Chapter 103 103
Chapter 103 103
Yuki stood frozen in the middle of the room, arms wrapped tightly around her chest as she glared at Stefano.
“I won’t strip in front of you,” she said, her voice shaking but sharp. “Is this what you do to every young lady you pick interest in? Forcing them to strip in front of you? Have some decency, you pervert!”
Stefano sighed, looking almost tired of the conversation. He rubbed the bridge of his nose for a second before speaking.
“I wasn’t going to watch you strip,” he said. “I was leaving immediately. What do you take me for?”
Yuki’s face twisted with anger and disgust. “What worse could I expect from you? You forced me to suck your dick, remember? Who knows what disease I’ve contracted!”
Stefano let out a low chuckle, clearly amused by her words. “You’re funny.”
“It’s not a joke!” Yuki snapped, frustration burning in her eyes.
Stefano’s expression stayed calm. He gestured toward the bathroom.
“Well, once you’re done with your shower, change into the new pair of clothes and meet me downstairs.”
“Why?” Yuki looked at him warily.
“One of my men will drop you off at your dorm,” he said simply.
She froze, completely caught off guard.
“My… dorm? But you… you kidnapped me… you…”
Stefano closed the distance between them in two quick steps. He raised his hand to her face and cupped her cheek, his thumb slowly rubbing her skin.
“We’re still leaving tonight to Italy,” he said quietly. “I already promised your parents that I was going to bring you back to Italy by tomorrow. It’s your choice if you want to go or not.”
Yuki swallowed hard. “My… parents.”
“You can tell your friends that you’re leaving tonight.” He continued. “I’ll pick you up myself.”
He turned away from her and walked toward the door. Before he left, he paused for a second.
“Take your time with the bath.”
The door shut behind him with a soft click.
Yuki stood there for a long moment, staring at the closed door. The idea of meeting her parents still felt completely foreign to her. What should she do? Just leave with him? Would they even let her come back if she wanted to?
She looked at the bathroom, then at the fresh clothes and towels he had left for her on the bed.
Her mind was a complete mess.
_____
Yuki stepped out of the black car, her legs feeling heavy. Danzo remained seated in the driver’s seat, engine still running.
“Boss will be the one to pick you up tonight,” he said flatly.
Yuki gave a small, numb nod. She didn’t look back as she closed the car door and walked toward the dorm entrance. When she reached her floor and turned into the hallway, she froze mid-step.
Ivy was just stepping out of her own room, talking quietly with Jordan and Kade standing right beside her.
The second Yuki saw Ivy, something inside her snapped. The look she gave her former friend was raw — hurt, betrayal, and pure anger all mixed together.
“Yuki…” Kade said, eyes widening with relief as he rushed toward her.
Yuki ignored him completely. She walked straight past Kade and stopped right in front of Ivy. Without saying a word, she raised her hand and delivered a loud, sharp slap across Ivy’s cheek.
The sound cracked through the hallway.
Ivy’s head snapped to the side. She touched her reddening cheek but didn’t raise her hand or fight back.
“I know… I deserve it for what I did.” Ivy said quietly, eyes lowered. “I’m sorry. But he’s my boss and I was just following orders.”
“I never imagined you would do that to me, Ivy. Selling me off like I was nothing? Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Huh? Or were you just spying for him the whole time?” Yuki’s voice came out shaky but filled with pain.
“It was real. I do care about you, Yuki. But Stefano… he’s not someone you say no to. I had no choice.” Ivy looked guilty, but her voice stayed steady.
“No choice?” Yuki’s voice rose, tears burning in her eyes. “You had a choice every single day! You could have warned me! You could have told me what he was planning! Instead you smiled in my face and led me straight to him like I was some fucking package to be delivered!”
Kade stepped forward quickly, gently grabbing Yuki’s arm. “Yuki, let’s talk inside your room. We might draw unnecessary attention out here.”
Yuki was breathing hard, still glaring at Ivy, but she let Kade guide her toward her door. Jordan followed silently behind them. The three of them entered Yuki’s dorm room. Kade closed the door firmly behind them, locking it.
_____
Yuki sat on the edge of her bed, a half-empty bottle of water in her hand. She took one last sip from the bottle and dropped it on the floor beside her feet.
“So, that’s why he was after you?” Jordan asked, leaning against the wall. “Not just because he was interested in you, but because… of your parents?”
“Yes,” Yuki said, her voice tired. “Funny ain’t it? My real parents are in the fucking Mafia. I seriously don’t know how to react to all of this. How on earth did I end up in the orphanage? Am I even supposed to believe him? I just…”
She trailed off, rubbing her temples.
Kade had been quiet the whole time, sitting on the chair across from her. He finally looked up, his eyes meeting hers.
“So, you’re going to Italy with him?” He asked, his voice low.
Yuki met his gaze. “Kade…”
“Part of you wants to believe that he’s telling the truth about your parents,” Kade said. “Part of you wants to meet them if they’re real, right?”
Yuki bit her lip and sat down fully on the bed, pulling her knees up slightly.
“I’ve been thinking about it for a while now and I… really do want to meet them,” admitted. “I’ve spent my whole life thinking I had no one. No real family. If they’re actually out there… I need to know what they’re like. I just… I need answers, Kade. I need to know where I came from.”
Kade’s expression was pained. He looked down at his hands for a moment.
“What about Stefano?” he asked quietly.
Jordan glanced at Kade, then back at Yuki.
“Fine, you’re going to meet your parents, but there’s still Stefano to worry about. There’s no guarantee that he’ll let you come back here once you go to Italy. And your parents — you said they’re in the Mafia, right? What if they never let you come back?”
“I’ll find a way,” Yuki said, though her voice wasn’t as confident as she wanted it to be. “If I’m truly their daughter, I’m sure they won’t keep me locked up in Italy.”
“Truth still remains that you don’t know them or what they’re capable of,” Kade said. He stood up, running a hand through his hair. “I’m… worried about you, Yuki.”
“Kade…”
“I’m even more worried that I’ll never see you again,” He admitted, his voice cracking slightly.
“We shouldn’t assume the worst right now. If Yuki made her decision to meet her parents, then I think we should just wait and see what happens. And besides, Yuki will keep in touch. I can always try to communicate with Stefano too.” Jordan stepped in gently.
Yuki gave Jordan a small, grateful look. “I’m glad you understand where I’m coming from, Jordan.”
She then turned back to Kade, who was staring at her with raw fear in his eyes.
“So, when are you leaving?” Kade asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Um… tonight,” Yuki said. “He said he was going to pick me up.”
Kade’s face crumpled. Without another word, he pulled her into a tight, desperate hug. His arms wrapped around her like he was afraid she would disappear if he let go.
“You’ll come back, right?” he whispered against her hair. “If you can’t, just give me a call. I’ll come get you, I swear.”
Yuki hugged him back just as tightly, burying her face in his chest, tears soaking into his shirt.
