Chapter 192: Mr. Brown, You Have This Hobby Too?

Chapter 192 Mr. Brown, You Have This Hobby Too?

The woman kneeling on the ground froze, looking up at him in terror.

She stammered: "Mr. Brown."

William tapped his cigarette ash in the air, adjusted his pants, and crouched down in front of the woman: "Haven't you thought about it? If everyone who couldn't hold on came crying to me like you, and I helped them all, what would that make me?"

The woman's face instantly turned deathly pale. She stared at William's murderous expression with trembling lips, unable to say a word.

William chuckled softly: "This is the first time, and the last time."

"If anything like this happens again, you can choose to call the police."

"Mr. Brown, Mrs. Brown is here," Finn heard through his earpiece that Thalia was coming down the elevator and immediately walked to William's side to whisper.

William slowly stood up, cigarette in hand, preparing to leave.

The woman's heart jumped. She had gone through so much trouble to see William. If she didn't achieve her goal today, she would never have another chance.

"Mr. Brown, Mr. Brown."

William walked around the Maybach and left. Finn took his people and left, leaving only a faint struggling sound in the entire parking garage.

"Why did you come down?" William stubbed out his cigarette on top of a trash can and looked at Thalia, who had just exited the elevator, his expression gentle.

"I thought you were leaving and wanted to catch a ride with you."

William looked at her sneaky expression and chuckled softly: "Not leaving."

"Okay." Thalia lifted her skirt, preparing to enter the elevator.

A woman's painful moan came through. Thalia's steps into the elevator stopped abruptly: "What was that sound?"

"Was there a sound?" William's gaze turned to the bodyguard beside him.

The bodyguard caught on and said: "Probably brake sounds."

"Let's go! Get in," William's warm palm landed on her lower back, pushing her into the elevator.

Meanwhile, by the Maybach, the woman vaguely saw the figure of someone beside William.

She tried to struggle and chase after them.

But Finn held her down.

"Get two people to throw her back at the Wood Villa entrance."

As Finn's words landed, he raised his hand and knocked her out.

In the elevator, Thalia was still thinking about the sound from earlier, looking at William with some confusion: "Are you sure I heard wrong? I could swear I heard someone struggling."

"Do you always stick your nose in other people's business?"

Thalia: ........

"What if someone's getting hurt?"

"The kind of people who can get into today's event aren't ordinary. Even if they're doing something, it's voluntary. Why would you go stir things up? To clap and cheer them on?"

Thalia: "Are they having sex? How do you know? Did you see something? Mr. Brown, you have that kind of hobby? Who would've thought - you seem so proper normally."

Before Thalia could finish her teasing, William pressed her waist against the elevator wall. He laughed in exasperation, looking down at her, his tone firm: "You choose! Either shut up on your own, or I'll make you shut up in front of the elevator camera."

"I'll shut up on my own!" A wise person knows when to back down. They'd agreed to keep the marriage secret - she couldn't drop the ball at a time like this. If her career got ruined because of her big mouth, she'd be furious.

William stared at her, then slowly stepped back.

The two had just steadied themselves when the elevator door opened.

Someone came out of the restroom diagonally ahead, drying their hands. Hearing the elevator sound, they looked up to see William and Thalia standing together, both leaning against the elevator wall. William's figure was tall and imposing with an outstanding presence, while Thalia was beautiful and alluring with a charming posture - no matter how you looked at it, they were a perfect match.

Seeing this scene, the person's mind had already started writing a 500,000-word romance novel.

A powerful CEO and his celebrity wife!

Thalia stretched out her hand, gesturing for William to exit first.

"Thalia."

Just as she lifted her skirt to exit the elevator, Gregory's voice came from behind.

"Where did you go? Aaron's looking for you."

"Coming right now."

William turned his head, seeing the two standing together. When his silent gaze fell on Thalia, it actually carried a hint of displeasure.

"Mr. Brown," Kurt saw William coming out of the elevator and hurried over to greet him.

"Kurt."

William nodded in greeting, and when his gaze fell on the group of capitalists, he surprisingly saw a familiar face.

Nora? How could a female celebrity who couldn't even make it to the big stage be standing among this group of people?

Since that time in the private room when Kurt heard William speak up for Nora, he thought William was interested in her. Originally, he looked down on Nora, who couldn't make it to the big stage, but thinking that she was here today, he called her over. Now seeing William's gaze land on Nora, he thought he'd done the right thing.

"How does Nora know those people?" Just as Thalia and Gregory walked up to Aaron, someone from the director's circle asked curiously.

Thalia's gaze followed, seeing Nora standing beside Kurt with a delicate posture, smiling obsequiously and trying to lean close to him.

She remembered the perfume smell on William that time.

If the scene that day was similar to today's, it would make sense.

"What are you looking at?" Gregory saw Thalia looking over there and asked.

"Yesterday I went drinking at a club with my friend and saw Nora looking for Kurt, then she got kicked out of the private room. Today's atmosphere doesn't look quite the same though."

"Businessmen keep female celebrities for pleasure and enjoyment, like keeping a cat. If she makes him happy, he gives her some benefits. Otherwise, beating and scolding her is common."

Thalia raised an eyebrow, seemingly not expecting him to tell her these things.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just think what you said makes sense. Makes me want to keep a cat too."

Gregory: "The cat I'm talking about and the cat you're talking about aren't the same thing."

"I know! The one I want to keep is exactly the cat you're talking about."

Gregory: Why don't you just say you want to find a male model?

He picked up his glass and took a sip of wine, covering up the embarrassment of being led astray by Thalia.

On the other side, everyone's attention had shifted from Thalia to Nora.

Watching her navigate among a group of big shots, jealousy coiled wildly in their hearts.

But Nora knew that all of this was only because Kurt wanted to curry favor with William. She was just a gift being sent out.

If William accepted her as a gift, she'd still have some use. If he didn't, Kurt might grab her by the neck and throw her out.

"Mr. Brown."

Behind him, a celebrity came over with a wine glass, wanting to join this circle.

William heard this voice that sounded similar to Thalia's and turned around, but didn't notice the server passing behind him with a tray.

In an instant, the entire tray of wine spilled onto his suit, accompanied by the sound of glasses shattering on the floor.

Kurt seized the opportunity and pushed Nora: "Nora, take Mr. Brown to get cleaned up."
