Then they started to play a slow song, Devon and Nirka went to the dance floor and as like their first dance last time they started away from each other with their hand in the air going half a circle turning and walking back each time getting closer to each other, when their hands finally touch he took her into his arm and they started doing the human waltz Devon Dipped her and kissed her then brought back to standing and wrapped his arms around n, the music changed and Devon and Nirka left the dance floor. All the women were coming up and telling Nirka how beautiful she was, and the ceremony was so beautiful. They were saying how romantic the dance was, Devon had disappeared for a minute and came back with two champagne flues and handed one to Nirka. Devon then wrapped his one arm around her waist and stood slightly behind her pulling her next to his body. Mike took the microphone again and looked around the room Most of you know how Devon joined our group then we became a family and now a whole community he is like a brother to me. But 11 years ago, I was out scouting and something spooked my horse by the river and I was bucked off the horse who then trampled me. I was near death when Nirka and Brandon found me that day. Nirka took me to her home not knowing where I was from when I woke up I had no memory of anything Nirka sat with me everyday trying to help me get back my memories. The music changed to faster music it was good, but the dancing was something Nirka had never seen before she slipped her hand into Devons and why went off the dance floor. Nirka was laughing but as soon as the song was over, she ran back to Devon. going into his arms she said she would rather just watch. He laughed. I don’t see you dancing she said to him you know this stuff yah but I’m not much of a dancer I like dancing with you. They both started to laugh when the young people got Sarah up to dance, she was loving every minute of it. when they played another slow song. Devon and Nirka went and dance a traditional waltz. Susan and Joel stood at their posts by the doors keeping a watch on Nirka and Sarah. They were enjoying the music and how people were dancing. Mike had asked them to join in the festivities but they declined saying they were there on protective duty. Mia brought them food and drinks and they thanked her. Mia asked then do you ever have fun? Joel answered of course we do we have our lives outside of being guards but we were selected for this mission out of hundred because of our skills. We take our duty to Mother and little Mother very serious. Mike went up to Nirka and Devon how you both doing, Nirka smiled but Devon said just great, thank you for throwing this party. Got to have fun sometimes right. Your guards take they jobs very seriously he said to Nirka, Nirka was about to answer but Devon did they do they know that if something happens to Nirka or Sarah when they get home there will be sever punishments. They are top guards and have special skills that is why Brandon chose them to come along. He pulled Nirka closer and said to Mike this is my whole world right here and Sarah is like a daughter to me. Mike said I total understand you bro. the three of them talked for a while she told Mike she was going to Knight Brandon and then make him her second and Knight Ryan and make him her third. But shh it is a surprise. When Sarah turns 25 or 30, I will pass down the crown to her and retire to the cottage with Devon. but we have a few years before that happens and a lot of learning to do by Sarah. Tho she will learn to rule in her own way like I did. Those were Nirka plans but she did not know that there was trouble brewing that could ruin everything.
