Chapter 59 She Was Despised Again!
Alex was wearing a white long down jacket, navy blue jeans, and ankle boots.
Not only that, Alex also wore a knitted hat with a pair of gloves hanging around his neck.
He looked completely dressed up for an outing.
Frederick froze.
Before he could get out the words "Alex, are you sure?", footsteps sounded from upstairs.
He turned around, and Frederick's eyes flickered slightly.
From waking up to eating breakfast, Frederick had been right there the whole time, hearing every word Rebecca and Alex exchanged.
Regarding what to wear for going out, the two hadn't discussed it at all—they hadn't even mentioned it once.
Yet at this moment, their outfits weren't just similar—they were identical.
The only difference was that Rebecca didn't have a hat or gloves, but wore a pair of cute rabbit earmuffs instead.
At a glance, they looked like a regular size and a mini version.
"Wow, matching sibling outfits!"
Rebecca jumped down the last step, looking at Alex with complete surprise.
After her exclamation, she caught Frederick's cool gaze.
Belatedly realizing the generational issue, Rebecca touched her nose and smiled apologetically at Frederick, "...Don't worry about the details!"
The Maybach sped out of Pinewood Mansion.
Half an hour later, it stopped in front of the amusement park.
"Bye Frederick..."
Waving at Frederick, Rebecca couldn't wait to take Alex's hand and get out of the car.
By the time Frederick parked the car and looked back, he saw the two of them each holding cotton candy, laughing and eating as they entered the amusement park gates.
"Mr. Windsor, we've arranged for people to follow them. Don't worry!"
A subordinate's report came through his earpiece. Frederick acknowledged and walked to the ticket window, bought a ticket, and leisurely followed them in.
Wherever they went, they attracted two hundred percent of the attention.
He was still thinking that Rebecca was right after all.
Then he heard a child's voice nearby, "Mommy, that man looks so pitiful!"
Following the sound, he met the sympathetic expression of a cute child.
Frederick looked around. Everyone else was either one adult with one child, two adults with one child, or two adults with two children. In short, each child was accompanied by one to four adults.
Only he was alone.
So it wasn't about the attention rate at all.
It was that Rebecca didn't want to play with him, right?
Frederick fell silent.
On the other side, Rebecca's brows were furrowed.
The jungle train.
The space shuttle.
Bumper cars.
...
By the time the carousel started up, Alex's expression had changed from calm indifference to complete resignation.
Looking at Rebecca, he seemed to be saying: Rebecca, you're really so childish!
So she was being looked down on again?
Rebecca fell silent.
"Alexander, can you be reasonable?"
Getting off the carousel, Rebecca poked Alex's face with her rabbit-gloved hand, "You're not tall enough. The only rides you can go on at the amusement park are these gentle, non-thrilling ones. How is that my fault?"
Huffily putting her hands on her hips, Rebecca dragged Alex over to stand in front of the amusement park map and study it.
After a long while, her eyes lit up, "Come on, I'll take you on something thrilling!"
A few minutes later, sitting on the drop tower called "Frog Jump," Rebecca's face was a bit pale.
All 8 seats in the row were full.
At a glance, besides a few kids, there was Alex.
She was the oldest.
And yet, she was the most afraid of this kind of up-and-down ride.
In front of her were the pointing and laughing faces of adults outside the barrier—she didn't know if they were laughing at her.
Around her were children screaming excitedly like crazy.
She heard the staff member loudly asking, "Are all the kids ready?"
Rebecca grabbed Alex's hand, "Alexander, can I back out?"
His clear eyes were full of laughter. Alex smiled and shook his head: No!
The drop tower rose steadily.
Rebecca: "Ahhh..."
Though quite far away, the instant Rebecca screamed, Frederick suddenly looked up and immediately spotted Rebecca in the center position of the drop tower.
And beside her, Alex with his bright smile.
His gaze fell back on Rebecca's face, and Frederick's eyes gradually warmed.
