Chapter 124 Let's See Which Type of Man My Wife Likes

Chapter 124 Let's See Which Type of Man My Wife Likes

In the bar, Thalia and Evelyn were lazily leaning against the counter, their eyes lighting up as they watched the male singer on stage.

Evelyn stared at him like a fox eyeing meat: "What do you think, how old is that singer?"

Thalia followed her gaze and clicked her tongue: "You already guessed, so why ask? Does it matter how old he is?"

"It does! What if I accidentally break the law?"

This kind of thing had happened before. Someone in their circle, a rich kid, slept with a girl who was dressed provocatively and clearly experienced. They ended up in bed together. Then the police happened to raid the place, and it turned out the girl was underage, so he went to jail.

Thalia picked up her glass and took a sip, her slender, smooth fingers tapping against the glass as if thinking about something.

Evelyn leaned over, sizing him up: "Think he's got an eight-pack?"

"The type who looks slim in clothes but has a body underneath. Seems well-behaved on the surface, but a beast in bed."

Hearing Evelyn's words, Thalia's ears turned red, thinking of William—a man in suits during the day, but a well-dressed beast once the clothes came off at night.

Thalia's fingers slowly traced the patterns on her glass. The hard ridges didn't feel as good as William's abs.

"Let me ask for you."

Thalia smoothly got to work, first calling over the bartender to ask if he had the singer's contact info, to borrow a look at his Facebook.

The bartender knew Thalia well enough. He opened his phone, pulled up the guy's Facebook, and handed it to Thalia.

Thalia couldn't hold back her squeal.

"I like it," Evelyn's eyes went wide: "If he's already like that, why even wear pants? Isn't that being too formal? Why not pull them down a bit more?"

The latest photo on the guy's feed showed him shirtless, revealing an eight-pack, his bronze skin giving off a very masculine vibe.

One hand holding his phone, the other pulling at his waistband.

"Like it?"

"Like it," Thalia nodded. She'd expected a cute, well-behaved type, but this was so wild—who wouldn't like it?

"Should I go get his number for you?"

Thalia had an ominous feeling. A man's voice suddenly appeared beside her. She didn't think much of it at first, but the more she listened, the more familiar it sounded.

Her neck stiffened as if frozen, and she slowly turned her head.

What she saw was William, casually leaning beside her with a slight smile playing on his lips.

Thalia: .........

Evelyn: ....... Exciting. Coming to a bar to catch his wife on their first day of marriage?

If William and Thalia's story were written as a romance novel, it would definitely be thrilling.

Thalia coughed awkwardly, returned the phone to the bartender, and picked up her glass to hide her embarrassment: "If it's possible......"

Before Thalia could finish, she saw William reach out toward the bartender, signaling him to hand over the phone.

Thalia was stunned. The bartender looked at William and felt this man's overwhelming presence—naturally domineering and powerful, clearly someone he couldn't afford to mess with.

He looked at Thalia uncertainly.

Thalia quickly reached out to block him: "Why do you want the phone?"

William glanced at her and said, "To see what type of man my wife likes."

Evelyn: ...... Wife? Isn't this a secret marriage?

Thalia pushed away William's outstretched hand: "I definitely like your type!"

"Is that so?" William still took the phone from the bartender and, mimicking Thalia, opened the photo and examined it carefully.

Then William called Finn over and whispered something in his ear.

Thalia and Evelyn watched as Finn walked toward the stage, said something to the singer, and the singer came down.

"William, what are you trying to do?" Thalia had a bad feeling.

William didn't answer Thalia directly but looked at the bartender: "Borrowing your phone, I'll return it in a bit."

With that, William hooked his arm around Thalia's shoulder and led her to the back.

When William saw the singer, he handed him the phone: "This is you?"

The singer didn't understand but still nodded: "Yes, it's me."

William acknowledged this, squeezed Thalia's shoulder with his palm, and glanced at Evelyn standing nearby: "Following this picture, take it off."

Thalia: ...... What is this lunatic trying to do?

She tried to break free from William, but he squeezed her shoulder and leaned down to whisper something in her ear, making her face turn red.

The singer's face darkened. Looking at the arrogant, imposing man before him, he trembled. William's words weren't a suggestion but a direct order.

"I'm not gay."

The singer stammered. He'd heard from friends that many big shots had special preferences. Could he have run into one today?

"Neither am I," William replied.

"Then you......"

"My wife wants to see. Take it off. Don't make me say it a third time."

Evelyn was stunned. What was William trying to accomplish with this?

Teaching Thalia a lesson?

Or purely trying to humiliate this guy?

"Mr. Brown, isn't this too much?"

Hearing Evelyn's words, something flashed through the singer's mind. Many women in their circle who wanted to climb the social ladder would sit together researching Emerald City's elite and rich kids.

William?

The name sounded familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.

"I'm helping you fulfill your dreams, and instead of thanking me, you say I'm going too far?"

Thalia also sensed William's twisted mood and looked at him sideways: "Really? My dream is to sleep with him. Should Mr. Brown stand on the side and cheer me on?"

Thalia mocked him, causing William's hand on her shoulder to tighten viciously.

The force was so strong it felt like he wanted to break her shoulder.

Thalia cried out and tried to pry his hand away, but he held her down.

The singer across from them finally figured out what was going on.

Probably this big shot's wife was interested in him, and the big shot was jealous.

Though he was curious inside, he didn't dare show it, afraid of becoming a plaything for these wealthy people.

..........

"What are you doing?"

Thalia was dragged back to William's apartment. As soon as they entered, William turned on the hallway light and closed the curtains.

Watching him remove his suit jacket and then stand before her, his deep gaze fixed on her like a mountain spring about to drown her, Thalia momentarily found herself intoxicated by his gaze.

She watched William pull out his shirt, his slender fingers unbuttoning his shirt one button at a time.

Thalia's mind was foggy, as if she'd drunk fake alcohol, completely mesmerized by the William before her. Her voice hoarse, she asked: "William, what are you trying to do?"
