Not hearing any voices, he went into the chambers; Father was standing looking out the window but really just staring into space. Brandon put his hand on Fathers shoulder. Brandon Father said, good to see you again. then he saw Devon coming into the room, he went over to him and hugged him, I’m so sorry son, you must be in so much pain. Brandon linked Devon do not tell him she is alive until you are at the cottage, or he will not leave the castle, Devon nodded to Brandon, Devon just hugged father back, then moved away and told Him to get his coat it is cold outside. Why father asked where we are going. Brandon said Devon is you a safe place do not argue your life is in danger. Father nodded. he put on his coat and grabbing his pictures, said to Devon lead the way son. he always trusted and listened to Brandon so if Brandon told him to go with Devon, then that is what he would do. Once Devon and Father were in the passageway Brandon closed the secret entrance and went to do his next part of the mission. Taking father by the hand he helped him down the passageway through the kitchen seeing the library was empty, so he went and opened the next passageway and after getting father in and closing it they went down into the stables. The horses were ready, Nirka, Ryan and Gwen had already left to go up the passages to Trevon’s office and chambers. When they got to the stables father asked where are we going? Devon said to him a very special place. they helped father up on to the horse and the guard cloaked them and told them they had only 10 minutes to get into the forest. Father followed Devon into the forest and when they found the trail devon slowed their pace they were safe now. They got to the cottage Devon dismounted and helped father down then took the horse to the pen and tied them. Father sat on the front porch bench, crying, Devon asked him what it is father, my evil son killed our beautiful Nirka, I don’t know if he got Sarah or not the witch told me they were going to kill her, but I don’t’ know. Father come into the house, and we can have some whiskey no father said I would prefer coffee, coming up have a seat make yourself comfortable you are safe here. Devon was trying to find the words to tell him. When Father said again who’s gobbet is that? Finally, Devon Just said Nirka’s. Father almost dropped his coffee, with tear in his eyes he said she is alive. Yes, Father Devon said Trevor did kill her with poison, but Jenny came up with this centuries old tail that worked, after 4 days Nirka woke up. Will she live for eternity now Father asked crying tears of joy that his little girl was alive. Devon nodded we think so. Where is she he asked Devon looking around. Father, Ryan, Nirka and Gwen have gone to take care of Trevor and his dark witch. Who is Gwen, father asked. Gwen is Ryans mother. Father sat and asked Devon a lot of question about everyone and the dragons. Father ran his hands through his hair – im sorry for everything I did, I hope Nirka can find it in her heart to forgive me, I will reinstate he as mother and there will be no ramifications for her killing her bother.
