Chapter 189 Is It Beautiful
Her body felt stuffy and hot, and so did his embrace.
She couldn't tell if it was her warmth or his.
But every time Rebecca tried to pull away a little, Frederick would immediately follow and hold her even tighter in his arms.
Rebecca's voice was weak when she spoke.
When Frederick's palm slid down to her waist, before Rebecca could even let out a feeble plea, he began to massage gently.
Rebecca's body relaxed, and she lazily leaned into his embrace.
She didn't even know when she fell asleep again. By the time Rebecca opened her eyes, the sky outside the window was already turning to dusk.
"Frederick, this is all your fault!"
"Okay, my fault... It's all my fault!"
"Then get out!"
"No way!"
One dodged, the other pursued.
Sensing something was wrong, Rebecca's voice carried a crying tone from embarrassment, "Frederick, you're going too far! If you keep this up, I'll knowingly do it again next time!"
As soon as the words fell, the air between them suddenly froze.
Rebecca bit her lip, not daring to lift her head.
The danger passed. Frederick compromised, but his voice was full of threat, "Knowingly do it again? Becca, you're welcome to try!"
The hair on her back was standing up. Rebecca knew clearly that if she dared to try, she'd definitely end up exhausted in bed.
"Bad guy! So bad!"
Huffing angrily, she pushed him away. Rebecca got up and out of bed, fleeing into the bathroom like she was flying.
Watching Rebecca's agile figure, Frederick narrowed his eyes on the bed.
He knew he shouldn't have gone soft!
"Becca..."
Just as her body sank into the warm water, before Rebecca could let out a comfortable sigh, Frederick's voice came from outside the door, "Did you forget something?"
Rebecca paused, "What?"
Frederick sighed helplessly, as if he wasn't going to pursue it anymore, and just said in a low voice, "Benjamin is back. We're having dinner together tonight. Don't soak yourself for too long."
Rebecca's face lit up.
A social engagement meant she wouldn't be confined to bed tonight.
"Okay! Coming right away!"
Calling out cheerfully, Rebecca grabbed the essential oil from the shelf and poured it generously into the bathtub.
After washing up and sitting at the vanity, the moment she opened the drawer, Rebecca finally remembered what she had forgotten.
She had promised to wear that necklace for him to see.
Walking to the dressing room, Rebecca chose a plain white long dress with grass-green tones spreading across it.
She put on the necklace.
Then the bracelet.
Even without makeup, the woman in the mirror already radiated endless gentle grace.
Under the orange floor lamp, it added a touch of splendor.
"Frederick? Honey?"
"Mr. Windsor!"
Determined to give him a surprise, Rebecca called out.
When Frederick appeared again, he was already in fresh clothes.
His suit pants were perfectly straight.
His shirt was crisp.
Frederick walked into the master bedroom while tying his tie, "What's wrong?"
Before he finished speaking, the dressing room door swung open.
Rebecca, who had deliberately struck a seductive pose, threw him a flirtatious look, "Mr. Windsor, do I look good?"
Frederick's hand paused on his tie.
Since they came back last night, the bedroom's main light hadn't been turned on. Only the floor lamp in the corner had been on all night.
In the dim yellow light, Rebecca, standing in the dressing room, looked beautiful like an elf.
Actually, she didn't need to bother striking poses herself.
From chest to hips, she herself was a perfect body curve.
Especially that slender waist—it seemed like he could wrap both hands around it.
Frederick's eyes gradually deepened.
"Beautiful!"
He pulled off the half-tied tie and tossed it on the bed. Frederick walked forward slowly, "Becca, you look better than the necklace."
His words were gentle.
But his eyes looking at her weren't saying the same thing.
Rebecca stepped back quickly, barely retreating to the wall before Frederick pressed her into the corner.
