Chapter 109 Are You Falling in Love with Him
She had already felt a dull pain in her lower abdomen, but being kissed by Frederick until she was dizzy, Rebecca hadn't realized it yet.
But now, the discomfort was becoming more and more obvious.
Finally catching on, Rebecca didn't dare to move.
Frederick also froze at the same time.
His eyes, full of desire, turned dark and bloodshot. A flash of anger crossed Frederick's eyes.
He'd gone too far!
He had originally wanted to take advantage of her being well-rested and alert to hear her say she missed him, or that she would definitely miss him in the future.
Who would have thought that not only did he fail to tease her, but he'd actually pushed himself into the forbidden zone of losing control.
Even his restrained words from last night about mutual affection now seemed like a hypocritical pretense.
Looking down again, he saw Rebecca's flushed cheeks, her neck and chest exposed above her nightgown, all tinged with a honey-pink color.
Every moment was testing his self-control.
Frederick suddenly rolled off and got up, threw back the covers, and went into the bathroom.
The sound of rushing water started. Rebecca pulled the covers over her head.
She felt both embarrassed and angry, while also thinking that if he could have a reaction but still forcibly hold back, he must truly love Alex's mom, right?
And that line about mutual affection.
Did it mean she should wait patiently? Wait until he could let go of his old love?
Then, thinking about what he said yesterday when leaving the garage: "I only like you."
She really wanted to know what Frederick was actually thinking.
Rebecca suddenly felt a bit sad.
Even she couldn't explain what exactly she was sad about.
When Frederick came out of the bathroom, it was already over half an hour later.
The bed was empty.
After changing clothes and going downstairs, Layla looked respectful, but her eyes showed some cautious observation. "Ms. Getty said she went to the garage to test drive, and will come back after she's done."
Layla could see clearly that Rebecca had been unhappy when she came downstairs.
When asked if she'd fought with Mr. Windsor, she shook her head and said no.
After a few more questions, she seemed completely distracted, her mind wandering somewhere else.
Looking up, the dining table was full of the lavish lunch prepared because of her return, but she was in such a hurry to avoid him that she left without eating a single bite.
His expression grew colder bit by bit, Frederick's eyes darkening.
That scene this morning must have scared her.
"Got it."
After responding in a low voice, Frederick walked over and sat down at the dining table.
After eating a few tasteless bites, he put down his chopsticks and went into the garage.
The Maybach drove straight toward Isabella's garage.
The garage was filled with the roaring sound of engines.
Two Ferraris, one white and one black, chased each other, and finally, the white Ferrari crossed the finish line first.
Getting out of the car, Rebecca felt all her pent-up frustration had disappeared with those thrilling laps just now.
"Tell me, what should I do to make him forget Alex's mom and fall in love with me?"
Taking off her helmet and tossing it back into the driver's seat, Rebecca slammed the car door and turned to look at Isabella.
"Love?"
Isabella squinted at Rebecca. "Don't tell me you've fallen in love with Mr. Windsor?"
"How is that possible?"
Rebecca instantly bristled. "I'm not, I haven't, don't talk nonsense!"
"Well then..."
Isabella spread her hands. "You don't love him either, so why do you care whether he loves you or not? No matter how much he cares about that woman from before, the fact is, he married you. You're Mrs. Windsor. That's Mr. Windsor we're talking about, Becca. While things are still hot, just lock him down."
Wasn't it about making Frederick satisfied?
What was she being so particular about?
Rebecca stood there in a daze.
