As they rode in the wagon Nirka told Devon she was thinking about having Ryan move the cottage closer to Gwen’s, but she would talk to him about it when they got back. Devon and Nirka were both so excited to be going home to see their human family. Ryan had wanted to go too but Nirka told him not this trip with Issabel beings so close to delivering the pups she would need him let a lone never forgive him for leaving to go adventuring. He knew she was right but all the same worried about Nirka and Sarah safety. They packed up everything they would need the packed a box with blocks of ice for in her canteens of drink Nirka would need to take with her. they would have Brandon and Devon hunt for more when the time came that were getting low. Sarah did not need to have it every day yet so they were confident that they would be good in that department. Devon Nirka and Sarah took the first wagon Jenny and Brandon the second wagon and Susan and Joel the third. The sun was high in the sky when they went through the passageway they would drive for a few hours before they set up camp for the night. Nirka said in a link to everyone let’s find a place to camp for the night. They put the wagons in a triangle and the men unhitched the horse groomed and fed them, Nirka put up an inviable barrier around the wagons and horses, as Sarah watched. When Nirka was done Sarah asked her if she would learn how to do that, Nirka assured her she would. Next time you can help me Nirka told Sarah we will see how powerful your magic is getting. Sarah smiled she liked when her aunt taught her new things. Jenny, Sarah and Susan started dinner for everyone. Devon came up behind Nirka pulled her into his arms then handed her a canteen drink love he said. Thank you, she replied and turned her head and give him a kiss. Then took opened the canteen only drinking half. Saving the rest for before bed. As they all ate dinner Sarah was full of questions about where they were and about how much it was different from her realm. Devon tried to answer most of the questions. It was a clear night all the starts were shining everyone was lazing around the campfire talking. Devon got up and told Nirka he would be right back he went to get his guitar, Brandon seeing what Devon was doing went and got his too. They came back to the fire and Brandon and Devon agreed to a song in a link and they both began to play. Nirka leaned over to Sarah saying this has been a perfect night. Sarah agreed with her. they hoped that every night would be just like this one. Not soon after Sarah started yawning and started to fall asleep, so Nirka got up and took Sarah’s hand come on little one Nirka said it is time for bed. Devon got up with Nirka, they said their goodnights and Nirka said she wanted to get going not to late into the morning. The others stayed by the fire for a bit longer, then decided to retire for the evening Nirka tucked Sarah into bed good night little mother then went to the other side of the wagon pulling the sheet across that divided the two sleeping areas. Nirka went over and laid down in Devon’s arms he pulled her close and wrapped them in a blanket he gave her a kiss good night and she laid her head on his chest and fell asleep. Devon listened to the sounds around them, he could hear a steam probably not to far away he heard an owl hooting, he smiled it was nice to be home and not soon after felling asleep. Brandon knocked on the wood of the wagon, you three getting up any time soon he laughed. Nirka sat up what time is it, about 6 Mother, Brandon please don’t call me that on this trip, Brandon sulked you take away all my fun she threw a pillow at him he caught it and hand her, the canteen he had brought over for her. Devon was awake and laughing at them both. I’m up too Sarah said laughing, Devon went out of the wagon and dropped down the bed flap so Nirka and Sarah could get down easily I’m going to go hunt he told Nirka and gave her a kiss be back shortly. Nirka got down and helped Sarah down, that’s when she saw her eyes. Sarah, have you had your thirst in the past few days. Sarah put her head down yes auntie, but I did not want to bother anyone. Sarah that is not a bother you need it to sustain your life you need to always ask one of us it does not matter what we are doing that comes first she passed Sarah her canteen and told her to drink it all. Sarah said that’s yours, I can get another one drink it. yes auntie. After Sarah drank the canteen, she felt much better, and they went to join the others for breakfast. Nirka linked Brandon and asked for another Canteen telling him about Sarah and that she would have got get Jenny to help keep an eye on her, we all will Brandon said. She will learn in time as we did with you. Nirka smiled and closed the link. Brandon linked Jenny and told her she nodded her head to Nirka. Devon had just got back he looked all full of energy now. Devon sat down putting Nirka between his legs, they were trying to figure out how much time until they got to Mike and Mia’s.
