When he went back to his office her found her on the terrace looking out into the night sky. He leaned on the doorway asking, what are you looking at? Just watching she replied. Nirka made then stand then dismounted her horse that the stable hand was waiting for. She went over to the guard who were hugging her all so very happy that she was there. The others dismounted and were waiting Nirka yelled, fall in! everyone stood in rows waiting for her to give the go, they already know what role they played in taking back the castle and getting rid of King Trevor. Nirka wave for Brandon and Devon to go, they entered not the secret passage and when the door closed tight Brandon lit a torch, he whispered to Devon be careful the stone steps are slippery. Devon nodded, and slowly followed Brandon up the steps there were no hand railing just steps cut out of stone Devon wondered how Nirka and her sisters ever played in the passageways with out falling and being seriously hurt. Brandon stopped we are almost to the first-floor library when we get there we will cross over to the dinning room and make our way up from there. Devon nodded again and followed Brandon. Brandon stopped and put out the touch handing it to Devon, he slowly opened the door to the library about an inch he saw the dark witch in the library looking up something in a book. He closed the door quickly the stone scraping as it closed. The dark witch heard the noise but did not know where it came from, she asked is anyone there. Not getting an answer she went back to looking in the book she was studying. Now what asked Devon, there I another way but we could be seen if we are you keep going and get Father out. I will handle them. They should all be rounded up by now, but some may have been on different patrols. Brandon went down a few steps and re lit the torch. They went back down and went threw a long very narrow tunned, Brandon told Devon Bring Father down the original route. They twisted and turned in the tunnel Devon said how does Jenny manage to get threw these and quickly too. Brandon laughed after doing it for 3 centuries it is a piece of cake. When you come out into the kitchen don’t stop go right to the library and down to the stables, your horses will be ready a guard will cloak you both and get Father to the cottage. I will Devon said. They finally came to some stones that were made into stairs and went up; they were outside of father’s chambers Brandon cracked the door just a little to hear inside.
