Chapter 72 Another goodbye

Chapter 72 Another goodbye
Simon squints at me as I sit down in my seat with a hiss, my ass still on fire from last night.
"What the fuck is up with you?" He asks with suspicion. "Because last time I checked, one of the other girls hooked up with our friend Juho. He was apparently a freak in the sheets. You missed out big time."
I wince, thankful that we don't have a show today. I'm quite literally paying the price for being a freak in the sheets right now.
"Good for him." I try to adjust on my side rather than sitting fully on my ass. "How long is this flight again?"
"Not long." Simon fastens his seatbelt. "So, are you going to tell me who you've been fucking?"
I feel my face burning. Is it that obvious?
"It's written all over your face girl, I know a woman in love when I see one." He waggles his eyebrows at me. "So did this mystery man fly all the way out here to get some? No wonder you left the club early. Or did you get back with Ben?"
"Let's make one thing clear, I will never get back with Ben." I hold my hand up. "That ship has sailed."
"And you're still not gonna tell me why you guys broke up?"
I take a deep breath and close my eyes. "Benedict Cargill is toxic, the kind you run far away from when you see it."
"Toxic could be fun." Simon nudges my shoulder and I smile at him. "So do we have a fuck buddy or what."
I wink at him. "Something like that."
"You are just a trunk full of secrets!"
I think of Miguel then. About the way he confessed his love for me. It's too much, too soon, right? Plus, there's the pesky fact that he's my ex-fiance's older brother. The press will have a fucking field day with that.
I want to keep him a secret, but I don't want to stop seeing him. He makes me feel too alive, even when he hurts me, like last night.
My ass clench in remembrance at the way he pushed three fingers into my ass to prepare it for him. But there's nothing that can prepare me for when he pushes inside me, whether it's in my pussy or ass. The stretch burns deliciously, and when he starts pounding into me, it feels like I'm losing my sanity.
In a great way.
My parents can't join me on the trip because it's football season.
I actually find it refreshing not spending Christmas in the city. I'm with other dancers exploring places we haven't been, seeing things in real life most people could only dream of.
We're eating gyozas in Japan on our last leg of our tour before going home, everyone laughing at some things or the other, when Gregory takes the empty seat next to me.
"You good?" He asks.
"Great." I smile nervously at him. It's weird having him in the company of the dancers. He hardly has dinner with us.
"You've done really well on this tour, and to think you almost didn't make it."
I pull a face at him. "I know, right. I'm so glad I sorted my ankle out when I did."
"I wasn't talking about your ankle." Gregory says seriously, making me frown.
"Were you not going to cast me?"
That wouldn't make sense. He would've at least casted me in the ensemble.
"Oh, you didn't know about your fiance threatening me if I casted you after you got back from rehab?" His eyebrows lift mockingly.
"Ben?" I slowly put my chopsticks down.
"Well, unless you have another fiance."
"He's not. " I gulp. "He's not my fiance anymore."
Gregory looks at me for a long time as if he can see things in my life that I don't.
"I'm so sorry, Gregory, I know it's very unprofessional for ones private life to interfere with work."
He nods in agreement. "Good riddance, then. I don't ever listen to someone threatening me, he best believe whatever he say won't have an impact on my decision."
"Again, I'm so sorry."
Gregory brushes me off. "I know it didn't have anything to do with you. Plus, your family is big sponsors to the company, so his status doesn't matter to us "
Will I ever have the opportunity to get rid of him? Or will he follow me everywhire I go?
I don't want to come out and just ask Gregory, but again I wonder what the hell could he threaten him with.
