I was given a room, an entire room to myself, a whole damn big and beautiful room! I was already loving this pack more than Dark Stone pack.
The best part of the room was the bed; it was a soft queen sized bed and had a nice white duvet and fluffy blanket on it. I couldn't control my excitement and started jumping on the bed, squealing in exhilaration. "I can't wait to sleep tonight!"
The door opened, and a young woman froze at my current action. She looked like she was 22, my age, or in her early twenties. She had shoulder-length black curly hair, beautiful caramel skin and hazel asian eyes.
She cleared her throat and walked in. "I didn't know someone was in here. I guess I should've knocked before entering." She walked in and dropped the small box she was holding, on the table.
I quickly got off the bed, clearing my throat. "I'm sorry. I'm Jane Williams, from the Dark Stone pack."
"Dark Stone? If you're in this room, then you're an omega. I feel so bad for you. I've heard about how they treat omegas in that pack. Those people are devils, sorry to say."
"Uh..." I scratched my arm. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't badmouth my pack and worsen my punishment.
"Anyway, I'm Chloe, I'm also an Omega here at Night Shadow pack."
"Really? It's nice to finally meet another omega." I grinned. "How does it feel to be a slave around here?"
"It isn't that bad." She shrugged. "We're more like maids; we'll split the workload between ourselves, so each person don't have to work too much, then we'll be paid by the end of the month. Some of us are trained to help us improve our strength. I'm currently undergoing training, so I might graduate from being an omega; it's boring to not be included in patrols and fights." She shrugged, taking a seat on the bed.
"Wow. You're so lucky." I envied her.
"I guess you might say that. How are you surviving with such an Alpha? Alpha Vladimir even makes sure to take care of us omega's specially." She winked.
"You're definitely lucky." I sighed. My stomach felt it was the perfect time to rumble again.
"Are you hungry? I just made dinner."
I wasn't certain if it was my time for eating yet, according to the rules, but I didn't care and nodded.
"Great! I'll bring dinner for you. Have a seat." She walked to the door and stopped. "Just so you know, we might have to share this room, and if you're not comfortable, I can clean an empty room for you."
"I don't mind at all. I could do with a roommate." I grinned at her, surprised that I was being this welcoming to a stranger.
"Me too. Bye." She skipped out of the room and down the hall, her curls bouncing with her.
What could one do to be a member of such anamazing pack?
I had never felt this much comfortable in my whole life. I had the best sleep of my life. Chloe was amazing to be with. Though she talked a lot, I loved her company.
I had the longest bath ever, the bathtub was just so amazing and felt new to me. When I was done, I wore an old black trouser I had, with a sweater, then tied my hair up into a ponytail.
I was told Alpha Keegan called for me. I hurried to the room I was told he was in and knocked on the door. After the third knock, he permitted me to come in. His room was way bigger than the one I stayed in. It had the black and gray vibes of the Alpha. There were a few things scattered on the bed and his bags were still unpacked.
"Do you need me for anything, Alpha?" I asked, walking closer to his bed.
"Just fix this room." His voice was husky from sleepiness. His dark brown hair was disheveled and he was shirtless, a blanket only covering his lower half. I hoped he was wearing underwear under that blanket. I had to admit that even in his sleepy state, he still looked very handsome. "Pass my laptop first."
I nodded and walked to the nightstand where his laptop sat, handing it over to him.
As I arranged his room, I felt uncomfortable under his gaze. He only glanced at his laptop a few times, but his eyes mostly watched my every move. I helped him arrange his belongings into the wardrobe.
"I'm done, Alpha. Is there anything else you'll need?" I asked, lowering my head to avoid meeting his gaze.
"Yes. Make me breakfast. It must be made by you. Remember you're still under punishment. Don't do anything stupid and don't forget your standards when you relate with others."
"Yes, Alpha." I bowed my head.
He jumped out of bed. I squealed, my eyes subconsciously traveled to his lower half and I let out a sigh of relief after realizing he was in his
boxers.
"What? Did you think I'll be naked?" He frowned. "You must think so highly of yourself to have expected that. Do you know how many people will pay a huge price just to see me naked?" He added the last sentence in a deeper voice than normal, and I was certain that if he was a normal human, he'd have smirked.
I swallowed audibly. "Excuse me, please." I scurried out of the room and back to my room, bumping into Chloe.
"I'm so sorry. Are you hurt?" I held her shoulders, creasing my
eyebrows.
"Nah, I'm fine. What's the problem? Do you need something?"
"No-actually, yes. I need to make breakfast for Alpha Keegan. Where's the kitchen?"
"There's breakfast already."
"No, please. I have to make it for him myself if I don't want to be dead meat. Alpha Keegan seems like he knows the difference in the food prepared by each person." I explained.
"Okay... let's go."
She held my hand and led me to the kitchen.
I made a quick breakfast and served it on the tray. While I was taking it to Alpha Keegan, I was stopped by Alpha Vladimir on the staircase. "Hey... you." He lifted a brow at me. "I hope you had a good night rest?"
"Yes, I did." I smiled, feeling heat rush to my cheeks again.
"May I know what the name of this gorgeous she-werewolf is?"
"Jane, I'm Jane Williams." I could feel my lower lip slowly going between my teeth to keep me from being more nervous.
"your name is just as beautiful as you are."
"Really?" My pack members always said my name was stupid. "< Thank you, Alpha Vladimir." I hoped I wasn't going to explode from blushing too much.
"Alpha Vladimir? My name is Vladimir Gray, there ain't no Alpha there. Just call me Vladimir." He leaned against the rail, folding his arms across his chest and flexing his muscles. Intentionally or not, it made me blush even more. "Your should also look at me when you speak, so I can explore the wonder in those beautiful and unique eyes."
I had never received this many compliments in my whole life, so it was making my heart swell.
"You're very kind, Vladimir." It sounded so great to call such a powerful person by his name without adding the title to it.
He brought his lips to my ear and whispered, "hearing my name from those lips makes it sound lush."
I felt goosebumps rise on my skin from the chills he gave me.
