Chapter 160 Frederick Is Acting Strange Today
"I... I never said I wouldn't have kids!"
Breathing softly, Rebecca looked at him innocently. "It was Grandma who brought it up. I hadn't even thought about having children, okay?"
"So, do you want to have my children?"
Seeing that Rebecca wasn't deliberately brushing him off, the fierceness in Frederick's eyes gradually faded. He lowered his head and kissed her gently. "Will you?"
"Frederick, I don't know."
Stirred by his kisses, Rebecca's eyes were bright and watery, with a hint of red at the corners. "Mom said that when she married Dad, all she could think about was having two children, so they could be each other's best playmates and friends. That way, when she and Dad got old and left us, we'd still have each other to rely on."
"But after having me, Mom changed her mind!"
As if remembering her parents and that happy Getty family, Rebecca lowered her head and said softly, "Mom said everyone plays favorites. If there were a younger brother or sister, she'd inevitably favor one over the other. So she and Dad decided to only have me and give me all their love."
"Frederick..."
Looking up at Frederick, Rebecca said gently, "I don't know if I want to have children, or how many I'd want to have in the future. Can we just deal with the future when it comes?"
It seemed as if Frederick was moved by Rebecca's sincere explanation.
Or perhaps, as long as she was willing to explain, he was willing to believe.
Frederick nodded. "Okay!"
Gentle kisses fell on her forehead, the corners of her eyes, then tenderly lingered on her lips.
Frederick tasted the sweetness in her mouth, his voice husky as he said, "Becca, if you have children, they can only be with me, okay?"
Her dazed mind instantly snapped back to clarity. Rebecca bit him, and as he loosened his grip, she asked with amusement, "Mr. Windsor, do you want to hear what you just said?"
Belatedly realizing she was Mrs. Windsor and could only have children with him.
But Frederick showed no embarrassment about his slip of the tongue.
There was just a glimmer of light in his eyes. "So, Becca, you won't leave me. You'll always be by my side, right?"
Rebecca felt something was off about Frederick today!
It was as if those three words "have children" had triggered some nerve in him.
Rebecca frowned as she studied Frederick, wondering what was wrong with him.
Not getting a response from Rebecca, Frederick lowered his head to kiss her again.
"Frederick..."
In public, Frederick was fairly restrained, only occasionally touching her face, ruffling her hair, or holding her hand under the table.
In private, Frederick lost Mr. Windsor's proper composure, as if he constantly wanted to kiss and hold her.
The moment Frederick's hot palm slipped under her sweater hem and grasped her slender waist, Rebecca's body trembled slightly, nearly melting in his arms.
"Frederick... honey..."
Pushing his hand through her clothes to stop him from going further up, Rebecca called out sweetly, "Alex must have been waiting for me for so long. Shall we go see him?"
The phrase "waiting for so long" seemed to trigger something in Frederick's mind again.
Frederick's kisses became more intense.
His palm moved upward, capturing that soft fullness.
