Chapter 33 Chapter 33

Chapter 33 Chapter 33
At that moment, after hearing what Liam said, Megan nodded for a moment.
Then she stepped forward and placed her finger carefully on the fingerprint scanner.
The machine read her print almost instantly, A soft beep sounded.
Then a green light flashed.
Within seconds, Director Liam gave a small nod.

“It’s done,” he said.
He straightened slightly, his tone returning to its usual professional calm.
“Madam, what would you like your transaction limit to be?” he asked. “Or would you prefer that we make the card unlimited for transactions?”

Megan paused to think.
Truthfully, she did not even know what she would be spending money on for now. At the moment, there was nothing she urgently wanted to buy, nothing she immediately needed to acquire.
So instead of answering his question directly, she asked one of her own.
“How much is in the account linked to this card?”

Liam inclined his head slightly.
“Please hold on a moment,” he said. “Let me check that for you.”
Even before looking, he already knew one thing for certain.
For any Diamond card, the minimum amount tied to it would never be less than ten billion dollars.
And from the moment he confirmed that it was truly a Diamond card, he had already known the balance would be well above ten billion dollars.

He also knew something else.
Mr. Oliver was not the kind of man who gave instructions carelessly. If he had personally ensured that Megan would be attended to, then she was clearly no ordinary customer. Whether Liam fully understood her place in the larger picture or not, one thing was certain she was someone who had to be treated with the utmost respect.
So, with careful professionalism, he went ahead to check the account balance.
His fingers moved across the system, his eyes scanned the screen.

And then he saw the figurer, Immediately, his eyes widened.
His mouth actually fell open.
For a brief second, all composure left his face.
“What the hell…?” he muttered under his breath, the words slipping out before he could stop them.
The whisper was low, but not low enough, Megan heard it.
Realizing himself, Liam quickly cleared his throat and straightened, trying to regain his professional posture.

Then he looked at her and said, far more carefully this time, “From what I can see, the balance in this account is currently over five hundred billion dollars.”
He paused, almost as if even he still could not quite believe the number.
“That is the amount linked to this card.”

Megan simply nodded.
Though deep down she still had no clear idea what she would even use that kind of money for, she did not let it show on her face.
Instead, she answered calmly, “No problem, then. You can make the card unlimited.”
Without wasting another second, Liam nodded.
“Alright then,” he said. “I’ll make it unlimited.”

His hands moved professionally as he adjusted the settings, but inwardly, his thoughts were anything but calm.
Deep down, Liam could hardly believe what he had just seen.
Yes, he had met billionaires before.
Yes, he had dealt with powerful people, influential clients, and individuals whose names alone could open doors.
But this—This was something else entirely.

A woman he had never heard of, a woman who, until today, had seemed like a complete mystery.
And yet she held a Diamond card linked to an account containing over five hundred billion dollars.
That alone was enough to unsettle him, but what troubled him even more was Mr. Oliver’s attitude toward her.

Oliver had been unusually serious.
Unusually careful, almost anxious.
And men like Oliver did not behave that way without reason.
So the more Liam thought about it, the more obvious it became that Megan was far more important than she appeared on the surface.
There was something extraordinary about her, Something hidden.
Something powerful.

And from everything he had seen so far, whatever that truth was, it was not small.
It was extreme, It was the kind of reality that could change the way people saw her completely.
And in that very moment, another thought quietly crept into Liam’s mind.
This was someone he would want to be close to, not merely out of curiosity.

Not merely because of her wealth.
But because if someone like Megan truly chose to help, she could change lives including his own family’s, who were currently drowning in a financial crisis he had not yet been able to solve.
And right then, Liam realized that Megan was exactly the kind of person he would want to get close to.

At that moment, Liam wasted no time.
Without the slightest hesitation, he personally adjusted the settings on the card and removed every transaction restriction attached to it. Once he was done, he stepped toward Megan, bent deeply in a respectful bow, and held the card out to her with both hands.
“As you requested, Mrs. Megan,” he said, his voice careful and formal, “your card is now set to unlimited. You may carry out any transaction without encountering a limit.”
