Chapter 212 You Are Jealous
Rebecca could sense a fleeting heaviness in Frederick's expression, and she felt like she already knew the answer.
Then she heard Frederick curl his lips slightly. "I didn't confess."
Rebecca's eyes widened, her face full of confusion.
A man like Frederick—if he fell in love with someone, even if that person already had feelings for another, shouldn't they still feel a moment of flutter when hearing his confession?
But he said he didn't confess?
"She was already engaged to someone."
Looking straight into Rebecca's eyes, Frederick said in a low voice, "I saw the joy in her eyes, and I saw the relief on her parents' faces that their wish had come true. I was just a secret admirer who couldn't come into the light. At such a happy moment, of course, I should quietly exit and let her have her happiness."
Rebecca suppressed the flash of understanding in her eyes and let out a quietbreath. "So do you still love her?"
Rebecca's voice was soft and small.

As if the moment he dared to say he loved her, she would immediately kick him out of bed.
Putting all his weight on her and successfully making her frown, Frederick lowered his head to kiss her, "Becca, what do you think?"
'What do I think? Whether you love her or not, how would I know? Besides, does what I think even matter?' she thought to herself.
Turning her head to avoid his kiss, Rebecca reached out to push him. "Frederick, you're crushing me to death, get off!"
He could feel that Rebecca was angry.
Frederick felt inexplicably happy inside.
"Becca, tell me you're jealous!"
Holding her in his arms, he lowered his head and kissed her hard.
Frederick nibbled at her lips, his voice husky as he asked, "You're jealous, aren't you?"
Frederick's eyes were full of expectation, as if she should be jealous, as if this was the reaction she should have.
She was furious inside.
But Rebecca's face remained calm. While glaring at him, she bit him hard out of frustration, "Why would I be jealous? First of all, that has nothing to do with me. Even if you still love that girl now, she has someone she likes, and she didn't marry you, right? Frederick, I'm not jealous at all! Hmph!"

The air was filled with the scent of pears, blocking out the sandalwood scent from his body.

The alarm went off, accompanied by a knock on the door and Alexa's gentle voice outside."Becca, time to get up."
Rebecca jolted awake from her sleep, sat up abruptly, and kicked at Frederick."Quick, hide!"
