Chapter 154 Werewolf
Rebecca was sitting at the dining table, and it was already late at night.
More than an hour had passed since Frederick said he'd let go.
Eating the black pepper beef fried rice, as if every green pea or piece of beef she chewed and ground between her teeth was Frederick, Rebecca huffed angrily, "Frederick, you're going to lose my trust like this!"
"Oh?"
Frederick took the dish out of the oven and pushed it in front of Rebecca, looking straight into her eyes and saying, "Becca, look into my eyes and say that again."
Rebecca froze.
Frederick leaned closer, his expression serious as he said, "You were clearly enjoying it too, weren't you?"
Rebecca was completely stunned.
Even though she knew full well that only the two of them were in the villa and no third person had heard what he said, Rebecca still felt the kind of embarrassment that made her want to crawl into a hole and hide.
Seeing that Rebecca was about to get embarrassed and annoyed, Frederick stopped teasing her.
He just reached out and ruffled her hair, his voice low, "Next time, I..."
The words were on the tip of his tongue, but not daring to be too certain, Frederick changed his words, "I'll try to control myself!"
Rebecca glared at him and took a fierce bite of a large shrimp.
After dinner, they watched a movie for a while.
The clock pointed to 1 o'clock, and Rebecca yawned.
But she didn't want to go upstairs to the bedroom at all.
Frederick at night, especially Frederick, who had tasted sweetness last night, was like a werewolf.
But she was really so sleepy!
After another yawn, Rebecca looked up at Frederick, her eyes resentful, "Frederick, you don't actually like me as much as you say you do, right?"
Frederick froze.
Rebecca said quickly, "The way you're acting, you clearly just want to torture me to death and then marry a new wife. Isn't that right?"
Rebecca lifted her chin, looking at him with a challenging gaze, and after finishing her words, she even snorted lightly through her nose.
Even knowing she was deliberately trying to provoke him, Frederick still felt an itch in his heart.
He wanted nothing more than to pull her into his arms and punish her thoroughly, listening to her cry and take back her words.
"Becca, trying to provoke me won't work."
With a sweep of his long arm, pulling Rebecca back into his embrace, Frederick's voice carried a smile, "I've told you, you can't blame me for this. You have to take most of the responsibility!"
After saying this, Frederick picked up Rebecca and headed upstairs, "I promise I won't touch you tonight. Is that good enough?"
Rebecca wanted to ask, what about tomorrow night?
If she asked, Frederick would definitely confuse her again, making her feel that his indulgence was half her responsibility.
Then, with all that back and forth, who knows, she might even lose tonight, too.
Rebecca chose to get through tonight first.
After quickly washing up and diving under the covers, Rebecca was clearly so tired her eyelids were heavy, but there was always a voice in her head reminding her that there was something important she hadn't done.
After a while, Rebecca remembered.
"Frederick..."
Rebecca's drowsy voice with a nasal tone sounded, and Frederick walked to the bedside to see Rebecca say with her eyes closed, "On the vanity... right-hand side... black box... your gift."
"Becca, is it a gift for me?"
After asking once more, Rebecca was already breathing evenly, having fallen asleep just like that.
Turning his head to glance at the vanity, Frederick walked over and opened the cabinet on the right-hand side.
Right there, a palm-sized black jewelry box.
