DAMIEN'S POV
She had left again, I thought as I woke up. Sitting on the bed for a few minutes, I couldn't think of a reason why she'd left again without saying anything. Was the sex bad? I mean, I take pride in what I do, but with her, I wasn't so sure. My phone buzzed beside me, and I moved to answer it.

"How Xavier? I already tried telling her to date me for a month" Frustrated, I walked to the balcony, sighing.
"Leave her alone." Was Xavier dumb? He just asked me to show her I liked her, and now he's asking me to leave her alone. "What I mean is avoid her for a while, and if she asks you what is wrong, then you know you have a chance. Make it clear that you are leaving her alone until she's ready."

"Will you just try it first?" Xavier said again.
"Fine. I have to go now, see you guys at work," I said as I looked at the time.

"Not bad." Xavier turned in his seat as he spoke. "So if she agrees, you'll date her?"
That had always been my plan from the start. "Yes."
"Alright." Standing up, I turned to leave. "Was that all you came for?"
"Of course. Why else would I be here?" Xavier gasped dramatically, holding his chest.
