "Please."
Michael looked away then simply walked out of the room.
Whoa. Wait a minute.
I was stunned. How could he do this to me? He didn't want me any longer? He'd gotten everything he wanted then was planning on tossing me away. Anger began to swell until I caught a glimpse of his gorgeous physique once again.
He returned with the holster in his hand. He gave me a slight smile as he placed the weapon on the table then pulled the shirt off over his head.
I bit back a whimper, more out of anger at myself. I was always thinking the worst in people. Well, in men. Sadly, I'd had no other role models but assholes. Even my father, as much as I loved him, had never been able to shower me with adoration or even attention. I was simply his spawn.
Pushing aside the ugliness was easy to do when given I had the sexiest eye candy in front of me. There was a slight hint of the moonlight coming in through the slits in the blind, highlighting his broad shoulders and long legs. When he reached for the drapes, I held out my hand. "Don't. No one can see in through the windows. There are no close buildings. I want to be able to see everything."
"I'm just being cautious."
"I know and I love you for it, but I want to see you." I'd blurted out the word. Love. L. O. V. E. That alone gave me a cold shiver.
Michael kept a sly smile on his face as he dropped his arm, kicking off his shoes before unbuckling his belt. Hearing the clinking sound of brass gave me such a warm yet odd thrill, my mind rushing to the first time he'd used the belt for disciplining me.
That seemed like a lifetime ago instead of a couple of days.
When he was completely naked, he eased his head back, his long fingers raking through his full hair. He was teasing me, something he hadn't done before and I was taking full and delightful advantage of it.
I pulled down the sheet, running my fingers under my chin and down between my breasts. The expression on his face became ravenous, a slight growl slipping past his luscious lips.
He walked closer, still just out of my reach. "If we do this, there is no turning back. I don't want this to end. No, this won't end. You will belong to me."
"Then so be it."
Tilting his head, he exhaled before crawling into bed, easing me down onto my back. He held himself aloft on his elbows, able to rub the pads of his fingers across my face. The touch was gentle, not the dominating man who'd taken me before. He lowered his head, blowing a swath of hot air across my lips. "Then so be it." The repetition was more possessive, a man ready to take on the responsibility.
I arched my back as he captured my mouth, holding his lips against mine then slowly opening them. The feel of his tongue dancing back and forth ignited the fire, sizzling my skin. I wrapped my arms around him, simply holding him in place. I wanted this to last. Not just for a single night. Not for a weekend.
For eternity.
The realization was an awakening, relaxing my tense muscles as he crushed his lips against mine. Everything about this man was all about control, but I was allowed to see, if only briefly, his vulnerable side. He was allowing me into his soul and quite possibly his heart.
He shifted his hand down the length of my neck as he devoured my mouth, thrusting his tongue all the way inside. I was lightheaded, my only thoughts about this man and this moment. I wrapped my leg around his hip, pulling him closer until his throbbing cock slipped between my legs.
I was tingling all over, undulating my hips as I moaned into the kiss. Nothing had prepared me for the excitement surging through me, the desire so great I could no longer think clearly. I raked my nails down his back as he French kissed me, taking his time to explore the dark recesses of my mouth.
He was glorious in his mannerisms, his demand for me increasing. He yanked my other leg up, holding it next to him as he broke the kiss, his every sound savage in nature as he dragged his tongue along my jawline then to my neck.
When he bit down, I whimpered; my entire world shattered from the closeness I felt.
I shifted, grinding my hips and within seconds, his cock had slipped inside. I was so wet and the moment his cockhead pushed past my pussy lips, I fell into utter rapture.
"You feel so good," he whispered, licking and nipping as he worked his way up my neck. He lifted my legs further up, peering down at me with a carnal expression, his eyes never leaving me as he kissed the inside of my thigh.
"Then fuck me. Just fuck me."
There was no holding back. He slid in and out, the weight of his body pressed against me. I was lost in the fantasy, sharing the most passionate moment.
I threw my arms up and he grasped my fingers in his hands, holding them together as he stared down at me. He never blinked, never seemed to take a breath as he plunged in faster and deeper.
The sensations were white hot, searing every blood cell until I was left breathless. "Oh. Yes..."
He finally smiled as he thrust in a brutal manner, pulling out until just the tip was inside them slamming into me again. We were two animals in the heat of the moment, our hunger swelling, our hearts racing. In a swift move, he rolled onto his back, forcing me to straddle him.
I planted my hands on his chest, giving him a naughty smile before sweeping my hair down over his face and chest.
"Don't tease me, little princess. Ride me. Take all you want because it's the last time you'll ever be in control." His words were husky, drilling into me, driving me to the point of madness. I could listen to the sound of his sultry voice for hours.
"We'll see about that." Purring, I did as he commanded, rocking up and down. Pinning my knees against him. "Like that?"
"Just like that." He rolled his hands over my shoulders, caressing my skin, his fingers tracing circles and lines.
I shuddered inside and out, rocking to the point he was slick from my wetness. I couldn't seem to get enough, the force of my movements pushing the headboard against the wall.
