Chapter 96
Birth.
"It's okay to have cramps while pregnant but these are excruciating pain babe I don't think it's the normal cramps I always have it's crazy ill go take a piss," Isabella said as she stood up to go do her business in the bathroom.
"Oh my God babe did you piss the bed?" Tommy asked looking at the wet mess that had been formed in the middle of the bed a very deep puddle of piss.
"Are you a dummy, !" she screamed before holding her stomach and then she apologised for screaming to no one in particular.
"Babe I think my water broke " before she could finish her sentence Tommy was out the door with the emergency bag before rushing back in to hold her and just being a man in confusion when his wife or girlfriend was in labour.
"Tommy can you calm down I am the one in pain and not you stop hovering around me as though you've some ants in your pants calm the hell down." Isabel scolded him and he listened and stood still not understanding what was happening.
"We are about to give birth baby please be fast with what is happening," Isabella said and then went off to the car and opened the door slowly but surely she finally entered the car and sat there just looking at places for the last huge contraction then she jumped up and then before she told him to begin driving.
And Tommy started driving and he was certain that he was going to make it to the hospital if she didn't keep making uneasy sounds.
"Babe am sorry!" he kept apologising he didn't like the feeling of having her go through the pain and wished that he was the person in pain and not her, a lot of thought came to mind that he was feeling like he wanted to be in the same position as she was in.
"Don't feel that way baby it's just the normal of childbirth okay?" she tried to console him and he couldn't understand why he had to be the one who was consoled when she was the one in pain it was confusing but the drive to the hospital was excruciatingly slow and he was just trying not to be too fast and reckless in his journey to make her feel like she was in a mad road rush.
She then just sat down there praying that he might reach the hospital safely she finally arrived at the hospital and then he went on to the doctors and called the nurses as they brought the wheelchair and took her out of the car and brought her out and took her into the labour room it was okay that they were going to take her and she turned and told Tommy to come to join her in the room for moral support while she was pushing out their baby.
They had to take him and arrange him and also sanitised everything on him and give him a hospital robe so that he was going to be safe to enter the hospital labour room on entering he saw his wife's legs hung up on the bed wide open and waiting for their baby to come out.
"You shall be fins baby I am here for you, please just be fine for us and be strong for us both I am here," he said as he looked deep into her eyes and the tears that were pouring out of her eyes he just wanted to hold her right and kiss away the pain from her.
Push and push then that was when it got her to make everyone in the room feel the love that oozed from their words and how he was making her feel he ribbed her shoulders and also told her not to cry so much.
She was the one who had refused an epidural birth, he had insisted she had an epidural birth but she insisted on natural birth and sheesh she was in pain after having to stay there for about seven hours she had been in the labour room and finally, she gave birth to their beautiful baby girl who looked a mixture of her father, grandmother, and her mother and Isabella went deep into sleep as she was tired from all the energy she had exerted while giving birth to the baby.
She then awake when the baby had to come down for the skin-to-skin binding with her baby who had been cleaned and her beautiful cries made her happy that the baby was fine and exhibiting the normal things the babies always have.
She was fine and Tommy was smiling all the time as he called the family to tell them that she had given birth everyone especially her mother ran to the airport to come to the hospital to meet them there she couldn't believe she had become a grandmother so soon and she was excited although all of them knew they were expecting the baby in a month maybe she just wanted to meet her parents this early and her grandma too.
So they all took their bags and rushed to the airport while Tommy was having skin-to-skin with his baby he could still not believe that they had become okay after all the hassles with the crazy Vanessa they were finally a complete happy family.
Not to forget they called the baby's good parents that is Micheal and Jackie rushed to the hospital after hearing the news with Micheal giving him a congratulation bump and telling him he was the man of the show now that the baby had arrived Jackie went to her friend and just wanted to stay by the beauty she kept asking Isabel if the birthing process hurt but Isabella asked her if they told her it hurt she just might not want to give birth typo al Jackie she was a scared cat who would have run out the door if she was told how it was all for the child to come to the world.
She was happy to see all her family members and friends who had come to see her and the baby.
After the baby's vitals were checked and all the doctors assured them they would be leaving the hospital in three days so they had to rush back to prepare a welcome something for the baby and everyone who was going to come to visit them when they got he and funniest of all was when the doctor warned them about having any sexual relationship for the next six weeks Tommy looked like a poppy who had been recused a bone but then again he was glad that he could allow his wife rest her body from the stress she had just gone through to give birth to their beautiful princess he was a happy man and w9uodnt let anyone be with reminding them that his wife had out to birth he called his worker at the office and invited them out for drinks on him he was happy to have a reincarnation of his mother being borne by the woman who he lived so much he couldn't hold his happiness in any longer.
Three days were here and finally, they were going home she didn't know that they had put up a surprise for her she was excited to find that they had made her a beautiful welcome back.
She was happy when she saw this and she teared up as she thanked them for her surprise and the gifts that she had received for her and the baby.
They all ate and drank but Isabella who was breastfeeding and could not take a beer or wine but could take whiskey because she had to make sure that she was cleaned from the dirty blood and other things which had to go out of her body and also the fact that she had to make sure she was free from all the dirt blood in her body and then get back to misbehaving with her baby boo and the postpartum process was another thing nobody wanted her about she was still looking for a way to be fine with the entire process because it was like she was still pregnant with how she cried and how she was just feeling bad when she lashed out on Tommy from time to time but she was always apologising but she was also happy that she had a husband who was understanding too.
They all had to work together so that she would be able to overcome to accept the process of postpartum depression.

Isabella POV
Nobody told me postpartum was going to be this hard, I felt like I would never get back to my normal size, and I felt like I hated my body, the only thing which made me excited was the fact that I was looking at my baby anti was happy she was born safe and sound after me being unhappy and scared that I would not be able to give birth naturally.
I was happy that I had a healthy relationship with my husband who understood that women's bodies did don't have to go back to normal after a week or a month of giving birth and he was not making me feel worthless he adored the ground I walked on and it was exciting to find that he was there when j wanted him to be there.
He was a proud father I could see that in his eyes from when he looked at me in the labour room hospital bed he was scared and I was scared but he made sure he made me believe in the aspect of teamwork t some point I thought he was the one who was pushing the baby out for me he was sweating more than I did and that alone ha e me the strength to have through the whole process.
Mind you I could never accept what they said about children being understandable with their parents my angle right decided that she would be a pain in my ass especially after she had suckled and I placed her down to have a good nap she would open her eyes and guess what I would have to carry around till she decided it was time for me to rest and when she had given me that opportunity the drowsiness I felt must have left my body and I would have to go about the house looking like a hot mess damn.
Pregnancy giving birth and everything was a process to be taught while in school and nobody had to voluntarily give birth but hey I was happy for this gift and I speak I am up at 1 am because my bay
by doesn't want me to go to bed she just wanted me to be up watching her as she looked me in the eyes.
I guess she just wanted me to bond with her but can Kate let me sleep her daddy was out like a log of wood because she was not just not disturbing her dad during the night but she was hell-bent on suckling at this hour I thought just any boys did this but I was wrong for sure.
I had just placed her on her seat and rocking back and forth she had slowly drifted off to sleep that was how I went to sleep too and it was 5 am at this point I heard Tommy enter the baby room and carry me to our bed and I couldn't open my eyes because if I did open my eyes it would have been so bad my under eyelids had eyes bags and I had to use aloe vera which had been scraped and put in the freezer at least it helped me and then I received breakfast in bed by my beautiful husband as I went off to dispose of the pad I had worn yesterday to remove and rake my bath before putting on a new one.
