Chapter 251 Thalia Jumped

Chapter 252 Shout "Honey" and Listen

I don't know who leaked the news that she got injured and was carried into the hospital by a man.

The gossip entertainment reporters only cared about the second half - being carried into the hospital by a man.

The fans only cared about the first half - the injury. And just like that, these two groups ended up gathering together.

The hospital entrance was now completely blocked, even the parking lot was packed with people.

When Thalia heard this news, her mind went blank.

Might as well just stay in the hospital, no way she's leaving now.

"Mr. Brown, the hospital entrance is surrounded by Mrs. Brown's fans and gossip entertainment reporters."

William rushed over after getting Amara's call, but before he could even see Thalia, he was blocked at the entrance.

William's face, which had been cold all day, turned even stormier. The low pressure filling the car made it hard for Finn, who was driving, to even breathe.

William tapped the ash off his cigarette, his expression cold and stern. Just sitting there, his intimidating presence made people afraid to look directly at him.

"Arrange for a helicopter to the rooftop."

"Got it."

Soon after, the sound of a helicopter could be heard on the hospital's top floor.

Everyone's attention was on Thalia, no one thought of anything else.

In Amara's office, she propped her chin up and looked at Thalia: "I'm on duty tonight, why don't you just stay here."

"We can chat and keep each other company."

"Chat about what? About how many brains you opened today?" Thalia was a bit shocked.

"If you want to chat with me, that's fine too."

"You might as well tell me about William's romantic history, so I can win our arguments when I get home."

"His romantic history is just you. What's there to tell? You're the person involved, don't you know better than me?"

Thalia didn't believe it. William was so good-looking, she couldn't believe he hadn't had any women around him all these years.

William didn't even need to go looking for women - plenty of women threw themselves at him.

Back in school, tons of women wanted to get close to William. If she hadn't been there keeping watch, who knows, William might have been snatched away by someone already.

"Let me tell you about the story of this office!"

Thalia was curious: "What story?"

"This used to be a patient room. Later, this room became really creepy - every patient who was admitted here would die without fail. Over time, the department didn't dare admit patients to this room anymore. But you know, in a hospital, space is precious. Even the hallways have patients in them. How could they allow a room to stay empty?"

"And then?" Thalia had a bad feeling.

"And then it became what you see now - my office and rest room."

As Amara spoke, she smiled meaningfully.

Thalia felt cold sweat breaking out on her back: "You're not making this up, are you?"

"Go grab any nurse in the hallway and ask them."

Thalia swallowed hard, abandoning the thought of staying here: "Aren't you scared?"

"The hospital director said doctors can't be afraid of these things." Amara leaned back in her chair, twirling her pen.

Thalia shrank back, feeling like there were eyes watching her from behind the wall.

When the door was pushed open, Thalia jumped in fright.

"Are you a ghost? Don't you knock before coming in?"

William got scolded before he could even open his mouth.

William shot back with a dark face: "Would a ghost knock?"

"What guilty thing did you do to make you so scared?"

"Mind your own business."

Thalia stubbornly shot back.

Amara sensibly got up and left, not wanting to get involved in their business. Before leaving, she didn't forget to remind them: "Keep it down! There are many patients in my department who just had brain surgery. They can't handle stress."

Thalia: .........

The office door closed. William, in his black suit, walked to the door and stared at her coldly. His deep, dark gaze traveled from Thalia's face down to her legs: "Well, well, Mrs. Brown. You've got skills now. Not content with being a normal person, you want to be a superhero?"

"That's because I learned from Mr. Brown. Not content with being a normal person, you had to go be a dog. If you hadn't stopped being human, would I need to be a superhero?"

"Could I have stopped you from jumping off the building?" William walked to Thalia's side, bent down with his hands on the bed, looking at her, trapping Thalia between the single bed and the wall with no escape.

"That's a nice way to put it. Like I'd give up my good life to jump off a building? Wasn't I driven to desperation by Mr. Brown? Don't think I don't know what you're thinking. A secret marriage is a secret marriage. If you dare pull any more tricks on me, you better protect your private parts when you sleep, or one day I'll cut them off."

Thalia grabbed William's tie and pulled him close, grinding her teeth as she warned him.

William was threatened but didn't get angry. He slightly pulled at the corner of his lips and pulled his tie back: "Then you'll be a widow for the rest of your life."

"Whatever."

"Not much of a person but quite a mouth on you."

William looked down at Thalia, then turned to leave.

Seeing William about to leave, Thalia's mind went blank. He's just leaving? Leaving her alone in this office where someone died?

"William, stop right there."

"William......."

"William......."

"Didn't Mrs. Brown have a lot of guts? Dared to jump off a building but scared of a hospital office?"

Thalia: .........

"Let me remind you, downstairs is full of your fans and gossip reporters. If you want to leave now, there's only one way," William pointed at the ceiling.

Thalia thought of the helicopter William used for commuting at the film studio.

"Spill it! Do you want money or sex?"

William: ........."Stay here by yourself then!"

Won't learn your lesson, so think it over.

"William, if I die, I'll haunt you as a ghost. I'll come out every night to scare you. Every time you get a new girlfriend, I'll come out and scare you, until you become impotent."

Amara at the door: .......

Have they no shame?

William laughed in anger. Probably knowing this was just how Thalia was, he couldn't be bothered to argue with her: "Call me honey and let me hear it."

"Honey, honey, honey, honey."

It's just calling him honey, right? She never had any shame anyway. Forget calling him honey, she'd even call him daddy.

With William's suit jacket covering her head, Thalia was carried all the way into the elevator and onto the helicopter before finally breathing a sigh of relief.

She turned her head to look down and saw the swarm of reporters and fans at the entrance.

"Let me see your leg."

Thalia didn't act coy. She rolled up her pant leg to show William. When William saw her swollen knee, he glared at Thalia in frustration: "Tomorrow I'll have someone install security bars, let's see how you jump then."

"Are you crazy? Installing security bars on a villa worth over a billion dollars? Why don't you just line them with gold?"

After getting off the helicopter, before Thalia and William could continue their argument, Fallon came over with a phone: "Mr. Brown, Brian's calling."
